  1. Just to get me to get it early, too! Ok, Tony, deal's a deal! Damn, went looking for it yesterday on FITE, but it's not up for pre-order as of yet. Well, as soon as it becomes available, I'm on it!
  2. Yeah, that would not fly. But they do have to get way around this somehow, because they have not ventured to this territory previously, to my knowledge, and it's really stupid. It should only happen in that other place I don't watch at the moment. Of course, every sneak attack that happens backstage outside of an official match, is essentially an assault, but this was still cut from a different cloth, so to speak. Well, they can always say made a small but painful cut in flesh of his buttock, just as you suggested.
  3. So, he Scissored Daddy Ass' ass? Well, that would make sense. It had to be less serious than was implied, because there's no coming back from that. You filmed yourself committing a number of crimes and broadcast it on national television. How are you going to go and casually challenge for the tag titles after that? You'll be doing community service for weeks after a thing like that! No matter what Chris Jericho tells you, this is Pro Wrestling, not Sports Entertainment and here crimes should have consequences, unless Billy is too much of a *ahem* badass to press any charges and want The Acclaimed to settle it in the ring again? Where's TK in all this? There's an investigation and people fired and suspended over a shitty locker room brawl of one punch and biting all the while you let this go on air on a taped show? You censored one of The Acclaimed's earlier raps once, so don't tell me your hands were tied, or something, because that was Billy, not you!
  4. Yeah! He still gives it, PR or not. You don't hear about my donations for example. There's a really good reason for it. There's nothing to tell.
  5. Ok, give me Samoa Joe vs Brian Cage for the ROH TV title at Final Battle and I'll buy the damn PPV right now!
  6. Any clue on this "Old Friend" of Darby's? Is it one of the Turtles? I hope it's not Sting! That would be a shocking turn of events, though!
  7. I swear to god if Swerve just ruined Billy's Birthday Bash next week...
  8. No way! Did not see that one coming. I wonder what kind of rock "Newest Rock" entails, this time around?
  9. Dammit! But thank you for the info all the same. I guess he won't be Jericho's mystery challenger next week, then.
  10. Did he by any chance win any titles during his time in ROH? Hmm, interesting.
  11. Trapbar was Ok. Standing on the higher platform, I only did 3x240 and 3x306, then 3x372 off the lower platform. Then failed 482 off that. Was able to get 1 while standing on a 2x4, so that's something. Then did 3x482 off the floor. Then I placed the bar on top of 33 lbs plates (4cm off the ground, is that like an inch and a half?) and proceededto do 4x2 with 515. Then shrugs with 372 and 306 and a bunch of lighter stuff. Yeah, I'm about done with this week right about now!
  12. The week is not over, since there will be trapbar in my immediate future in the next few hours, but it has been a good week so far. Well, not for work, but workouts, anyway. Monday's bench target was 4x8x259 and the first set was actually pretty close. For warm-up, I did 10x132, 3x220, 2x231, 2x242 and 1x253 After the one good set, the next three sets got progressively worse, but getting around 5-6 that actually counted. I was doing lat pull-downs with the resistance bands and light curls between the working sets. Going back down, I got at least 4 clean reps with 253, which was nice and a couple ugly partials after those. I took the weight off by only 5,5 lbs at a time (until I was back down to 220), so I ended up doing like 15 shorter sets overall. At some point, I switched to doing chest flies with the bands between the sets. Abs and resistance bands for the outer thighs to finish up the day. Tuesday was leg day, but I didn't want it to do a number on my trapbar THIS week also, so I scheduled it earlier in the week, and took it easier, for squats, anyway. I did 4 sets of 12, going deep, stopping at the bottom on several reps and stretching to full extension at the top. I also placed my feet rather wide, so I could squat as deep as the machine would allow me. The weights for the sets were 175, 220, 260 and 305. After those, I started on my calves with the 305 for 3 sets during which I changed ankle positions 3 times each, then one similar set with 260, 220, 175, respectively. Abs and resistance band work for thighs, as always. Wednesday I stretched, rolled, massage-hammered and went through my problem areas with a hard rubber