  1. That's such a good finish tho, just not with Hogan. Reigns gives Sami the orders that if he wins The Rumble he is out of The Bloodline and his sworn enemy. Sami is number 30 and everyone is eliminated before he even enters. He comes out and is immediately declared the winner while begging the refs not to raise his hand and having a panic attack. He had no control over it. It's not his fault. Don't kick him out of his family. Instant sympathy.
  2. You are aware he had the most interceptions in The NFL this year correct? You are also aware he missed a full SIX games due to injury and STILL took the interception crown correct? Is this a bit? Is this comedy? How could you believe he's the best in the conference lol. There's a bunch better than him in The NFC. We getting some wild takes today
  3. The Eagles from tonight against The 49ers of the last 10-12 weeks is going to be epic if we get it next week. Giants weren't supposed to be any good this year, so pretty happy they even made the playoffs. I'm all in on Buffalo. I wanted a Giants v Bills Super Bowl but now I will settle for a Bills v 49ers Super Bowl. Make it happen football gods. I'd really like to see one more Daniel Jones season, this time with a good receiving core. You still can't tell if he's good or just lucky. Give him some help and let's see what he's got. Slayton & Richie James ain't it.
  4. Oh go fuck yourself. I would have walked right up and flipped that ref off. It appeared to be a backwards pass, the defender was diving to get what seemed to still be a live ball. That wasn't a late hit. That wasn't unnecessary roughness. That was a player playing.
  5. Henne is totally competent in this offense. They're still the favorites if he stays in. Pump and dump. But looks like Mahomes is coming back in. And that is a major mistake.
  6. Nailed it. That was a damn good representation of the game. Even knowing what was coming with Sarah it still got me in the feels because it was so well done and so close to exactly how it played out in the game. Also glad the dog didn't get got. I hate when TV shows harm dogs. Even ones that throw infected children in a fire pit.
  7. 1. That was the worst roughing the passer call all year. 2. Did The Giants... just win a playoff game??? 3. DID THE GIANTS JUST WIN A PLAYOFF GAME!!!! I soooooo have PTSD from the last few coaches. Even up until they got the ball back and were taking knees I was worried they would not be able to finish. Jones looked great. Barkley looked great. But having no turnovers is the greatest! The only path I saw for The Giants to do well in the playoffs was Vikings > Eagles > not the 49ers. If Jalen Hurts is still banged up they got a shot. It's also reallllyyyy hard to beat the same team 3 times in a season. Next week I'm going to be a nervous wreck. But regardless the outcome, this should really seal Daboll as coach of the year. He took The Giants from 5 wins to at least The Divisional round using the same old Daniel Jones & basically all practice squad receivers. Remarkable. Shout out to Wink Martindale too. Rocking that hybrid surfer / farmer mullet out there like nobody is watching.
  8. Very excited for this tonight. The first 10 minutes of the game were probably the best 10 minutes of any game I've ever played. If episode one starts the same way this should be good. Hope it lives up to the games.
  9. The talking point is going to be Bosa costing them the game by getting them close enough for that 2. But the truth is they were cooking and would have just went down and got the TD on that last drive if they needed it anyways. That 2nd half was a fun one to watch.
  10. First half was fun. Second half turned into an enhancement match. Geno gotta be satisfied overall with this season tho. Was an afterthought coming in as Rus' replacement. Ended up breaking The Seahawks all time passing record and making the playoffs. Way outperforming Russel Wilson. The 49ers are looking like they have the hot hand. Not sure who in The NFC has the defense to slow down all these weapons.
