    ISTR they were forced to use him as a manager because their mom was sick and they couldn't pay her medical bills. At one point their "sister" showed up in the crowd over-acting and chewing the scenery. It was hideous.

    It was definitely unscripted as you could see Ak was trying not to laugh his ass off when he went after Lowrance. I was always amazed at how much heel heat Ak got... for an "Arab" he sounded more Texan than Stan Hansen fucking the Dixie Chicks.

    Watching Tanahashi vs Ishii reminds me of Kojima vs Yasuda from the 1998 Climax. Neither Ishii or Lurch are/were particularly good, but they're really sky-high over as the cult mid-card guys getting a chance to shine on the company's biggest stage and punching way above their weight in the process. Fun stuff.
