    I earned my 54th Platinum trophy tonight with Dead Nation on PS3. Morbid difficulty is no joke.

    Nintendo did something really stupid yesterday that other boards and Kotaku have spent a great time writing about. Between Nintendo's stupidity towards their own employees and Microsoft's stupidity about Xbox console becoming a thing of the past with their Windows 10/Xbox focus, it's sad that I will buy Sony PlayStation iterations endlessly.

    Trying to Platinum Dead Nation right now but the last mission on Grim sucks ass. I did it separately on Grim and was able to unlock Morbid difficulty but this is Housemarque's worst game. It's so broken. I'm also doing Ghost Recon Future Soldier online trophies. If you're thinking about doing it, don't. There's no one playing the game and trophies can be earned in squads mode with about 7 other people. I got one of the hardest/rarest trophies yesterday which requires you to do a challenge and send back to a friend five times. I'm also watching boss battles from Dark Souls 3 online. I don't want to be spoiled for actual areas, I just want to know what I'll be facing.

    Right now, Best Buy has EA Sports UFC 2 for $40. I'm thinking of getting it but I just picked up some niche Japanese game by Aksys called Aegis of Earth: Protonovus Assault. And Day of the Tentacle Remastered is this week too.

    I'm hoping that most of the games will be playable without the PSVR. I have a feeling it'll be a highly expensive Move controller if there's not a game that is worth it (although Golem looks nice). Oh, I Platinum'ed BioShock. That final boss battle is ridiculous. And I bought a bunch of games since the last time I logged in so what else is new.

    I Platinum'ed L.A. Noire tonight. Not really that bad of a game although parts of it felt very 'incomplete' story wise. It was like Rockstar forced Team Bondi to change it from a Quantic Dream style game to a typical open world game halfway through (I imagine the collectibles were added at the last minute).

    I'm trying to Platinum L.A. Noire and I got to five star about 7 cases and that's it. It's the least fun Rockstar game but at least I don't have to hunt down 100 packages or do anything with Roman. And I'm about 46% done with Star Wars Battlefront trophy wise. This weekend is double credits weekend while COD Black Ops 3 has double XP/double weapon XP weekend. I got done Friday night with COD Black Ops 3's multiplayer so I don't ever have to do its multiplayer again (but I have to do zombies and then try to Platinum it which includes some incredibly tough challenges).

    51st Platinum is Game Of Thrones: A Telltale Game Series. I'm hoping the terrible conclusion is due to Telltale and not due to George R.R. Martin's world.

    Tales from the Borderlands gets better by the end of the game. With that intro to Episode 2, I don't see how it doesn't grab you. And I'm done with Episode 2 of GoT and I hate everything in it. Apparently the whole point of Game of Thrones is so that the good guys get fucked each and every time. Fuck that shit. That's not good writing, that's just a cop-out to show 'shades of grey.' It gets much worse. Well, George R.R. Martin can't write worth a damn then. People give him money so he can write his terrible books and grow his neckbeard. Have the good guys kick some ass, ok? If I wrote Game of Thrones fanfiction, I would have time travel and one of the families (Starks or something) find Tony Stark and he builds a fuckin' atomic bomb and drop it on Roose Balton's house. What are they going to do then? Fight the Starks with swords? He didn't write the game. Are you playing the game without having read the books or seen the show? That's not too clever. I know he didn't write the game, but he did make the universe for the series. I watched maybe one or two episodes (probably the infamous "red wedding" episode or that one where the little girl finds the dragon or something) and I tried to read the first book. I couldn't make it past one chapter -- it was about as boring as reading an IRS tax booklet and maybe just as exciting. But what I can tell from looking at wikis for the series: 1) The good guys are fucked over each and every time. 2) The bad guys (and the writer) takes immense joy in screwing over the good guys. They get no comeuppance from the good guys at all. 3) Every single good guy character dies. Ned Stark dies. Jon Snow died in season 4 (maybe 5? I don't know I don't watch the show). What's the point of watching/reading if the author is doing this? Eventually, you have no attachment to any character, which is the sign of terrible writing. It's like watching the WWE where Vince McMahon prevents Stone Cold from getting his revenge. Eventually, the fans will wait for their "fuck yeah" moment and it becomes a "fuck you" moment and they throw trash into the ring. George R.R. Martin is Vince McMahon, cackling over you paying him money so he can string his audience along. You want a sixth book?

    I Platinum'ed Assassin's Creed Revelations and actually liked the portal like puzzles they did. I guess I got Assassin's Creed III next (I already did the multiplayer trophies about a year and half ago) so I know it will not be good and pretty much Star Wars: A New Hope.

    I recently Platinum'ed Life Is Strange and Tales from the Borderlands. Life Is Strange is simply incredible. If there's an argument for video games to be a better medium for art, it's there with that game. Tales From The Borderlands was great too -- felt like The Coen Brothers directing Star Wars. Now I'm working on Telltale's Game of Thrones and got done with Episode 1. Woah.

    My 48th Platinum is Assassin's Creed: Revelations. I like it a lot better than I thought and I dug the bits with Altair and even the parts where it turns into Portal. I'm working on Unit 13 next and hoping to Platinum that soon. Just to let you know, Sony will be pulling LittleBigPlanet Marvel content after December 31st. The only content that is trophy related is the Marvel level pack from LBP Vita. Also, GOG.com will stop selling Duke Nukem games on its site after December 31st.

    January 2016 looks to be killing wallets dead and it's not even Christmas yet. This War of Mine comes to PS4, The Witness finally is coming out, The Banner Saga comes out for PS4, and RE 0 HD Remaster.

    Obtained my 47th Platinum trophy with Batman: Arkham Asylum. By the end, I was really hating the combat challenges and some of the predator challenges.
