Tim Burton has made one good film: Ed Wood (which is actually great). Everything else is horrible. Pee Wee's Big Adventure is only enjoyable because it's Pee Wee Herman. Uwe Boll could have directed it and it would still be the same movie. More American Graffiti is better than American Graffiti.

This movie is going to be fucking awesome. If the end credits roll and Are You Experienced or Hey, Joe is playing, I will probably weep like a child. My understanding is they couldn't get the rights to any of Hendrix's music, so it's all generic Hedrixy-sounding music throughout the movie.

The Sadist is a great movie (and almost a great film) and Arch Hall Jr is terrific in it. Blew me away when I first saw it.

I hope not, because that's not what I was aiming at. To be fair, I think Bryan is well trained enough to kick someone's ass. I was thinking more along the lines of the guys that are presented as badasses or someone we're supposed to find believable, but obviously aren't. Punk looks like a guy who could kick someone's ass in a bar fight. He's not all muscled up or anything but he just looks like a guy who'd bite your nose off or pull some other ridiculously terrible thing to win a fight. He looks scuzzy tough if that makes any sense. And I've met D-Bry and while he's a short guy, he's not super small next to an average person. He's built pretty well. CM Punk as Bobby Hill? I accept that. I see Punk as a Gribble type. Pocket sand!
