  1. They could have put a date at the end of that.
  2. Pretty surprised to see Owens in the lead against last year's winner. I don't watch NJPW, so I can't comment specifically on Nakamura, but Owens... well, he certainly didn't have a BAD year, but I wouldn't have pegged him as a contender to win, and I assumed Nakamura was. Was Nak's 2015/16 noticeably worse than his 2014/15?
  3. Digging up this old post to say I finally found a solution. Instructions are here, but basically you just install and run the Windows Firefox with Wine.
  4. I see more Deadpool t-shirts/car decals/etc than any other Marvel out DC character these days, even before the movie made roughly all the money ever. Thing is, that comics store owner was completely right, assuming he was talking before the movie came out. Deadpool's mainstream recognizability has presumably taken a big jump now. I suspect Fowler is falling victim to confirmation bias. Or he just hangs out in really shitty places.
  5. Yeah, I was going to post that it should be Sheamus losing to Dave Mastiff, dammit.
  6. You do realize Sami is the guy he's up against this round?
  7. I have, but I don't remember McCready at all.
  8. I haven't (none of my characters have seen any reason to hire this McCready guy, not when there's a lineup of competent people willing to travel with them for free) but I think I know where the interchange is. Thanks.
  9. I've read that you can have up to like 30 people without mods by using the right combination of armor, charisma stats and chems. I have a couple of settlements with 23 folks. Mostly use the excess people to set up supply chains. So it really does count temporary boosts to Charisma? How does that work? Do people start wandering off when your Charisma drops? Or does it only check at certain times? I've gotten my nerd character's base Charisma up to 8, and still haven't seen any increases, so I'm wondering if I need to do something to get it to register the higher value. On an unrelated question, does anybody know where to find deathclaw eggs? One of my other characters has a recipe she wants to try.
  10. It was on Netflix (Canada) not that long ago, but a quick search suggests it's not there any more.
  11. So my level 13 character decided the Museum of Witchcraft would be a fun place to spend Hallowe'en night. Good times.
  12. It gets higher based on your charisma So the max without charisma is 10 - you can get it to 21 before the game even starts to factor in charisma bonus on armor or items I would think item bonuses wouldn't count for this, as it would be strange for the size limit to change as you change clothes. I've slowly brought my nerd character's Charisma from 1 to 7, as he grows into the role he was woefully unsuited for when Preston thrust it on him. May have to bump it higher... Thanks for the answers, both of you.
  13. So do settlements top out at about a dozen people?
  14. You're not a synth. ...or ARE YOU?
  15. Incidentally, does anybody else find the selection of who got a bye to the second round kind of arbitrary? I mean, if we're ranking Irish WWE performers (and why not?) Becky seems pretty clearly on top, and I have difficulty seeing an argument for Balor over Sheamus. But here Sheamus and Becky are fighting for their lives in their first round, while Balor gets a free ride.
  16. I really need to watch some Kimber Lee so I can vote for Sheamus in good conscience.
  17. So I discovered something this game needs: a better way of selecting saves to delete. Running out of space is a pain.
  18. And hey, it turns out you can blow up a Super Mutant Suicider by shooting the arm that's carrying the bomb! Did everybody else already know this? Yep. Only way to take those bastards out. And here I've been desperately shooting at their heads or torsos like a chump. In other news, I was just walking down the street to The Slog when I came across a three-way battle between an Assaultron and a Mr. Gutsy, three Bloatflies, and a Legendary Yao Guai. Chaotic enough, but then an Alpha Deathclaw charged into the fray! The Yuao Guai and Deathclaw were unsurprisingly the last two standing, with the Yao Guai prevailing with just a sliver of health left (which I quickly dispatched). Fun times. The best part is that while I was watching the fight, "Curie idolizes you" randomly popped up on my screen. Does she like it when you refrain from attacking hostile creatures or something?
  19. I think this was actually a feature added in with the last patch. There was something in it about making robotics expert useful in combat. I think that means they added the ability to hack hostile robots. I know you couldn't do that in Fallout 3, making the robot-hacking perk near-uselesss in that game. But I can't imagine that the scope thing is deliberate. And hey, it turns out you can blow up a Super Mutant Suicider by shooting the arm that's carrying the bomb! Did everybody else already know this?
  20. Found a fun bug: if you use a weapon with a scope to zoom in on a robot, you can hack it as if you were actually standing next to it.
  21. Fucking Deadpool. I feel like Antoine Ego in Ratatouille. How can he be popular? I thought we were fucking done with Liefeld decades ago.
  22. The League of Nations have a secret headquarters with a little table where they all stand around with their various trophies and with their flags hanging in the background. They're awesome.
