What about Santino almost winning the Elimination Chamber?? He could've been screwed put of the Mania shot down the line....but that was another one of those missed moments. I actually got an opportunity to have a pretty long talk with Santino/Anthony and I told him that I really thought that the character had one run as a serious challenger if they booked him as a serious threat. Which given his skill level and the fact that he was such a beloved character, could've worked. Too bad his health issues took that possibility off the table.

Even before the cruiserweight division...especially early 91 until the Yellow Dog angle when he was feuding with the Horsemen, Pillman was on fire. Sure he got to wrestle Arn, BW, & Flair alot, but he was such a plucky, fiery but sympathetic baby face. I'm pretty sure there was a weekend in February or March where he wrestled Flair back to back on WCW and The Main Event and they were just fucking great.
