  1. Dixie's hype for Lashley vs. Roode consisted of being very excited that @fightbobby was facing @fightbobby - so beyond that Storm is coming joke for BFG 2014, she really doesn't have the patience to look at even tweets let alone e-mails.
  2. Super-fun show there. Loved everything but the battle royal, and Nia Jax's debut. Her gear wasn't flattering in any way and she came off as having more talent than Tapa, but far less "it factor" than Kong. http://jayreviewsthings.blogspot.com/2015/10/nxt-10-14-15.html Screens - http://www.imagebam.com/gallery/gps1q4cwka0umv9l4tylpy5u0e345eul
  3. The placement of Big Bubba and Booty Man is something else. "I want him in the game until he dies playing" And is then taken to a "local medical facility" for treatment which will "no doubt be a trending topic".
  4. Wrestling Observer Radio was just hilarious with Dave talking about how impressed he was with "Impact's new set".
  5. *wrinkles brow in confusion* Seth is a chickenshit heel champ, he's supposed to lose non-title matches Chickenshit heel losing tons of non-title matches can be okay for an IC-Level guy - not the World champ. Jesus, even Honky Tonk did fewer pinfall jobs and he was the IC Champ.
  6. Very blah show overall. Cena vs. Dolph was legit good, as was some of Corporate Kane's stuff backstage. The whole Rusev/Lana thing was a disaster here. He lost to Ryback in a nothing match and had his balls cut off in a Steph-level verbal beatdown by Summer. Main event was an ungodly clusterfuck and of course, Seth lost to Kane even with a billion people helping him. http://jayreviewsthings.blogspot.com/2015/10/wwe-raw-10-12-15.html Screens - http://www.imagebam.com/gallery/2yzl95vhrlomdkfwil7q0lhfetd3pjrs
  7. I guess he didn't want to risk losing his mask against Rey, so he'll take some All Elite work, then go back to CMLL and maybe take Atlantis's mask. Shocked AAA didn't have him locked up if they wanted to build up more of the Rey vs. Myzteziz feud. Thank God he can't use that goofball name anywhere else. I love the epic music here transitioning into a wacky Mexican cowboy song.
  8. Or they go the Bill Watts route and say "yeah, as you can see here, STORM JUST COULDN'T HANG IN TNA. HE COULDN'T TAKE THE PRESSURE IN THE BIG LEAGUES. That's why he only held our World Title for a week!".
  9. Yeah. Lashley has never been a good promo, but even by his standards, that was dreadful. I did adore Aries to no end for verbally putting himself over not only EC3, but EVERY TNA HALL OF FAMER prior to 2015.
  10. So this was just an absolute clusterfuck in theory. It wound up being a solid little tournament, even if it came out of nowhere if you were just going by Impact shows. Drew vs. Bram was fun minus the weird mid-match conversation. Brooke vs. Gail was excellent, and set up a future Knockouts title match logically too. Spud vs. Grado was just awful as a comedy match, and worse when you think it's part of a World title tourney. Madison vs. Kong was fun, and Anderson vs. Lashley over-delivered. Aries vs. EC3 was perfect for what it needed to be, and kudos to Aries for not even being signed and still finding a way to verbally put himself over on their former world champion. Screens - Don't get confused, okay? Go Knockouts Go http://www.imagebam.com/gallery/nmr5zt5n17vvb9jpk08g2j6oadcvhgm4
  11. They're competing in a match in Japan soon (or maybe they already have). Terry Funk might just retire by 2020.
  12. This was one of those Raws that refused to end most of the time. I enjoyed some of the Kane-Seth stuff, none of anything involving Steph. Really didn't need her burying New Day, could have done without the patronizing cancer stuff beyond giving airtime to survivors, and I'm glad they gave Sasha a win in her hometown. Main event was a thing - kind of a rise to glory for New Day. Shame it happened on a night where it was made clear the rug could be pulled out from under them at any time. http://jayreviewsthings.blogspot.com/2015/10/wwe-raw-10-5-15.html Screens - How to Kill an Act in 30 Seconds #divasrevolution http://www.imagebam.com/gallery/936cgyau1753mt3479cav9259g7o82yi
  13. Pretty sad show to watch. They went for a TNA Greatest Hits theme and you kinda got the 65 year old rockers who can kinda play, and some that can't. Kong-Kim was depressing, while the X Title and Tag Title matches at least had some life to them. Everett should get triple pay for taking that stupid bump off the X in this era of TNA. Roode vs. Lashley was technically good, but impossible to care about. EY-Angle was just a clusterfuck. The World title match was an absolute farce too and really didn't help anyone - even if Matt's celebration at the end was good and Big John's backstage bump was hilarious. http://jayreviewsthings.blogspot.com/2015/10/tna-bound-for-glory-2015.html Screens - http://www.imagebam.com/gallery/5d6928w4sadag6aw76gk253g7wr1v1r1
  14. I like that the catalog photos are just Mick and Colette posing in front of their house, but since it's black and white, it almost works out just fine.
  15. I can imagine Stephanie as Queen Beryl quite easily.
  16. Well, you'd have fallen asleep with the New Day match. Seriously, it's one of TWO MATCHES they actually built up on TV and THAT'S what they gave us.
  17. Show's new gigantic knee brace sure seemed like a sign that he's more banged up than anyone figured going in.
  18. Opening tag was fine. I liked Rusev blaming Sheamus, but didn't like both guys really looking weak by the end of this - Sheamus for losing and Rusev for getting kicked to death. Loved the Jericho-Owens presentation. It was perfect, and the match was just what it needed to be. If they'd done this exact thing on PPV, they'd have fully rebuilt Owens in one night. Dudleys vs. New Day was a dud - just so unsatisfying. LOVED LOVED LOVED BROCK-SHOW! Just a perfect match. Seth vs. Cena was their usual good-to-great match. Seth is really going to regret that cage dive. It was literally a nothing spot. He just popped up, ate an AA, and then took a chokeslam and tombstone from Kane. THIS MAN IS SOMEHOW THE WORLD CHAMPION. http://jayreviewsthings.blogspot.com/2015/10/wwe-live-from-madison-square-garden_3.html Screens - #divasrevolution http://www.imagebam.com/gallery/jzrwzs1ckcrr8p2oom5erxktxux16gyq
  19. That is fucking awesome and I will surely buy it when it's on sale.
  20. The opening Everyone Talks segment droned on even longer than Raw because of how out of nowhere everything in it was. LOLed at Roode talking about how important the KOTM Title was. Also loved Dixie looking forward to Bobby vs. Bobby on Twitter...by tweeting about the wrong Bobby. Can she please just wait one second to see who she is writing to ever? The X division 3-way was short, but super-fun. Lee, Z, and Ciampa shined brightly. LOLed so hard at EY eating mid-card finishers. It was a fine blowoff for that...and then of course it led to HIM BEING ANNOUNCED AS KURT ANGLE'S RETURN OPPONENT ON PPV. This was a really stupid way to get there. I did love Anderson saying he was so glad to finally find God though - that ruled. Main event sucked. http://www.f4wonline.com/tna-news/tna-impact-9-30-tv-results-matt-hardy-ec3-tomasso-ciampa-bfg-go-home-show-198811 Screens - OH NO, I'VE BEEN...slightly grazed by something! #knockoutsrevolution http://www.imagebam.com/gallery/vyrwefof06sn40ploxg9qwyucrp4ffwa
  21. I still have about three blister packs full of Orbit thanks to my Black Friday purchases from 2013. So beyond getting a ton of $5, I also got enough gum to last several years - VIVA TNA!
