  1. They actually do have a camera man who is instructed to just shoot her ass. That man has a fine job.
  2. They've apparently been taking some of it down over time. I've sideloaded this onto my Fire TV Stick and it works really well - although after just hooking my laptop up through HDMI, I've now got a far better solution to watching and recording stuff full screen.
  3. The Toukon Retsuden are really fun pick up and play games that gameplay-wise, have held up well on the PS1. The N64 pad just doesn't feel right for them though. It's amazing to see these WWE releases and realize that they're running on A PS1 GAME ENGINE, and not even a good one. This engine was used for budget-level Japanese games and the B-level WWF games for the time. Toukon Retsuden's engine does a far better job simulating matches - although WK14 did finally brings things up to a mostly-solid level. I can have fun, compelling matches in that and I would recommend downloading as much as possible now, because 2K has taken down the servers for NBA 2K14, so this one might not be too far behind.
  4. The opening tag team match was fun, but nothing must-see beyond Nagata's crazy-eye armbar. Cody Hall got some new gear and shined nicely in the Bullet Club B team tag. He's improving rapidly and will be really interesting to see in a year. RPG Vice vs. the Young Bucks had so many little old school bits in it that were mixed up and modernized. The heel champs tried to leave, but it was a ploy for a superkick party and an attempt to get another kind of cheap escape via a countout. The Bucks also did the old Rock 'N Roll Express bit of Robert tossing Ricky into the corner for a tag that I remember Cornette loving on one of the Wrestling Gold SMW compilations. RPG Vice winning was a surprise, but they got the titles on the new team here and gave them instant credibility. Anderson and Gallows vs. The Kingdom was less a match and more of a showcase for Maria's ass. The entire psychology of this being about Maria hurt The Kingdom a bit, but Taven still shined as the speester of the team whle Bennett was more of a powerhouse. They really made Maria out to be a star here and she was great on the apron faking out Karl with her facial expressions. The Okada DVD ad was hilarious, so hopefully that goes on NJPW World at some point soon. The Nakamura 6-man tag was very good and full of fun stuff. It was hard to not love Makabe and Ishii finding any excuse to beat the Hell out of each other. Goto getting the win was a surprise, but sets up what should be a great IC title program between Goto and Nakamura. The Tanahashi tag had some of the best-looking intros of the show thanks to Tanahashi's lighting and Saku's fan with a Saku belt. Saku took a beating, but most of what he did was pure holds and striking only entered the picture at the very end. I loved Shibata lifting the rash guard up to kick him, but Saku being so awesome that he managed to still reverse the figure four with it over his head. It was a silly visual, but it worked. In the end, Saku got a big win with a Kimura and Shibata had to ice it down. The pre-match Okada-Fale video showed the fall of Okada, while the match itself was alla bout his redemption. Okada struggled, but eventually won after the big elbow, a pair of dropkicks, the hardest tombstone to ever execute in the history of wrestling, and then the Rainmaker. Fale's nerve hold at nearly 5 AM EST was a bit much, but other than that, this was a fun match thanks to Okada. Okada came off like a character babyface with his busted-up cheek being almost a Foley-Orton moment where he went from being a pretty boy to a tough guy who happens to be pretty. The video for Ibushi vs. AJ told you about Ibushi's rise in the past year from DDT to New Japan, while in that same time, AJ has conquered New Japan and even won the title right away against Okada. They didn't linger on Okada, but reminded you of what he did adn that played perfectly into the close of the show. After a classic match set up with AJ as the too-cocky heel challenger that could easily lose due to his arrogance, Okada attacked him and declared that he's going for what was taken from him one year ago. He ended the show with a Rainmaker and a pose while confetti fell from the sky and he had AJ's title draped across his shoulder. The before and after told a find story, as did the match in the middle. Here, Ibushi shined as a main eventer for the future just like he did as a semi-main eventer at Wrestle Kingdom 9. He lost there, which when combined with AJ being too cocky, set up a perfect scenario where Ibushi can win and Nakamura wants a shot because he's not only IC Champion, but he beat Ibushi at the biggest show of the year. This match didn't have as many German suplexes, but had far sicker ones. Including a straightjacket german