Nutting, Fisher, and Reinsdorf is a punchline waiting to happen. Whom would you punch first?

On Carroll and the Raiders, I'm not overjoyed about the hire, but he's a proven veteran coach who won't be learning on the job. And hopefully he will be able to stick around longer than one season to provide a semblance of stability. I'm trying to look for a silver lining here. Hell, I'd settle for a cubic zirconia lining at this point.

yay Maybe Marshawn Lynch will come back and they can have a reunion.

Beat me to it. Buncha lead paint drinkers.

But, he won't be running the offense. That's Jerry's role.

Obviously, the answer to the Dodgers is to add 4 more teams to the playoffs, make every 3rd home run a MEGA HR worth 5 funs, and half price Celsius energy drinks after 3 innings. There's a freebie for you, Commissioner. /s

DVD/BR Collector Thread for the Physical Media Enthusiasts

Which one, 1988 or 2013? The true sequel from 1988 is a good film, the 2013 reboot, not so much. -
Hopefully season four's tagline is "MOre Baby Billy!".
-
Pretty much anything from the 90s will give you a good idea of what they're about.

Mental illness? They had a good 5 album run where they were firing on all cylinders. Lost a lot of time with them and Lake of Tears back 10-15 years ago. Seems like another life.

A damn fine album from Thin Lizzy. A shame how things went down with Whitesnake, but he was part of a phenomenal rejuvenation for them. R.I.P.

I should have picked up some cheese tonight.

If you have access to watch it, I highly suggest double featuring 2017s Lucky directed by John Caroll Lynch, no relation, with The Straight Story. David Lynch has a cameo!
-
Lynch and Uecker both appeared in The Simpsons. I haven't fully absorbed the news of David Lynch's death, so I'll just say that he opened my mind to the possibilities of media. Bob Uecker was a broadcaster by the time I was a baseball fan. Then he went into acting. Whenever I saw him, he always brought a chuckle. R.I.P. to Bob and David, both affected my life in different ways.

May be that they found out who broke into Malkin's pad and got his rings.

I had the misfortune of seeing the MGK & Jelly Roll song, "Lonely Road", and that was certainly a video that was produced. I'm not the biggest John Denver fan, but it was rough. And, yes, they do eat that born again, and I'm not talking Black Sabbath, shit like honey.

Sounds like double-bullshit to me. -
It's a good thing I let go of things like this a long time ago. (Being embarrassed by a sports team, that is.)

Cohen needs to nip this in the bud. Crank that Motorhead and rule with an Iron Fist, Steve.

She likes to party!party!party!.

I grew up in that era and had the Scramble Van, Rocket Cycle and the regular bike. That was before George Lucas and Kenner changed toy history. Only found out about the "real" Evel when I became an adult. I still marked out when I met him at a Harley Davidson dealership despite knowing the truth. Still a fan of the myth, not the man. Wish I could find a good copy of the 1974 TV Pilot with Sam Eliott as Evel. It's on YouTube, but the quality is what you'd expect.

There's are reasons he's in the RedletterMedia Hall Of Fame.

His wife is also appearing, now. Add the Watts clan to the go away list for me

I highly recommend watching the Rifftrax version of Viva Knievel! (1977), it helps the film go down a bit. And don't forget Marjoe Gortner and Cameron Mitchell are in the cast, as well.

But, it's 180 gram vinyl.
