  1. It's a "Matthew and Tom present matches from the live event" type of episode, but all matches were good stuff. Hendry/Kazarian great with a lot of time. Really liked Deonna with Moose & Myers as a heel unit. Subculture looked great, Dani Luna always shines when given the opportunity. Looking forward to Dani vs Jordynne on Turning Point. Grado/Trey was fun. Emersyn Jane got in more than expected against Trinity, even kicking out of the Rear View, solid match. Good main event. this is where Shelley got injured as Sabin had to work the last few minutes by himself, hopefully he'll bounce back in no time given the way things are taped out in advance currently. Josh & Young make a cool sort of new Team Canada as a team.
  2. Orange/Claudio was awesome, loved the finishing counter. Surprised the Embassy just won the trios titles back just like that. Thought for sure the Elite would hold them until at least Final Battle, their reign felt kind of pointless in retrospect since they never did any ROH shows. Great commentary banter when Callis was out there for the tag. Instinctively, one of my first thoughts was worrying that Paul Wight would turn heel when the match comes around, but I hope not. Thought Shida/Willow was very solid. Loved the swerve with Skye not turning. Cole telling Roderick "I can hear you, you don't have to yell dude" is always great. Fun main event and post-match. "You fucking scissor him NOW!" Happy 60th Birthday Billy Gunn!
  3. the Embassy are invoking their rematch clause for the ROH Trios Titles against Hangman & The Bucks tonight this one is being taped for Rampage
  4. Reina/Wrecking Ball vs The Tongas should be a fun one for sure. Great first win for Gloria Glitter in a nice little match against Keta Rush. the Mother Truckers win their revenge on Las Bandidas I'm glad the main event turned in to an awesome fight/brawl rather than Beast just squashing Vickie Lynn. This had a great build and was more an effective angle to further their feud, love the ending in chaos.
  5. Harley Hudson won today's Gut Check, so that's at least one more
  6. I highly enjoyed Abadon/Shida and thought the finish still looked good. The crowd pop leading into it was great. "She's got a jack-o-lantern!!!" Huge pop for the LFI return and seemingly as faces at that was cool to see. Definitely look forward to having RUSH back! Thought MJF/Omega was pretty epic. Loved MJF busting out a fosbury flop dive. The gutwrench bomb through the table looked great. Almost bought the near fall when Kenny sat down on the first Panama attempt, but I love MJF using the Panama Sunrise in general as tribute to Cole. Fun exciting finishing stretch. Great touch afterwards showing all of the remaining challengers gunning for MJF watching on.
  7. Pretty fun show overall with mostly shorter matches but a lot of wrestling. Colby/Alonzo was a solid falls count anywhere match. I mark for the Headbangers, hope they stick around for more. Good womens' tag title match, I like both teams. Kylie's finish looked great. The Riddle Box match was a blast, all chaos. Kenzie/Ruthie made for a nice first PPV defense for Kenzie. The Knights of the Roundtables match was hilarious, with Kyle Davis having to constantly announce "no that doesn't count because it wasn't a ROUND table!" whenever someone went through a regular table. Decent main event, I dig the Cardona involvement here and earlier in the night setting it up as well. Full results NWA Samhain PPV.

  9. I'm just glad to see Abadon back and winning! Last year this time we got no Abadon for the season, so this is the first time on TV since the Halloween Deathmatch of 2021 with Britt which I loved. Tomorrow night's match with Shida is now being billed as a "Fright Night Fight"! Abadon's AEW Debut on Dark was against Shida and I was a big fan of their first title match on Dynamite in early 2021, so I'm highly looking forward to this one.