by Ibushi, and a flipover German by AJ on the floor. I loved the bit close to the end of the match where Ibushi goes for a kick and AJ slaps him around - but in doing so, he allows Ibushi to jump up with the good leg and knee him right in the face. It was a perfect hope spot. Ibushi's look of despair with just his body language and eventually facial expressions during the Calf Killer were something special. In the end, he had the title won - but allowed himself to be distracted by Kenny. If he hadn't been, then the Phoenix Splash would've hit. Instead, it was turned into a Phoenix Clash with AJ catching him and nailing the move perfectly for the win. AJ's celebration was short-lived, but set up the latter-half of 2015 with another exciting AJ-Okada feud. Thumbs way up for this show. It was better than WrestleMania in many ways, and nearly on par with Wrestle Kingdom 9. http://jayreviewsthings.blogspot.com/2015/04/njpw-invasion-attack-2015.html Screen Highlights Part 1- Screens part 1 - http://www.imagebam.com/gallery/1qalp3z2h71jifcgw1u27p312mefxinz Screens part 2 - http://www.imagebam.com/gallery/kfxxo269gd7s2he17z6iy1net619l2y5 Screens part 3- http://www.imagebam.com/gallery/eyve6kcl5lpppkg8p9v2w76kchxlfcyt
  5. AJ's retirement is now a top trend on Bing.
  6. The only thing that could affect a long-term change for the women's division on the main roster is for every single part of it to be like NXT...which is really bizarre because it's a WWE-produced program. They've got the blueprint they should be using, and instead of going with say a tire that's round, they're trying to gain forward momentum driving square tires.
  7. #givedivaschance MEANS NOTHING. They're giving time to the wrong people and the divas are still treated like eye candy. It's not like WWE went from models wrestling to AJW all of a sudden. Instead of getting two minutes in a pissbreak match, they get 5 or more. It's nothing compared to the average NXT show's use of women as prominent and important characters on the show.
  8. Glad to see her get out of wrestling (even if it's just until this Punk stuff blows over) with her health intact and her life in check. When you consider just how many people are far worse off after wrestling than before it, she's a really inspirational story. Started from essentially nothing, homeless, got trained, and got just the right breaks. She went from just being in the crowd for Lethal's matches to being a top WWE character just four years later. Now, her star has definitely faded in terms of TV time over the years, but she still had "it" and can just do whatever she wants now. Once she made that 'AJ-Brooks" site and got that name out there, it was pretty clear that she had some post-wrestling plans and it's really surprising that she came back at all with the Punk suit. I guess that's something we're not going to know about for a while - was it just done to prevent things from being worse for Punk? It couldn't have been all that fun for her with all that going on, and maybe it's just all that stuff that got her to leave. Either way, she had an excellent WWE run and can make some good money on the autograph scene - and I can see her doing really nice on PWTees too.
  9. That's in the gallery. As for the 4/3 show - They debuted new wacky hand-drawn graphics for the show that were hilariously bad. Then they talked about this being the first EY-Roode match...before recapping the other ones. EY and Roode started the "bell to bell" show with talking - and not even good talking. They had probably their best match yet with EY kind of cheating to win with the leg brace and taking the ref out, but I just can't get excited about their matches. They've had too many and no matter how many good wrinkles they add to this feud, it's not doing anything for me. Wolves cut horrible promos to surrender the tag titles. I did like them placing a belt in a corner and bowing to it, but these men need a manager badly. Gail-Love was a pretty good match greatly hurt by SUB-RAW LEVEL COMMENTARY. Wacky Ghost Asylum/Revolution skit amused me. Bram vs. Magnus was fine in highlight form, but dragged on and made little sense at times in real-time. Lashley vs. Kurt was fantastic. This might've been even better than their first match, and was better than anything other than the main event at WrestleMania. I didn't like the shoulder up finish though. They did it throughout the whole thing, which makes the referee look really bad since that means he wasn't looking at the right part of the body for any part of the count. Still, it was a must-see match and well-worth going out of your way to see. The rest of the show is quite skippable, however. http://jayreviewsthings.blogspot.com/2015/04/tna-impact-wrestling-4-3-15.html Screens - http://www.imagebam.com/gallery/6pws1yf0k5xw09h979ohtpmfdwrjgl9n
