Ironic because Cage looked fuckin great last night along with Big Bill. I could definitely enjoy more Sydal vs Cage. Shida perpetually getting less credit than she's deserved with having Shafir's best match on regular AEW television.

I'm looking forward to hearing everybody's impressions of the game. I really want to pick it up but I'm going to wait a while because that is a very small roster considering what AEW has locked down. I think it's pretty well understood that everybody looks at Wardlow as a problem with creative and not the man himself. Dude clearly has a lot going for him but trying to make sense of his booking is a fool's errand.

Oh yeah and while Kevin Kelly had some major flubs, I think he'll ease into things well. I hadn't heard him in ages until last year's Forbidden Door where he did great so I'm enthusiastic about him being PBP with Nigel.

How has Toni Storm never killed anybody with the booty attack? Easily the most brutal looking move in the whole company. Juice and Switchblade looked damn good in the ME, especially Rock Hard with his utter weirdness. Nese being so JACKED and Miro still dwarfing him was great. No stupid roll back on Game Over! Woohoo! Loved the crowd going nuts for El Idolo's Figure 8. Wardlow and Hobbs have the same problem - they rule just by being huge ass kickers and keep getting paired with other folks that just don't really help things. Let the beefy men be beefy men. The intro ruuuuuuuuules. Still gonna end up watching this and Rampage on Sunday mornings. DVDVR DVR~!!

I'm the kind of guy where if the main event isn't something I'm super stoked about, I'm just going to go to bed early. If MJF and Adam Cole had wrestled for the main event, I would have skipped what ended up being a great fucking match. Cole is so much better as an underdog babyface and hopefully really leans into that shit going forward. Awesome run for AEW lately, cannot wait for the next few shows and Forbidden Door!