  11. I'm one of the few that absolutely loved that era of music in WWE, so I get nostalgic anytime it comes up and wish it was still that way. Huge fan of Trapt, Evanescence, etc. (did mark big for New Year's Day on NXT this week, a current favorite) I also would've thought Blurry was used at some point, but I'm probably thinking of "Nothing Left to Lose" being the Rumble 04 theme.
  12. Another nice win for Angelico against Metalik in tonight's opener. Dalton Castle vs. Anthony Henry was good stuff. the Mercedes/Diamante vs Athena/Billie tornado tag was an obvious highlight. Fun match for sure, gotta feel bad for Billie when Athena berates her afterwards. Kyle Fletcher vs Willie Mack was short but solid. This week's wild quick spotfest is Gravity vs Blake Christian vs Slim J vs Gringo Loco. Nice to see Slim J back, now with his own music with no more Trustbusters, he always shines. Good to see Rachael Ellering back as well, now with full entrance and picking up a win. Killer Legit Leyla squash is always good. Moriarty vs. Darius Martin was shockingly short but more angle advancement than anything. Like last week, the main event is another super quick triple threat tag match.
  13. Another night of Jennifer Florez (and Stephy some too) getting crushed again, this time by Chainsaw. Dug the Chainsaw/Holidead face off after. Team Exile look great as always. Shocked to see Jessie and Americana actually get the win, but of course their inability to get along continues anyway. Coach/Gigi was real solid. Sad for Randi Rah Rah to have vanished but look forward to who Coach finds as the new member replacement. Good build for Beast/McCoy main eventing next week. Main event tag was an awesome Tornado brawl. Great presumable feud blowoff and win for the Tongas. Finish was an absolutely killer double bump for Miami Sweet Heat, looked epic.
  14. I loved the opening flowing from the MJF/Juice match into the promos and post-match involvement from the Kingdom and the Acclaimed, and ultimately ending up with setting up the MJF/Omega showdown for Saturday. Great stuff. Always enjoy more RVD in AEW. Ric Flair is ALL ELITE! Was hoping he'd join the team with Darby in a sling still accepting. Jericho calling on BIGGER friends, hope we're getting Hobbs vs. Wight. Really liked Shida/Ruby. Main event was fun and ended in chaos. Orange/Claudio next week should rule based off their interactions here. Hope Bryan's not going out again with injury. And they announced ABADON~! will be on Rampage! first time on TV in 2 years since the epic Halloween Deathmatch with Britt, hope she wins in time for this year's season.
  15. Halloween Havoc was my favorite top to bottom NXT show in a long time. Loved New Year's Day opening performance mixed in with the clips of the feuds, worked really well. Roxanne has been awesome in the gimmick matches and I like Kiana a lot too, super fun opener. Thought both womens breakout matches were pretty good. Popped for Chase U winning the tag titles, thought that was the right move and I've been loving Jacy Jayne's involvement with them lately. Blair/Gigi was pretty good, the Fallon/Tiffany bit was great. Main event was suitably epic. Huge fan of Lyra and didn't expect her to actually win so I marked big for that, awesome match/moment. Pretty much everything hit for me on this one.
  16. For what it's worth, Schiavone says on the Control Center that Sting's gift that will be presented to him tonight is "historic" and that "nothing like this has ever happened to a wrestler in pro wrestling"
  17. Impact has announced that Ospreay/Speedball from BFG will air in it's entirety on tomorrow's Impact. EDIT: Looks like the whole episode this week is just recapping BFG.
  18. Sabin/KENTA was a nice solid opener. Thought it'd go a little longer, surprised Sabin got the win when he did. Monster's Ball was fun, surprised PCO got the win if he's on the way out but I guess if they write him out it will be on Impact. Ospreay/Speedball was absolutely epic, lived up to all expectations. Loved the superkick exchange leading into the outta nowhere Hidden Blade. Speedball's rana counter was so perfectly smooth. Ospreay busting out the Styles Clash. Finishing sequence was killer. Amazing match, definite showstealer. Call Your Shot is always fun, pretty good surprise entrants. Only terrible disappointment of the night was the Knockouts Tag titles getting bumped off to dark match status, was looking forward to that one. Trinity vs. Mickie was pretty good. Great main event, absolutely shocked by the outcome with Shelley retaining straight up just using his finish. Thought it would take a lot more to put Josh down. The ending vignette/announcement was odd but I guess TNA is BACK! Full results BFG:

  21. Awesome opener from Angelico vs Gravity this week, maybe match of the night. Nice job building up Angelico a little bit considering it feels like it's been years. The weekly highlight with Athena and Billie continue the greatness. Billie/Diamante was a fun little match with Mercedes and Athena excellent in their roles at ringside. The post-match chaos ruled, great visual with all the refs. Billie always having the greatest expressions/reactions to everything. Tony Nese actually beating Ethan Page shocked me, didn't see that one coming so it made for a nice surprise upset for a change. Pat Buck looked good in his brief showing against Josh Woods, stood out as unique and digging the theme music too. Surprisingly quick squash from Cole Karter & Griff Garrison as they become more on the same page. Always love to see Kiera Hogan in action, nice short match vs Allysin Kay. Good to see Marti Belle again as well. Only disappointed that one of my favs Zoey Lynn/sky got the shortest squash of them against Lady Frost. Komander/Metalik was an epic spotfest with non stop action for just under 5 mins. The triple threat tag team main event came and went almost just as quick.
