Well one of the hosts has to have made a choice out of free will, or isn;t the entire show pointless? I think Maeve made the choice to go back on her own.

Relating to Maeve and her decision to go back to the park..... We've read a whole host of theories on Westworld over the past 10 weeks, and one of the big questions was where exactly was the park located? There were some interesting theories including an abandoned post-apocalyptic town or city, underwater or even space, though in the end it seems it was the most likely answer: an island. When Bernard was explaining to Maeve that she wasn't the only one making the decisions, it was simply a new narrative she was following, we got a glimpse at the control panel. There we saw that her narrative directed her to "deceive," then "coerce," then "recruit," then "escape" with the ultimate goal being "mainland infiltration." Bernard even begins to tell Maeve her narrative ends with "mainland infiltration" when she swiftly cuts him off. This would also explain why Westworld is able to have an ocean — a feat that otherwise would would have been a huge undertaking and that would've likely come off looking a little like The Truman Show scenery.

Did we find out it was Arnold who was making adjustments to Maeve this whole time? I forget. Also, who is the 3rd guy in the photo with Ford and Arnold. Is it possible Ford built a host of himself and had Dewyatt kill the host?

Fucking Ford man. I have to rewatch the whole series, and especially last night. Well William finally got what he wanted. That smile after he got shot was amazing. I'm guessing we get humans and "good" hosts versus Delores and "bad" hosts. Either way what a mindfuck. Great show. Answered so many of the questions/theories from the season and set up so much more.

I saw it so many years ago as a kid, but don't remember it at all. I plan to watch the movie after this season is over.

What seems wierd is that Ford has a picture of him, Arnold, and the other guy in his office. I understand Bernard was probably programmed to not be able to see the pic, how did no one else ever see that photo in Ford's office. He has picked it up in several episodes. Maybe I'm wrong.

Got mine last night. Sites were crashing hard, but I hear there are still opening night tickets available..

I feel like the Bernard in Arnold's likeness should be a dead give away, but then again....long term patrons like "MIB" don't know all of the backstage programmers and stuff, and one can assume that a lot of the staff was added after Bernard was already an employee. Or something happened, and a lot/all of the original staff let the park. I don't know....that one is a little weird and hard to swallow.

Crazy that Goldberg can come back and do 4 appearances and outshine 90% of the roster they have had for the past 10 years. This was a great run and I hope it ends. It's special, and it's been fun. He and Brock are just miles ahead of everyone else when it comes to having "it". The next segment was so telling after those too literally stood around and had more buzz than anything else on the show. Damn.....so pumped for that match. Still more pumped for Joe-Nak, but this match is going to be great.

It sucks this year. The picture stays over the face. Last year you just used the picture as a guide....unless I'm missing something.
