Are existing edits getting updated with new created moves via steam subscription? Do you have to manually add a lot of moves yourself (I forget if you can even do that to other people's edits you've downloaded)? Am I better off just deleting my roster and starting again?

There was an allegation posted on Twitter on maybe Saturday by someone with about 28 followers saying they were a Russian wrestler and that at his first show in 2017 aged 18, Pete Dunne had slapped him in the face when he got out of the shower, called him a pussy and stolen his underwear so he couldn't get dressed. The only thing he tagged in the tweet was Dunne's own account, and the rest of the twitter was in Russian. Other than being briefly mentioned on that reddit megathread where I saw it, it got so little traction I wouldn't even be able to dig it up again ¯\(°_o)/¯ It feels like the ominous stuff swirling round invoking Bate and Seven's names didn't really coalesce into anything definite enough to judge Dunne for any complicity ZSJ's total silence sure has been pretty fuckin notable though!!

The AKI system has aged badly, the grappling system and the on rails uninterruptible animations/strikes that don't connect wouldn't fly today, and I didn't like that the finishes were usually anticlimactic because you had to telegraph your finisher with a wakeup taunt and it then wasn't reversible. Obviously lots of stuff from those games should have been adopted as standards for the genre though ASPW would have been incredible if it had ever a) had full customisation options or b) been much fun to actually play (too much mashin'). it still looks great in motion today imo. Although it was restrictive I really liked that there were some finishers you could only hit if your guy was crazy hyped or the other guy was groggy, made the matches feel like they could evolve in different ways and you're not just working towards an inevitable Burning Hammer finish in every Kobashi match despite the move being ultra-rare and last resort-y IRL. Also submission chaining!

I did Shiva OK with just Cloud and Aerith (after thinking I was meant to do it solo and faceplanting hard), keeping your distance at the right times and popping Ifrit and Limit Breaks when you can should do it Rude was kind of like a heavyweight version of Ricochet lol, those extra fights were fairly enjoyable, moreso Reno I would hope they'd do carryover like the Witcher DLC, where you keep what you've got if you played the first one, but they give you a default suitably leveled loadout to start if not

That boss fight is amazing! This game is fun and really beautiful to look at, although there is also a lot of padding and weird pacing issues, and quite a lot of the female characters seem to be voiced by teenage restaurant greeters Combat is great imo

I rewatched most of Mania 19 today and good God there is a concerted effort of will on Brock Lesnar's part to not just straight up lose consciousness and die in the ring during the post-match there, what a tawdry episode Between Lesnar, Angle and the state Steve Austin was in, if ever there was a Mania you'd want a fly-on-the-wall WWE 24 style documentary on that, would be up there