ball for an hour before leaving for work. Also, on top of a large breakfast that included 6 eggs and bread, I ate 3 largre, warm meals and one decent snack throughout the day, in order to recover properly. Yesterday, I was like, "Let's fucking GO!!!" It was going to be a full-on assault on my upper body. I usually forego writing it down, as to not get even more repetitive than I normally do in these, but at the start of each workout, I do obliques by using a stick behind my neck and stretching from side to side. Then a couple of sets of face-pulls, pull downs, these weird push back thingys that Athlean-X was advocating and some scapula work (all with resistance bands), light side delt raises and a set of reverse shrugs with body weight only. This happens basically every time, so I will not be writing all of this down from now on. The actual workout consisted of EZ Bar curls with 74 lb followed by behind the neck over head press with the same (rep range 15-20), narrow grip over head press using the squat machine with 88 (rep range 10 for three rounds, on later rounds 5-7), incline dumbell bench press with 63 lbs on each hand (rep range 10, one set was 12) and shrugs with the dumbells straight after each set. I did maybe 5-6 rounds with the others, but with incline bench it was 4 and then switched it up to 3 sets of hammer curls with the same dumbells (rep range 12ish). Some of the rounds were punctuated with a set of light side delt work for recovery. Abs at the end...shit, I really don't need to write this down every time. Look at my F'n abs, there's plenty of ab work, yes. Ok, so trapbar is still looming over me, but I tried to limber up and do mobility work this morning, so hopefully it won't be as difficult as last week. It will be updated during the weekend, if not later today.
  13. I need to watch most of the matches again, since I was preparing food and then eating it at the dinner table, like a civilized person for once, but holy hell was this a loaded show! In the end there, The Firm apparently said "Fuck Your Retainer!" That was a fucking three count on the Fear Factor! Mox realized he got super lucky due to an incompetent ref and finished the match as fast as possible after that one! Not a huge Penta fan, but he got robbed on that one! OC being a fighting champion, because he just doesn't care, is awesome! Sammy vs Bryan ended up being way better than I expected, but I missed most of it as explained previously, and need to rewatch it. I wonder if Saraya vs Britt could be some sort of cinematic match, just to be on the safe side? If they aren't building towards FTR vs The Acclaimed now, then it's going to be too late. I guess Donkey Club is vying for the ROH tag belts in December? Is Hayter getting the title one PPV later than she should have? Wheeler is becoming a real player. Him vs Danielson at Full Gear in some sort of respect match?
  14. And he was being a real dick about it, too! Showing off, like "Hey Larry, this is what watchdogs do! Why are you being so toothless? Do I have to do everything myself around here? Some protector you are!"
  15. The match would have been better, but unless the finish was the same (a face count-out victory), the odds are Tito's Wrestlemania record would then have been 1-8, instead of 2-7. This got me thinking, what would have been "a Wrestlemania-worthy" card for Wrestlemania I? What would have been the biggest and best card that the roster could have allowed at the time?
  16. He considers Chicago his home in a very real and legally-binding sense?
  17. That Survivor Series match that was originally supposed to be Rousey vs Lynch, is probably closest I can think of. That was of course prior to that clip, however.
  18. She was a blink and you'll miss it Prime Minister of UK who was still able to do pretty spectacular damage to their economy within the span of her epic reing that literally lasted less time than it took a some kind of lettuce or cabbage to go bad. Somebody actually filmed the evidence. Royal Rumble 1991, on the other hand, stands the test of time reasonably well.
  19. @JLSigman Christ, that sounds terrible! Hopefully you will get the meds / care you need in order to sort this out. In the mean time, hang in there and stay safe.
  20. Oh, so that's why they are going after the Creeds! That makes sense.
  21. I haven't seen NXT since February, who is Damon Kemp, or rather who was he prior to this, if he used a different name?
  22. Does it need to be a singles match? If not, then Diesel & HBK vs Razor & 1-2-3 Kid from '94 could be a contender! Or the KotR'94 match with Bret, if it has to be singles.