  10. Now I want Jake Roberts DLC for Yoshi's Wooly World.
  11. Dr. Kaye Fabian also helped the Headshrinkers adapt to American customs in WWF Magazine.
  12. He didn't - it had "Title Match" on it and "Titty Master" became a meme out of it.
  13. Really enjoyed the Roman interview. Naomi-Nattie was short and sweet, as was Nattie's neckline. Cena's U.S. Title challenge is so great. Kurt Angle answering this challenge would be a fun little callback to Cena's debut...ain't gonna happen though.THIS IS RUSEV COUNTRY! THIS IS RUSEV WORLD! Everything with Cena and Rusev ruled. Ditto the whole Bryan-Sheamus thing. Barrett stole the show on commentary and the match itself gave Sheamus a time to shine as a badass heel. I love his new entrance presentation. His spotlight and Celtic God of War theme combo work well and he added some new moves to his offense. The blood was a surprise and if this had been the Raw main event, they'd have solidified the IC Title as a main event-level title. SD is usually skippable, but this week's show as a must-watch. http://jayreviewsthings.blogspot.com/2015/04/wwe-smackdown-4-2-15.html Screens - http://www.imagebam.com/gallery/nvwni13v9m7tzqctepig0vy1as56o9cb
  14. THERE ARE NOW MEAN GENE O MANIA SHIRTS FROM THE HOGAN WORKOUT SKITS! Also, NOAH merch on PWTees.
  15. He thought it was on the house for the star.
  16. I just don't understand that move. Roman's been watching some Chris Hero. Now I've got one more move to give him in the games - cool!
  17. Sting's network-exclusive promo was just that he doesn't know what the future holds, but he's willing to do whatever. Thus an angle with Bo Dallas and STEVE. Well, he's not retired at least. Not sure if this is better or worse than losing to Magnus.
  18. Loved the opening Heyman and Steph stuff. You really can't go wrong with Steph being completely smarmy, and thus only playing one character in a segment while Heyman says stuff and Brock alternates being jolly hearing about suplex and angry hearing about a title loss. Dolph-Bryan was fine, but never really got a solid flow to it. It went from first gear to finishing sequences and then A MOHAWKED SHEAMUS CAME DOWN AND KICKED ASS. HOF vid was fine. Kalisto WON HIS RAW DEBUT! "NEW! DAY SUCKS!" got over big, and Neville's hype vid was fantastic. Bait and switch for the title match leading to a beatdown of all men on Earth by Brock was great. Byron's commentary further killed Stardust-Mizdow and didn't help NEVILLE'S DEBUT with a swank new cape. Neville destroyed Axelmania! RUSEV...MAYBE NOT AKA Ambrose faced Cena in a good little US Title match that like the IC Title match, didn't really get rolling too far before they just did finishers. Dean lost him on a sunset bomb, and Cena no-sold it anyway before doing an STF, getting locked in a better one and then winning after several AAs. Divas tag was a thing. Cole was diagnosed with "a cervical fracture" a week after Perro Aguayo Jr. died. Rusev destroyed Goldust. Fans did the wave during the main event 6-man tag. http://jayreviewsthings.blogspot.com/2015/03/wwe-raw-3-30-15-post-wm-31-show.html Screens - THE WAVE! http://i.imgur.com/tc17y1E.gifv http://www.imagebam.com/gallery/nmszcidslobjmmevl4i3bj0kew0ucer0
  19. Like with the Black Scorpion, they saw Sting stuff on the Network (in this case, the '89 GAB) and thought WELL THIS INVOLVED STING SO LET'S DO IT.