  11. Agreed. I don't think The Khans buying WWE works out. It's almost like the merger would be too big and implode in on it's self. Tony created AEW. He's not going to want to just shutter that brand and identity. I'm sure it means a lot to him. You also can't shutter WWE. They are still the recognized brand in the industry and mega profitable. Would Tony seriously try to run Raw on Mondays, NXT on Tuesdays, Dynamite on Wednesdays, Smackdown & Rampage on Fridays, ROH PPVs, AEW PPVs, WWE PPVs, NXT PPVs & all the many Youtube shows? It's wayyyy tooo muccchhh. Things would have to be streamlined. And even then it'll all be too same-y. You'll end up int he 00s Raw & Smackdown situation where the majority of people watching then picked just one to watch and overlap was minimal. Financially I see how it makes sense. But in actuality and practice it would be a mess. Even at the most streamlined possible scenario, one merged WWE brand on Fridays, one merged AEW brand on Wednesdays, one merged & unified ROH / NXT brand on Mondays... that's still just too much. Although that one would be one hell of mega library. And we would all likely benefit from a streaming service with all of those libraries mashed up together and led by a super nerd like us.
  12. So here's a thought. This is far from confirmed. Let's say this is all rumor BS and actually not true. When the market opens tomorrow does this rumor mongering overnight help or hurt the stock price? Like do more people buy in thinking a sale is immediately imminent? Does it actually pop their number? Or do people see Saudi and sell in droves? I'm not really a financial guy so I'm not sure which way it can play out. But there is so much chum in the water, I can't believe WWE would let this simmer over night if not true. I guess we'll see.
  13. If this end up being confirmed.... holy shit. What the fuck. I can imagine Sami is released per the demands of the new Saudi owners. This is really going to fuck the whole business isn't it.
  14. Yeah the heels have still been coming out behind the left smaller screen, the babys bhind the right smaller screen. I do wonder if Red & Blue is the always default colors except special episodes, or if they will always change them up depending on the location they're in. Rotating and color swapping seems like a cool idea to make the Dynamite episodes a little more distinct. Lakers colors in LA. Go to Green Bay and do yellow & green. Las Vegas black & silver. Etc.
  15. I 1,000% get this coming from 2022 eyes. But I think we all forget just how bad the era preceding it was. Austin flipping people off and DX's dick jokes or Undertaker hanging people on crosses are are infinitely better than watching a Mantaur squash or Man Mountain Rock play a WWF logo guitar. It's trashy. But so was everything else in America in 1997 / 1998 / 1999. The tail end of The New Generation was just the worst of the worst. Mimes, jock strap mask Montoya, gross fat dudes named Booger, Just low brow bad child humor in some of the most stale presentation possible. Still doesn't make it any less gross to look back on. But going from The Bodydonnas & The Godwinns to Edge & Christian and The Hardys was earth shattering in the moment.
  16. If you want proof The NFL isn't rigged, I present Geno Smith vs Brock Purdy - Playoff Game for your consideration lol.
  17. Of all weeks to physically shove a trainer / medical staff. Jesus. Glad he got ejected.
  18. With that catch Golladay is only.... 72 catches away from hitting his contract bonus this year... oh, so close. The result of this can't feel good for The Eagles. They win. They get the number 1 seed. But they barely survived a bunch of 3rd stringers. On the other hand The Giants have to feel pretty good. They hung in with the number 1 seed's ones for the whole game. Some good defensive play. Some good offensive play. Kept momentum in a loss. Bring on The Vikings.
  19. Is Vince not a McMahon? Am I supposed to extrapolate The McMahons to somehow not include Vince? Maybe think before you type then? If you meant The McMahons that are not Vince, say that. Otherwise McMahons clearly does include Vince. NONE of them are running a territory out of New York by the way. Territories died 40 years ago. So regardless of the intent of your subject, it's an asinine thought. Of the 5 of them only maybe Triple H would have the passion to do anything non-WWE if he's not included in a WWE sale. Stephanie, Vince, Linda for sure are WWE all or nothing. Shane, it depends how much coke he's had that day. He's more likely to start a slap fight league to compete with Dana White probably. But NONE of them would even fathom the thought or running a territory in the 2020s. And with that I've already spent too much time and energy with replies to this dumb thought. So I say good day to you.
