On the added commentary from Dreamer he said Lynn originally planned to not work the last PPV and had to borrow gear for his match with RVD.

So a certain tape dealer whose name is frowned upon in these parts just released the long lost final ECW Arena show. Was actually a pretty good show, especially when you consider the promotion was just weeks from dying. One last Unholy Alliance vs. FBI match made my day, as did a sweet Jerry Lynn vs. Spike Dudley match. I'm surprised WWE didn't release this, as I would think"the lost ECW Arena show" would've done some business.

I can't wait to see the English version of Chivas USA bomb. I can just see all the fans of far more popular English clubs lining up to support a City feeder club. The real fans in the area support Metro and the ESC, City lite can have the plastic ones.

Went to FWE show with Pete. Highlight of the night was Pete trying in vain to buy a Colt Cabana shirt during the show. That and the 10 person elimination match. One thing that bugged me was the smarks shitting on John Hennigan and Ted Dibiase soley because they were ex WWE guys. If the match sucks that's one thing but these were matches that if random indie guy were doing them the crowd would be much more positive towards. Best part is that the "Fuck WWE" people will be the first to buy tixs when they come to town.

You have no fucking clue what you are talking about. They had a fanbase as was proven in 1986, the only year we won a playoff series. The city threw the team a parade, and more people showed up than would show up for any of the Devils cup winning parades. It probably outdrew the toilet bowls parade as well. If the Whalers had ever won a cup the state would've literally shut down.

Like what I'm seeing from us. Sabres are now losing due to lack of talent, not lack of effort. Unless the plan is to suck real bad next season to get Connor McDavid Nolan has to stay. He's got us playing hard, and at this point that's all I could ask for.

Huh? It's Don's right to say offensive stuff if he so chooses, but all of his detractors are equally within their rights to call for him to be fired. (I'm neither for nor against Don, so I don't really care one way or the other on the issue.) And I'm within my right to call them intolerant assholes who should be ignored. And I'd say the same thing if the target of outrage was Don or whether it was Bill Maher.

I tried sitting through this show but it was such boring dreck that I couldn't care less about it. halfway through I just turned it off and threw on old ECW tapes. I don't care what anyone says, Public Enemy 20 years later are still entertaining as hell.

Any of Sinister Minister's promos with Mikey were always hilarious. My favorite forgotten moment on a promo was when RVD was issuing a challenge to wrestlers from various countries and mentioned Vietnam. Fonzie then went "whoa" like he was disturbed by RVD bringing that up, to which RVD replied "Relax Fonzie, you were never in Vietnam". Then Fonzie goes "oh".

I was there for this match. I love how people shit on this watching it on tape when live the match got over like nothing I've EVER seen. I never have seen two guys a crowd barely knows literally become the biggest stars in the company in one match. Of course because this is CZW, they took them and booked them like shit and ruined all their momentum. Another match that I've seen people here shit on was the Teddy Hart vs Trent Acid match from CZW in 2004 at the arena. That match had the craziest crowd I've ever seen at an indy wrestling show, with fans actually fighting in the parking lot after the match over who was better (this featured some fan who cut a "stop this madness" promo on the warring factions that was among the best you'll ever see). Seeing that match on tape doesn't nearly do justice to how great it was live.
