  1. It's kind of expected at this point Glen's the next to go, but man it's going to be incredibly sad. It's surely going to lead to Maggie going completely psycho at this point. She'll lose her dad, sister, and husband. That'll make any sane person go off the rails, especially in their setting. And yeah, I like Glen/Maggie so it'll suck when they're split up.
  2. According to DA MELTZ~! sales were way up. That is due to it being on PS4 and Xbox One, which was to be expected.
  3. Knowing Rusev was smoking Okada in this round, I gave a sympathy vote to Okada. He strikes me as one of those guys who will have a better showing if not next year then the year after. But I'll be happy to see Rusev moving on, he had a helluva year. Like you guys need another reason, but his match with Henry was unforgettable as well. Mark was on point with the pro USA vibe, and his crying at the end due to Rusev was tremendous.
  4. This is the best argument I've seen for Harper so far. If I didn't vote already this would be sure to make me think a while before doing so. I still would have voted Nakamura, but I'm glad this is relatively close.
  5. Natural, If you liked the Captain America movie then you'll love Agent Carter. She's a straight up badass and it's fun TV. Shield since their return has been pretty fun too. There's a focus on Skye's discovery that she's an inhuman but they're already shifting over to other stories. Good times.
  6. WWE on Draft Kings? I finally found a reason to check it out. I can't wait to get a SHIPLOAD of mone...I mean prize packs!
  7. Moe, I'm really liking Okada but since you watch tons more NJ than I do I could go for reasons to vote Okada over Rusev. I like what I saw of him, but I'm not sure if it's enough.
  8. This is the easiest pick of the round. Cena's been good when he wants to be, he's going to get destroyed by Sami.
  9. Years ago Game Show Network would air Gong Show and for a guy born in '82 (me) Gene was always a highlight.
  10. It'd be fun to try 5 Star Wrestling. For $25 I want to wait for it to be on sale/free. But then there's that part of me that's thinking to get it before they get sued to high hell. Hmm...decisions, decisions...
  11. Tyson and Natalya are just happy Tyson's on tv for a change. That entire inset promo was outstanding. So glad they're getting the chance to do cool shit like this.
  12. Couldn't find the match, but the WeeLC match against El Torito was worlds better than expected. Aside from the bells and whistles that were part of it Hornswoggle was great. He seems like a pretty nice guy, and for what he does it's enjoyable. Plus, he reminds me of when he was paired with Finlay and Finlay rules.
  13. Was always a fan of the phrase "The bigger the hair, the closer to God" Going by that she could stand on her toes and would be peeking up at the pearly gates. Shifting to Thursday those Amazon movies look pretty damn good. Not sure if they're must-see (still basking in the 36th Chamber awesomeness) but if so I'm down with recording them.
  14. More and more it seems Glen is becoming the conscience of the show now. Given how this show is he'll likely get killed off in the season finale.
  15. They really should consider Motorhead for that. Playing for HHH at WM twice, having two memorable themes for him, and being fucking Lemmy should be more than enough reason to get him in.
  16. I tried it out of curiosity. Had to mute it as it thought I said something and would say it's not a valid entry. You choose an option, get the answer, and then get a couple ads. Follow that with promoting a show, then more ads. Yeah, this hotline is garbage, and with no Mean Gene to promote it it's total garbage. That said, this is the best the William J. Myers Pavillion has looked on TV. The video tron is a very welcome addition, and it was a fun show. Can't wait for episodes 3 and 4 from there.
  17. Let's take out his views on gays and politics out of the equation for a minute. And while it did happen in the match, maybe even take out the times he injured somebody. If we're going strictly on how he performs in the ring would he have had a better chance? People like his matches and he's popular with different groups. Would that be enough to pick him over Cavernario?
  18. Eva, at the time he had a really strong following in that community. It didn't strike me as a sound of disdain, more like he was very surprised by that. I don't recall anything being said since then, but his anti-Obama stuff is recent. If people are going to harp on his views, a better case could come from his appearance on the Talkin' Shop podcast.
  19. Am I the only one who's a bit annoyed by the "Vote [this guy], fuck [this other guy]" posts? Not geared at any particular thread, but why there's this need to try and bully people into voting for somebody I don't know. Vote for whoever, state your case and have fun with it. It's all about opinion anyway. Sometimes it's the popular opinion, other times it's not. But it sure seems like a lot of "Your opinion's wrong!". We're encouraged to say why we vote for somebody, but can you blame those that just vote and don't say anything? Yes, I know this is how March Madness normally is, but does it really have to be? It just brings out the worst in people sometimes, and it's only the sweet 16.
  20. This is the ultimate dream matchup. The first couple minutes would just be them trying to outcrazy each other. Some way, somehow this needs to be accomplished. But this thread is going to be so entertaining by Wednesday.
  21. Not going to say much else other than this thread is going to get really ugly by Wednesday, I can feel it. If AJ wins then it's only going to get worse.
  22. From what I've seen of Gulak, his matches left me going "Damn, he's really really good!" I love what he does. But to go off of what Matt D said, Sami makes you feel things. For me it's that feeling I had before I knew of insider information and finding everything on the internet. It's that feeling of being 100% into everything with not thoughts of "great spot" or "great performance" When Sami won the title it was just pure elation and there were definite feels. Last time that happened was MAYBE in 1996 before I signed up for AOL. I might be one guy, but if Sami could get that kind of response from me then that is a guy worth paying attention to. And the Cesaro matches will forever be etched in my brain solely based on how much intensity he had in those matches. Sami is the obvious vote.
  23. I voted Honma due to fucking up in his match against Lesnar. That, and it'd be swell if he beat Lesnar AND Rusev in this. It's the Cinderella story that dreams of made of.
  24. I like Ambrose a lot, I really do. But in the short time so far of seeing Nakamura I can't imagine not voting for him. He is extremely captivating to watch, from his entrance to his matches. It's no wonder he's one of the biggest stars NJPW has. Before voting I'm going to need a strong case for Ambrose. As it is I can't say Ambrose did enough for me to pick him. Part of it is wonky booking, but there's still that something missing.
  25. It does get overwhelming. I watch Raw/SD, LU and NXT, Impact and ROH. And I recently found Lucha Azteca so there's that. I have NJPW World and need to catch up on that. Toss in regular shows/El Rey movies on DVR and it's hard to keep track of everything. We're planning on being parents in a couple years and I can't imagine watching half of this once we have a kid. It sucks because I don't want any of these to go away so much as I want to gain more time to watch everything.
