True but Sony has been extremely indy/small game friendly for a few generations now and the gist of the current "controversy" seems to be that one studio couldn't make one game, while Days Gone - a game that had a pretty mild reception - isn't getting a sequel as of right now. Sounds like a lot of smoke for very little fire.

For real, Sony only wants mega-blockbusters like Kena, Returnal, Sifu, Stray, Ghostwire Tokyo, Little Devil Inside, etc. ?

I would assume the shield thrower just wouldn't throw it as hard if aiming at a human they didn't want to kill. I mean, I can toss a ball to my son without always whipping it at him full force...

American TV this morning had quite a bit on it. 99 years is a goddamn good run.

I got called for jury duty late last year but put up a fuss about covid so they put it off until this July. I'm not super psyched about it but I'm not going to try to get out of it, because god forbid I'm ever on the other side of things and hope to have a decent human being help decide my fate.

I'm sure if you are well off enough that you could even think about spending that much money on video games, you could probably donate it to a local charity.

Having the Inner Circle come out for a promo and then cutting to a commercial break is a perfect example of throwing away TV time that can go to anything more productive. Baffling decision but I guess we need everybody singing that song, right? Rest of the show was decent, skipped the main frankly because I was tired but also I really don't like the Bucks and reading on here it sounds like I made the right choice! The Drake/Allin match was the highlight for me. The last time I saw Drake he was in Evolve and wearing little red trunks that were incredibly not complimentary, so I'm digging the singlet. Everything else was just kind of there but mostly served a purpose. After watching about 45 minutes of raw this week I'm glad we have a wrestling company that doesn't completely fill the screen with needless bullshit, graphics, lighting, etc because it's just ugliest shit and I'd rather see an arena even if it's half empty.

I'm not big on the Inner Circle suddenly being babyfaces because they got their asses kicked and then came back and kicked ass. They were all total dickheads before, with the exception of Sammy walking away from everything. Two heel factions fighting works just fine in AEW, so hopefully it goes that way but I guess we'll wait and see. Show looks pretty fucking great, psyched to see it.

Interesting, because with so many matches going through a break, it feels like it's eating up more time on the show despite technically taking less. Maybe it's a formatting issue, or an often mentioned point in that several matches have similar spots throughout the night with dives, out of the ring battling, etc Either way, you could easily shave off a minute here and there, tighten up the matches and in just an additional five minutes per show you can add several promos, hype segments, or interviews.

Cody's a solid mid/upper-mid card dude who presents and books himself as a main eventer. AEW does not have a bloated roster, it's problem is thinking nearly every match has to go over 10 minutes and through at least one commercial break.

Agreed all around. I like the idea of the Moxleys and Miros starting anew and hope more folks come in to do the same, but other older stars coming in briefly and bowing out gracefully is a wonderful use of their time. Shit, Jericho has elevated a LOT of folks in his time, and Sting has been doing the same. I'd be cool with seeing guys like Angle and Joe come in for brief runs, and fuck, D-Bry having a year or two as he calls it a day? PLEASE. I don't think of those potential signings the way I think of like Andrade and Tommy End.

Y'all talking like Vince Mcmahon is some chill old dude happy with all his success and money, living out his days just enjoying every small bit of Red Bull and steak wrap... ? I loathe everything about WWE's corporate side but Namaste Vince as an onscreen character would legit get me to tune in.

No matter what Vince sees with AEW currently, you bet your ass if they ran against Raw it would be WAR.

Know how some games have your character get to being OP and things get less fun? I think this game's initial difficulty makes leveling up and getting more powerful weapons SO enjoyable. Eventually the nighttime isn't so bad, but even in the late game, Volatiles can be tough as hell - although there's a way to take them out!

I got hard into Dying Light for a while, it's got such a steep learning curve but once you level up enough and aren't constantly being mauled, it's a lot of fun especially once you get a grappling hook. Night time is intense!

I guess? It's legitimately hard to tell when people are saying they don't like the character when they're heels, or don't like the actual wrestler as a worker and person. I feel like Omega, especially, gets put into the latter category. Like MJF comes across to me like "such a jerk it feels like it's not an act," yet people say how good he is. Omega also douches it up and people say they don't even wanna see him on their TVs. So yeah, color me confused ?

I mean, y'all know The Good Brothers are supposed to come off like douchebags, right? Same with Omega, yet people have been acting like they're portraying their real-life selves on television.
