    The big thing from his manager, Alex Davis, that raises a red flag for me is when he said, "he's been conditioned not to" let go of a hold. I mean...did Davis and Bustamante condition him to fight that way? Or do they mean, that's just the mentality he had growing up impoverished on the streets and having to fend for himself?

    Heroes for Hire would basically be like Burn Notice but with super heroes, put it on USA. Have Cage and Rand basically be the bottom feeding odd couple trying to cash in on the superhero wave, realizing they can do good work and help people. But they both have chips on their shoulders for whatever reason.

    After he got caught cheating in his last fight, this was basically Palhares' third strike. Never is a long time, so even with Palhares I would say, "never say never." I think even with Nate Marquardt they said he'd never fight in the UFC again either. Also Karo Parisyan and they did bring him back one more time. For ratings, the event did 638,000 viewers. Which surprised me because that means Shields/Maia did a higher rating than Teixeira/Bader (avg. 539,000 viewers).

    Not real muscles anyway. He's plastic and metal. Unless he's a Skrull. I almost kind of want it to be something else because it seems LMD is too obvious at this point.

    So we saw Graviton's origin here. But SHIELD can't really fight Graviton later. He's kind of too big of a threat for them. They would need a team of Avengers to fight Graviton. Also, Coulson had trouble with muscle memory in this episode. Well Phil, that's cause you ain't got no muscles.

    Sort of a weird night. The main event was about what I expected, but it was still terrible. Shields striking game has always been weak but it has been exposed even more since coming into the UFC. Kim/Silva was fun at least and the finish was amazing. There is just something not right with Palhares upstairs and we've all known it for a long time. I think its pretty clear now that a lot of fighters previously got around the steroid issue by cycling off of test. Case in point, Palhares.

    The opening shot of the movie that goes on unbroken for about 15-20 minutes was pretty impressive. You almost never see that anymore.

    Except, of course, it's Gatchaman in name only... Watched the first episode of Kill La Kill. DEFINITELY at least the must see show of the fall season. LOL yup, boy was I thrown for a loop after watching that drug trippy first episode.

    I can kind of see what Natural is saying. When I played the demo at E3 it did have a bit of a different look than City to me. It looked somewhat grainier if that makes any sense. But also Gotham City looks very different now. It's Christmas Eve and it's taller and more verticle. I mean the GCPD building itself looks pretty massive and multi-tiered.

    Liz Carmouche is a marine and also main evented a UFC PPV in a title fight. I just see her fight with Davis as more relevant in terms of rankings now than Kennedy vs. Natal.

    You mean like this? I think something like that would be cool, but logistically in these games that are already jam-packed, it seems impossible. Basically it means all these alternate skins would need brand new character animations and rendering. So it would be like how Catwoman, Robin, Nightwing or Batman in City all play completely differently from each other. Now would I have liked if Batman Beyond had his rocket boots instead of using the grappler? Yes. But wouldn't it be kind of cheap if you could just use rocket boots the whole time? Would the game even work if I just had rocket boots I could use whenever I want? I think at least it was cool that they gave the Beyond skin the wings instead of a cape. I just see it as, if there is a design or particular version of Batman you really like or would like to play as, well now you can look that way in the game.