  20. WWA who only ran 5 shows (only 2 of which were based in the United States) over 3 years counts as a nation promotion? XWF who ran a marathon studio taping and couldn't sell shit to a fly counts as a national promotion? A promotion existing doesn't constitute a national promotion. Touring / TV distribution on a national network / functioning as an active promotion, not just an indy that threw their low budget quarterly shit up on the Cablevison is a prerequisite to being a national promotion. WWE. WCW. ECW. Later stage TNA. AWA. AEW. Shit even ROH had that HD-Net show for a minute. Those are national promotions. XWF & WWA aint it. The only gimmick I have is dude that posts his thoughts & opinions. You're the one predicting an almost 80 year old McMahon chomping at the bit to run a monthly territory out of MSG for some reason. So maybe that uniformed label is a bit of projection?
  21. TNA Started in June of 2002. How does TNA starting a full 15 months after Vince created a monopoly negate that monopoly? Did I misunderstand the question? Vince buying the last of the national promotions surely constitutes a monopoly in principal. If Papa Johns bought up all the national pizza chains and all that remained were small local ones that only serviced one town, then Papa Johns would have a monopoly in practice as well. TNA started in June of 2002. I'd argue it didn't really count as a national promotion until it got on Spike TV in October of 2005. So essentially there was a monopoly in practice from March 2001 until October 2005, in my opinion at least.
  22. -Boy are there some... bad posts in the last page or so. Mostly by the same person. Uh why in the world would Vince come back to sell WWE and run a Capitol Wrestling territory out of NY? At the age of 78 or 79 by then, he's just going to start over from scratch? For what purpose? If he does sell WWE (and I'm still not sure that's the purpose of any of this) why in the world would he stay in the non-WWE wrestling space? Wrestling isn't Vince's life. WWE is his life. The brand. The history. The family connection. His 40 years of control and molding a vision. Less that ZERO chance of something like that happening or even being considered a rational thought. -WWE Land with multiple shows happening in the same park, also dumbbbb. Pro wrestling ain't Disney. There's what, AT MOST, a top line number of 5 million-ish people in the United States that even care the tiniest slightest bit about wrestling. Of that number less than half watch a TV wrestling program regularly. Less than that number care to attend the shows. Disney has hundreds of millions of people all over the world willing to come to their parks. And even they are having trouble making it work. You couldn't even have ONE WWE Land in the world because your pool of people willing to go is probably about 1 million. And of those 1 million I'd venture to guess less than half have the means to make it happen. -Now Triple H, if not retained in a WWE sale, I could see trying something. What it is I'm not sure. I could see him being savvy enough to work a deal to get the rights to NXT & it's library instead of his share of a stock buyout. Now he wouldn't get the performance center. But a corporate whatever that doesn't know wrestling won't really understand the value of the NXT brand and trademarks. I mean it's not WWE right? It's just the name of a show to them that doesn't get that many viewers. I could see them, saying sure turn down your 30 million payout and keep NXT. Do your thing Paul lol.
  23. So is it the Mimosa Mayhem match from AEW with Pitch Black in there instead? Or is it the WM7 blindfold match with Pitch Black logos on the hoods? Can't wait to find out lol.
  24. This financial talk is fascinating to me. And Gregg is doing a phenomenal job breaking down all the ins and outs of the stock market related components. But I'm baffled so many people are missing the mark of what's actualy happening here. WWE isn't for sale. Vince will NEVER sell. He was gone 6 months and HATED it. He's not going to sell the company to cash in and be a weird rich billionaire. He's already got more money than he could spend in 50 life times. This has nothing to do with money. Running WWE is his only passion / hobby / obsession / purpose in life. He pulled the nuclear option to get back in and make sure they *can't* sell. This was a strategic move to get back into his old spot. He knew dropping lines about the media deals & sales would drum up tons of stock market enthusiasm. Meaning if the board publicly rebuffed him shareholders would be furious. They would argue the board is preventing WWE from making the most profitable decisions by not allowing Vince in to make those sales. These aren't wrestling people. They don't understand Vince is an unhinged maniac. They think he's this brilliant businessman. And he is. But he's also got a death grip on this thing til the day he dies. WWE will not sell while Vince is alive. I'm 4,000% sure of it.
