  1. Catching up on things. Really awesome Collision. The triple threat was a great fun opener. Loved the little bits like Luchasaurus staring at the title and at first turning away when Christian reached for it. Hell of a way to get the title on Christian for real. RVD & Hook tag was a blast, I'm all for more RVD in AEW. Big fan of Kiera so it was cool to see her for a couple minutes at least, one of my favs. Julia is killing it and I'd like to see her as TBS Champ. Thought Jay/Andrade was excellent. Jay's selling throughout was on point, loved everything on the Andrade spinning back elbow spot, that ruled. Jay having to use the ropes to bring Andrade up for the finish and then still selling the legs after from the figure 4/8 was great. Both guys work very well together. Main event felt epic, thought the finish came off pretty much perfectly with the chain around the knee. Forgot to mention the FTR/WorkHorsemen tag, which I thought was really good for a short match. The reaction and pop for the Workhorsemen flurry with JD's moonsault and Aussie Open on commentary was great stuff.
  2. Liked the different kind of opening promo seg setting up the main event. Flowed nicely in to Holidead/Aussie as a very solid opener. Good debut from Katarina Jinx. The new character vignette intros are always cool and well done. Kandi Krush looked awesome, dug the new added finisher to her arsenal. Coach vs BK was fun. Just missing Robbie with the Brat Pack. Interesting twist seemed to be about to start with Ariel Sky in the post match. Good fast paced quick main event. Another great week of Miami Sweet Heat on commentary. Love the ending post-match chaos, The Mother Truckers are out of jail! We're outta time!

  4. Correct. Daivari has been more of an agent now (hasn't wrestled since Double or Nothing in May and just managed Tony Nese a few times), Sonny Kiss was let go, and Jeeves Kay has gone back to his original VSK name on this week's ROH. Slim J did still use the theme/tron in his last appearance a month ago but was by himself.
  5. Fun opener from Shibata vs Nick Wayne. Shibata killer as always. Enjoyed Mercedes vs Adora. The MINION TRAINING skit was absolutely hilarious. Billie has the greatest facial expressions. Nice little match from Athena vs Angelina Love. Angelina appearing on Honor Club and ImPACT in the same night. Loved the trios tags, with both sides having awesome units of babyface and heel. Kiera/Skye/Willow made for an amazing babyface trio while Leyla & The Renegades is an awesome heel unit. Love to see Skye get the winning fall. Nice amount of backstage bits, Lexy's become one of the absolute best interviewers. Some decent matches followed ending with a real solid trios titles main event with the Embassy over Willie Mack & The Infantry.
  6. Main event was epic as promised. Loved seeing Gail back in the ring, great little interactions between her and Deonna, plus finally seeing Tasha back. Her and Mickie one of my favorite opponent pairings. Some cool double teams throughout as well. Thinking they might do Trinity/Mickie for BFG. Kong was obviously limited but the pop for her tagging in 10 mins in was great and getting the eventual finish. Great tribute to the KO division. Also always love seeing AMW back together. Ultimate X was fun if a bit short. Speedball vs Ospreay should be awesome, also looking forward to another round of Speedball vs Gresham next week. Josh/Trey was good stuff, glad to see Trey in another showcase singles match again. Nice use of the FOX Box! Sad to see the end of JOYA already, I initially thought that may be the result but they had announced Yuya for a match at the next tapings so I guess that will just be a live crowd match. Crazzy Steve and Dreamer could have a wild hardcore match if they go that route for the Digital Media. Rhino/Maclin is a solid feud, glad that wasn't forgotten over time.
  7. Great show overall, very action packed and all the matches delivered. Awesome opener from Kingston/Claudio, delivering the long awaited epic moment. Nice Kawada vs Misawa colors and use of the Kawada powerbomb for the finish. Another hilarious Neck Strong segment. Laughed out loud at the bed noises as Taz wonders what the hell kind of hospital he's in. Liked Jericho/Sammy as a match, didn't love the post-match angle. Felt like a step back for Sammy's character to go away from wanting to stand on his own. Thought the WM XIX tribute attire was a nice touch but the shot for shot remake of the post-match turn was a bit much. Too bad they didn't save it for WrestleDream to do it in the same city too. Fenix/Moxley was wild and a real shocker. Could definitely tell right away something was off and it sucks for Moxley's big ending Orange reign to end in less than 3 weeks, but it gave a real anything can happen vibe. Hopefully Mox recovers well and Cole's isn't major. Loved Saraya/Toni, thought most everything they did worked well and both came off great. One year since Saraya's debut, one of my all time favorite crowd pops, lots of change since then. Main event was pretty epic. Went in thinking no way there'd be a title change but there were some great near falls and the added drama of Adam not being there at first. The big grudge matches both adhere to the Code of Honor tonight.
  8. Hook & Danhausen DLC for Fight Forever drops next Thursday
  9. The majority of Jade's matches this year were closer to the 8-10 minute range so it's not like she was still being kept hidden in squashes, and I thought she looked good and clearly improved in all of them against a wide variety of opponents (Taya, Starkz, Kris, Skye, etc) My personal favs were her matches against Tay and Anna last year, but then I also loved her match with Marina Shafir which was her longest singles to date.
