  1. I asked Fink some LH questions yesterday at Legends of the Ring. There will be ten episodes with the tenth being a reunion show filmed January in Orlando. I was very curious about the stuff they did with Adam West since there were even photos taken. He wouldn't say much more than that it won't be used and that "Adam West will not be part of Legends House." I wonder if he really disrespected the wrestlers or something. -J\/\/
  2. I was a casual fan as far back as I can remember, even have audiotape of a very young me talking about JYD and Bundy. We had family friends over for my birthday in 1987 and their son was a fan so we rented WrestleMania III. My dad and I would occasionally watch SNME, too. In '91 I was sucked in by the Hasbro WWF figures. I started renting tapes and reading the Apter mags which I dreamt of writing for someday (a dream that I fulfilled). My dad bought me the Ric Flair Galoob WCW figure telling me that I'd want it because he was coming to the WWF and one Saturday night my mom flipped on WCW and in a very uncharacteristic (for her) moment declared "Look at those mudflaps!" as Abdullah and Cactus brawled. That was my proper introduction to WCW which made me realize that it wasn't an "off brand" wrestling. That's when I became a lifer and never looked back. -J\/\/
  3. I'm fairly sure that "Little Johnny" was played by the young actor son of Jameson. They live in Brooklyn, so it's not a stretch. -J\/\/
  4. I honestly wonder if he'll maybe get into the prop for 30 seconds for one shot so then he'll have officially "played" him in this movie and that will be that. An honorary credit sort of deal. I've seen him at times at shows in the past few years and he's not in great shape. Mayhew isn't either, so maybe it'll be the same for him. -J\/\/
  5. They pretty much just slapped the DVD release onto the Network for IV. Jive Soul Bro and many other WWF themes were gone from the Mania DVD releases as it really seemed that they didn't know what they owned. WWF mentions are still gone from IV, too. -J\/\/
  6. For those wondering why they didn't take advantage of so many of the biggies in one place, we still don't know. They had plenty of time backstage at the HoF and Mania as well as in between to do something like this. I'm glad they made Flair scarce for the rest of the weekend. I have very mixed feelings on all of his issues, and I think it's best that they keep him off-camera, probably for good aside from maybe a "Here's Ric Flair...wave" spot. -J\/\/
  7. IMO if they're going to run any free content whatsoever there, news regarding health and/or death should always be free. I was banned by the legendary Nazi leader Crimson Mask on that board for arguing this years ago. -J\/\/
  8. Bogner and Farmer (fake Razor, fake Sting) are going to be at the Legends of the Ring convention in June with a few of the other nWo Japan members. I've seen/met/talked to/whatever most past stars thanks to the convention scene, but no one has ever been able to locate Victor Rivera or Spiros Arion. Rivera has just about every story attached to him (drugs, prison, homeless, dead) but no one can confirm anything. Arion was said to be dead for awhile but then suddenly he was living on an island... -J\/\/
  9. Was always a fan of this show, but just happened to watch it the other day on the Network. I think all three of the first Slamborees where they had the legends involvement were fun. Loved the Moolah deal and had never seen it before so it was definitely cut from the tape. I knew she was there as she was on some of the merchandise and I believe the Apter mags ran a photo with her in the ring with the other legends. Chick Donovan and NWA/WWF prelimer Tommy Angel were the first two carrying her sedan. I think everything from the legends in the ring until Thunderbolt was missing from the vhs. I have video of the weekend activities they talk about throughout the broadcast, and at the CNN Center dinner they refer to Nailz under that name. Must've been a last minute realization or decision to change it. He later used "Nails" in the AWF, FWIW. -J\/\/
  10. FWIW, they've added several new "year" slots to the WWF PPV menu on Roku. I think it was '75, '77, '80, and '84 or something like that. I wonder if they'll be adding more supercards that they have. It wouldn't be a precedence (Big Event), so it's very possible. They have the Shea show with Bruno/Zbyszko with new commentary by Cole and Foley (in Cole's best turn at commentary ever), so they may as well throw it on there. I think it's missing a match, but it'd still be worth it to have there. -J\/\/
  11. Beefcake for any of the first 6, Doink for X. -J\/\/
  12. I think she's the best in that position that they've had since he left in '93. Would she go to ESPN? I thought making it to WWE was her goal. They've already utilized her in her short tenure better than the Coachman's and Grisham's of the world, and rightfully so. -J\/\/
  13. Nothing yet to my knowledge, but right before Classics On Demand ended, the oldsters...I mean..."historians" of the Net were poopin' dust over a tag match involving Kowalski and Strongbow that showed up. -J\/\/
  14. It was a great show and further proof that you don't need Punk. And I've been a Punk guy since 2001. And condescending Trips is wonderful, especially in that atmosphere. People, including me, are always bitching about no real heel heat anymore. There you go, just a different way of getting it. -J\/\/
  15. The "Together" edit is one of their most puzzling yet since it was on the DVD anthology and the music cd collection. Ever since it was used at one of the tv weddings in the past ten years, I've imagined it playing at every real McMahon wedding. -J\/\/
