I don't think Don wrote it. I think it was just a snarky coda to the series. Looked at that way, it's not too bad. If Don did write it though... yuck. Cynical isn't the word.

Well I'll be damned. I checked the AXS website and then my own DirecTV guide to doublecheck and sure enough, the Stone Cold interview is playing this Friday night at 6 PM Central (probably because the NJPW season is starting that night on the channel) and the Hogan one is playing the same time next Friday, so if any of you want to watch and have the channel, DVR that shit or watch it as it airs. Enjoy!

Tonight I order Gehennah - Metal Police and Sepultura - Schizophrenia, tomorrow I go to the local store and get reissues of Venom - Black Metal and Motorhead - Overkill (they also have Bomber, No Sleep Til Hammersmith, and Iron Fist -- my first Motorhead album ever -- but those will have to wait, minus No Sleep cause I already have it). AXSTV has a show called The Voice Versus with Michael Schiavello where he interviews MMA fighters, boxers, wrestlers (Hulk and Austin so far), and the occasional celeb (Michael Jae White, Steven Seagal). Austin talked about Chono in his episode and it's funny, Owen never apologized when he broke Austin's neck and Austin never apologized when he broke Chono's, so he looks directly at the screen and does so just in case they're watching over in Japan. Overall it was a really great episode and worth watching if you come around it somewheres, it isn't on Youtube. The Hogan one is also interesting because he isn't bullshitting for a change and talks about missing the chance to reconcile with Macho before he passed.

Maybe Jingus just has a hard time with Aussie accents? I mean I did grow up on the American (let's not call it English, it was American accents all around except for the train conductor who they strangely didn't dub) dubbed VHS of it but after being exposed to the Aussie dub I wasn't taken aback.

I thought Jon was really good as the asshole federale in The Town. For some reason that seemed like his real personality, even though apparently he's a nice guy in person (and is quite funny anytime he does comedy).

It'll be interesting to hear Austin's opinions on NJPW (even though I've already heard his feelings on the Chono injury) and Barnett is just a guy I like to hear talk. Hell I'm enjoying hearing him now watching NJPW haha. And Austin and Barnett just seem like such a pair.

Hey! New episode on Friday is Ricochet (Prince Puma) vs. Kushida. I can watch that. For half a second I thought Puma without his mask was Davey Richards watching the commercial, but that is neither here nor there. EDIT: Looking it up I guess this is Top of the Super Juniors so there will be some other clipped stuff too

I hope you guys DVR'd The Church tonight if you haven't seen it yet. The unofficial second sequel to Demons, it's a real masterwork and one of the few films Michele Soavi directed (so far, I mean seven films isn't a huge filmography for someone who's been working forever). Some really wild setpieces, a ton of gore, and the scariest depiction of Satan I've ever seen on film... that goat is just flat-out creepy. BTW, if you're reading this, it's still on right now... EDIT: Well it just ended. Apparently the soundtrack has Goblin playing Philip Glass songs?! Can't think of anything more fitting. And the body creature that shows up at the end may be more insane than the raping goat.

Watched the segment on Youtube and that was pretty great. I have no problems with Owens' delivery, it's just a big whatever -- he said he's worked longer than Cena (interesting) and the "I'm a prizefighter" line was enough for me. What is important is he powerbombed John Cena and stepped on the US belt. When you do that you can have a flat delivery, who gives a shit.

It was cool seeing the hot niece again, and I liked that Peggy finally found her match. Also Don breaking down in the group. But otherwise it was just blah IMO. The worst ending for all of them being the wife and kids was pretty dark and I don't know if that's the end for them that I would have written but it feels like the one we deserved. Don's, on the other hand...
