I picked up a Cornette Q&A on VHS around 2004 which I enjoyed a lot. He told great stories, drank a couple of gallons of Sprite and seemed to have a good time. Every shoot / q&a / interview has been a re-working of that original VHS I got 10 years ago with increased bitterness and less Sprite. I dont think his Podcast does him any favors either.

As long as I can suspend the disbelief of why the 2 guys are fighting. I mean, plenty of boxers have had 3 or 4 matches against an opponent, but each match is different and both guys look interested to be there. This is why Memphis worked, Portland etc. Yeah we had seen Lawler and Dundee a billion times, but they gave us a new reason each time. The worst thing a wrestler can do is phone it in, and plenty of guys do that, particularly on TV level, whether its because they don't feel they are being pushed or whatever. To me, even a thrown together match should be treated like a big deal, but often times its not which I find a shame Its probably also the reason I watch the indies way more, the guys want to be there and generally bust a gut regardless of who their opponent is.

Ryder aint the greatest, the poster above who compared him to Disco sums up my thoughts. Ryder is a great lackey / JTTS kind of guy, he does that role really well and he looks great so he is worth keeping on the roster, but there is no way he is getting pushed further than where he is.

Based on the last couple of pages, I'd like to see what would happen if this guy. Chopped this guy... Les Kellett would not tolerate such nonsense.

I flip-flop on Randy Orton so much, but he is easily the best douchebag heel in wrestling at the moment. I don't ever want to see him wrestle a one on one match, but then I think he knows that people dont really want to see him wrestle... and he plays up to it... or does he.... DAMN YOU RANDY YOU AWESOME DICKHEAD YOU DRIVE ME INSANE. He's like some sort of modern day meta heel.

Russia v Belgium is the first match I have watched for a few days. Not the most exciting game so far, Belgium's line up is filled with talent. The Russian team would be better if they had Lana cut a pre-match promo and show a picture of Putin in the jumbotron.

Yes! I went to a Velocity/SD! taping where he had a pretty good match with Danny Doring. I thought he looked great in the ring, and also liked that his name was in the style of the Metallica logo on his trunks. Also at this taping: I almost got in trouble two matches in during CM Punk's dark match for being underage drunk and yelling about how they shouldn't turn him into a deaf guy (I was 16 or 17, and am highly, highly ashamed of my behavior). Plus, as a bonus: Eddie Guerrero's Bedtime Stories. Is this a thing that was rumored at the time? I always thought it was something that came out years later??? If it was, and WWE thought about making Punk a deaf guy, then.. goddam.

As much as "always vote for Dusty" and "always vote for Murdoch" are fine, fine rules, I find that "always vote for Haku" is a better rule. Particularly when he has a Giant palling along.

I voted for Hash and Chono because they rule.