  10. The New Season begins! Welcome back The Beast! Liking all the new little bits standing out production wise/new graphics for the season premiere. Great return for Adriana Gambino in a super solid quick match with Jennifer Florez. Though for sure Florez would get the win to bounce back from the Tormenta classic but Gambino gets the win and some mic time too. Nice sunset flip counter of the crescent kick in the corner. Fun action packed match. Speaking of Tormenta, another nice win for her over Fury. Fury is suddenly a super babyface take 2, and now being "on her own" I hope doesn't mean Razor is gone as she was one of my favs since this WOW began. Miami Sweet Heat remain one of my absolute favorites to watch. Their over the top mannerisms and promos are hilarious, the best heels. The FAB JAB! is an epic new finish for them. Adding them to commentary for the main was a great idea. Money Money Money! Solid world title match main event from Penelope and Chella. Good stuff to start the season
  11. lol @ blaming Mexican Independence Day for the judging, there's ALWAYS an excuse/refusal to accept the result when Valentina doesn't win, can't stand her. Awesome fight though, was on the edge of my seat throughout rooting for Alexa to pull it off. That punch that rocked Valentina across the Octagon was epic and the end of round 5 coming so close to a repeat of the last fight. I don't mind the result, was very close, just glad that Alexa remains the champ, definitely my fav. Great Noche!
  12. Knew there was no way Britt was winning the title just days after taking the fall on Dynamite, but the Lockjaw sequence was awesome and had me wishing. Always like the promo montage opening Collision. Cool to see the Powerplex! get the finish from FTR. Dig Andrade using the Figure 8 as well. Shibata vs Nick Wayne on ROH sounds fun. Love that we get another RVD appearance next week Definitely here for more Keith Lee/Shane Taylor interaction again (finally), though I still wish they kept JD Griffey around as he was for Final Battle last year rather than shoehorning Moriarty in to that spot.

  14. Nice hot start with Claudio/Rocky for the title, good match. Loved the competitive squash from Mercedes against Zoey Lynn, big fan of Zoey so I was glad to see her get a spot. Darius/Daniels was solid. Shane Taylor looked good in a longer than expected match against Big Shotty. Great video on the Athena/Billie saga and hilarious backstage with Billie and Lexy. Athena's minion training "practice ANGRY stomps!". Lexy also great in the later promo with Maria/Karter/Griff. Lady Frost moonsault on Willow looked absolutely killer, totally would've bought that as the finish. A string of squashes followed and then AR Fox vs Tony Nese was a solid little main event.
  15. Fun show. Interesting finish in Jody/KiLynn on BTI. The 30 minute opening seg of interruptions was epic with a great lineup of knockouts. I most love finally having Tasha Steelz back in the mix! One of my all time favs has been missed. Weird how things have fallen in to place with Tasha and Deonna both kind of just slotting back in to their traditional heel roles, especially Tasha since her face run was one match. Looking forward to the massive 10 woman tag next week. Team 3D back together ruled. Dug the Josh/Shelley back and forth, both did great, felt like Shelley was sliding more in to the heel role of the two with the way the segment ended. Loved the mixed tag as a fan of all 4, awesome moment for Traci to be heading in to the HOF. Great main event and moment for Sabin, main eventing Impact 1 and Impact 1000, and now the 10 time X Champ.
  16. Fun opener, the first time Moxley has bled in weeks! Liked the random little Orange/Hook segment, that was amusing. Popped for MJF busting out the full on Steiner Math on Joe, that was fantastic. Hangman/Cage ruled. Nice finish from Darby and Nick Wayne. Great main event, dig coming back around to Joe being the guy that put Strong in the neck brace to begin with and loved the post-match angle. Roderick's dramatic overselling as soon as he saw Adam coming was hysterical. "ADAM I can't see you!!" as he's been loaded onto the stretcher, Bennett & Taven blocking Cole from following the stretcher, all classic. Kinda surprised Jade's rematch is just being thrown on Rampage, but next week looks pretty nicely stacked for Grand Slam.
  17. It was not. He would return 3 years later for a WCW House Show in September 2000 where he won (at the time unrecognized) the US title from Lance Storm and dropped it back the next night. Then he would return for one more in February 2002 for Jimmy Hart's XWF promotion, defeating Greg Valentine.
  18. 26 years ago today. WrestleFest: 50 Years of Funk
  19. ah I see now 2002 just has a scroll down of the shows on the side, while every other year has a drop down menu to select which show and then the matches on the side.
  20. The majority of the match recommendations are ones that are up minus a few of the early ones, I believe. while some, like the Punk/Joe series, is in a recently added "collection" of those 3 matches despite those full events not being up. they have about half of 2003 with 9 events, but 2002 only the Era of Honor Begins is up.
  21. As of right now of those years, there are only the first four events from 2004, almost all of 2005 minus 1 or 2 events, 2006 is in full, and just the first half of 2007 is up.
