Team Alpha Male going 0-6 in UFC title fights since 2011 should be fun.

Fighters need to stop over-training. If they aren't making it to the cage, they aren't training properly.

Barao is now the official bantamweight champion.

The Marvel Studios thread (2008-)

I kind of see Guardians as an experiment anyway. I think after all this time, Marvel has earned the right to experiment a little. If it doesn't do well, they can just go back to what works.- 4,313 replies

Look at the fight in which Frankie Edgar won the title. I thought that was a gift decision for Edgar. In fact, the fight getting scored on one card 50-45 for Edgar was a joke. If Edgar hadn't gotten the nod there, would he have gotten a rematch? Probably not. Would he have been champion at all in his career? Just saying, Edgar got the title on a crappy decision. Such is life. Also he deserves it for how annoying he and his corners are after fights he loses.

It's Chuck Lorre, I feel like he and CBS will try to keep the show on another 8 years. But I agree in principle. Still it's fun to see how far it's come. I went to tapings of the first season before it really broke out. They were easy to get into at that time. I remember being worried when the strike happened since the show just started and a lot of shows got hurt or killed as a result. Luckily, the show did well enough to hang around and it only got more popular later.

2014 UPCOMING MOVIES/CASTING/TERRIBLE PROJECTS...
TheVileOne replied to RIPPA's topic in MOVIES & TV
Samuel Jackson is a whore. Wave some money in front of him and he'll do anything. Oh well, at least he's honest about it. -
Just for me personally, the show has kind of reached a rocky third act. So I hope they don't try to keep on the show longer and over-extend it. I think it's a little absurd that HIMYM has been on as long as it has. All the main conflicts have kind of worked themselves out. Feel like the show should probably end soon though.

Wouldn't surprise me if WB Int. has WB Montreal continue doing prequels like Origins while Rocksteady perhaps finishes out the real Arkham trilogy. They'll basically make this like their Assassin's Creed series. Prequels, midquels, and such.

If the only weakness to a dragon is a black arrow, why did they think molten gold could beat it?

The writing with Penny has gotten frustrating. I think they need to wrap the show up already. All the basic issues have kind of been dealt with. Wolowitz has moved out of his mother's place and got married to a decent woman. Sheldon actually has a girlfriend that he is as committed to as a person like Sheldon can expect and he event went as far as saying he would have sex with her. Raj can talk to women now and is on the verge of coming out of the closet.

Grizzly, is it on CBS or CBS Sports?

Recommend TV Shows Not From The States. The Sequel

Was really sad to learn that Ripper Street is cancelled. Really love that cast and the setting. -
That's why this relationship isn't working anymore. Leonard is a doormat to Penny that's basically just grateful a girl as hot as her is dating him. When Sheldon got a hot assistant who was into him and really a better match for him, he's still in this destructive relationship with Penny. She gets angry at him because he was hesitant to accept her drunken marriage proposal, after she got drunk and married a douchebag in Las Vegas? And every time they have problems it's all because of Penny's issues and insecurities. This relationship with Penny has always been a ticking time bomb. The fact is, if you look at it, Leonard has a lot more going on for himself than Penny does. He's got to stop being the doormat for all of Penny's drama.

The thing is, Penny is a raging alcoholic now and no one really cares.

Those images look a lot like the promotional images for the 2002 movie. I mean they did basically switch back to the exact same costume.

Watched the fight this morning on Fight Pass. Stream worked great and there were really no issues. Considering we're getting these first two fight cards for the free trial, don't see the big deal about paying $9.99 for all these type of fights plus all the other content and features. This is considering that ordering a replay of an event or another PPV costs five times as much. Decent little international fight card. Kawajiri had a good debut, and Lim/Saffiedine was a great fight. Lim's striking defense looked poor. With his size and range, he probably could've beaten Saffiedine if not for his poor defense.

Hence why I made the post. I don't dislike the guy or anything, but it seems like he builds entire arcs and subplots around trolling fans.

Season premiere of Sherlock: Does Steven Moffat get off on trolling fans or something?

Pretty much this. It's not at all entertaining in a bad way.

I still can't fathom how this movie got made. It sounds like the final product isn't anywhere close to what was pitched. But the thing about the actors learning their lines phonetically didn't surprise me. In some parts, it looked like the Japanese cast members didn't have any idea about what they were saying coming from their own mouths. They should've considered Japanese Americans actors or stronger English speakers. One fallacy on the article though. My media screening of the film was about a week before the release which can be pretty standard. Sometimes it happens the Monday or Tuesday the week before its release which makes it tougher, and that's for movies that aren't even getting bad buzz or reviews.
