  1. Always thought Nicole Matthews was pretty awesome. Excellent series with Billie Kay back in 2010-2011. Barbi Hayden is another that's at the tryouts.
  2. Another pretty good show here. Lashley/Hardy was good stuff and felt like a big time main event in the opener. Great Lashley match and promo after. Solid feud progressions elsewhere on the card. EC3/Eli is always good though Eli looks a bit weak still never able to beat EC3 even injured. DJ Z had one of the better X title reigns. DCC is back to looking like a major threat again.
  3. Great show. Fun opening segment setting up the tag. Cena/Orton did feel a little fresh happening now. Awesome to see Delilah Doom on again, last time on Raw she was Rachel Levy against Nia now Delilah Dawson. Loved the womens tag. The spot where Alexa did the double knees + backflip double knees on Naomi but clearly never actually landed on Naomi so she sold it herself because her knees hit the mat and that leading to the hot tag was great. Alexa is always a highlight every week. Another very good Ambrose/Styles main event w/ fun commentary and a solid win for AJ. Cracked up when Ambrose is on his knees and Styles follows in with a kick, Miz goes "What's this? Using MY kicks?" Good mix of talent lined up for the Chamber.
  4. Zero surprise legends makes this the most disappointing Rumble ever. Not even Kane, first time he hasn't been on the Rumble card since 98. Sucked.
  5. Absolutely loved the main event. Went in feeling like it was just a title defense where Roode had no chance but thought Roode looked fantastic all the way through, from the excellent superstar entrance on. Roode's always had a real old school heel quality to me, dig his mannerisms on little things throughout. Awesome hot crowd here. Was shocked that Roode got the win but felt it was done brilliantly and amazing storytelling. Definitely don't get the hate I see Roode get at times but then again the wrestlers I hate are the ones everyone loves. Kinda wish they never did the switch back with Joe for 2 weeks so it would've felt a little bigger to be the end of Nakamura's reign here. Great selling from Nakamura, protected in defeat while Roode got put over very strong. Probably my favorite NXT match from both guys so far. I hope Roode has a reign similar to his TNA one. Glorious! The women's match was the only one I was really looking forward to and thought it was pretty good, if a bit short. I also thought about Billie/Peyton not at least trying to lay down for the other, especially after taking out Nikki and having Asuka down. Peyton's near fall off the widows peak was good stuff. Peyton and Billie are great together, loved them on the preshow winning the breakout star award. Like that it seems Asuka/Nikki might continue. I do hope Asuka never loses, ever. Everything else on the show was solid enough but didn't grab my attention as much, the top 2 matches ruled.
  6. I wish, but pretty sure that's the same fake that's been reported for years. Page keeps getting wiped and coming back.
  7. Good show. Ironman match was pretty great with a big time feel. Have enjoyed most of their matches throughout their feud and Lashley's last title reign was one of my favorites so looking forward to him back on top. Rosemary rules and took some brutal bumps in the Monsters Ball. The actual finish almost felt lesser compared to the thumbtacks and barbed wire board, but good stuff throughout. Great Hardys stuff as usual, loved Jeff not challenging for the X title so not to feed the spot monkey addiction. Seemed odd that Galloway was randomly back to his old music now, both are good but I preferred his more recent theme.
  8. This is now bumped to the preshow, so the preshow will have 3 matches.
  9. Damnit now I wish I went the other way, hoped either Bisping or Nunes would take it.
  10. I had thought when they announced Cesaro/Sheamus in the Rumble, that Gallows/Anderson had entered too but I guess not. Seems weird to only have one of the teams wrestling each other on the preshow also be in the Rumble. But I'll hope this means there are 8 surprises. One will be The Demon Kane.
  11. I assumed it was always to hold off on Ember/Asuka until the Mania takeover, but it still doesn't seem like she's at Asuka's level quite yet. I don't think they split yet, but Billie was an amazing babyface back in Shimmer to where I was a little surprised how effective she's been as a heel. I think she's great at both. Figured Roode has zero chance here, but as a huge fan of his TNA title run I would dig that.
  12. Real good opener in Orton/Harper. Loved the Cena/Styles segment as usual. Thought Carmella was hilarious in that skit with Ellsworth, wasn't expecting to like that segment but it was entertaining. Glad to see Ziggler with a proper decisive win and in under a minute at that. Loved Alexa in segment with Naomi, she came off perfect as the champ and Naomi did well there too, made me interested in seeing a future title match between them.
  13. Cool closing visual, other than that I didn't care for anything on this show and Raw has everyone that I hate on it. A Pedigree on the damn apron treated as nothing. Welcome back MGFanJay! As far as Goldberg getting busted open, I also thought it was the sparks in his entrance though Graves said he "headbutted the door on his way out the locker room which he does every single time!" Hilarious that October 3 which featured Owens & Jericho vs New Day was the last Raw in which there was no combination of Reigns/Rollins in the same match as Owens/Jericho
  14. Tough call indeed. I think it's between Bisping and Nunes for me. Bisping is one of my all time favorites so it was great to see him have the year he had. Nunes looked killer in all of her performances including smashing both Tate and Rousey.
  15. Another vote for Lawler/Condit here. Had me on the edge of my seat rooting for Lawler to pull it off in the 5th. McGregor/Diaz II would be my runner up, thrilling fight as well.
  16. Not the Cyber Sunday match, but the Raw steel cage match the following week is the one
  17. Going with Tate as well for the reasons said above. Was also a great feel-good moment to see Miesha finally reach the top and win the title before retiring.
  18. Lashley/Edwards with another great promo segment. Always dig both guys on the mic, especially Lashley killing it every time. The Fact of Life: Race for the Case edition was so odd that it was absolutely hilarious. Tyrus was great there as was Eli without even talking. The DCC briefly turning in to goofy mimes was extremely strange but amusing. This ruled. Provided an interesting new twist on the old Feast or Fired concept. Always great to see Deonna Purrazzo, thought she shined and did very well in the time given. Would rather see her getting the push than Brooke but at the same time I enjoy seeing her pop up in every promotion. Galloway/Moose probably would've been better if it wasn't under Impact Grand rules. As it was, it was still pretty good but hampered by basically having a 9 minute time limit. They did do a very good job hyping it throughout the night as a big time main event. Next week should be good stuff with the Ironman and Monsters Ball, excellent hype vid for Rosemary/Jade.
  19. Pretty hilarious episode. Rusev scenes are always entertaining, great addition to the season.
  20. I miss babyface Ziggler but thought the segment was pretty good with Lawler looking ready for the fired up babyface comeback in the end. They announced Lawler's gonna call the Rumble with Cole & Graves, I guess replacing Saxton there. Styles/Miz was pretty good while it lasted. Alexa/Becky felt like the least of their matches so far to me unfortunately. Kind of seemed like the outcome/reveal was a foregone conclusion. Good to see Mickie back anyways. A little surprised she's back as a heel but her original run remains her best stuff. Looking forward to Mickie and Alexa together.
  21. Angle is saying that he wants Austin to induct him
  22. I've waited all year to vote for this one. Marion Reneau getting screwed was the biggest BS decision I saw this year for sure. Definitely the result I hated the most. Certainly see the case for Carvalho/Manhoef and figure that would win.
  23. Very happy to see Angle getting inducted and potentially being back in the mix. Always been one of my favorites.
