LeBron needs to one-up Kobe's one-up and take #25.
-
Lakers traded Wagner/Bonga/Jones to Washington and AD waived his trade kicker, so they will theoretically have a full $32M going into free agency although that might be complicated by Reggie Bullock's cap hold.
-
It's especially dumb because with the new lottery odds a lot of teams would be better off missing the playoffs than getting swept by a 1 seed.

I don't catch it on TV so much anymore, but if Ronin is on I will always check to see if it's close to a car chase or shootout. When it's that time of year I'll always watch a little of National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation.
-
Honestly? Not the worst move they could make if they can get him for less than $16M but I really think they need someone stretchier at the 4 next to Gobert.

This offseason is going to be so fucking stupid.

"Surely this ball-dominant guard that's a huge prick will be the answer to our problems!" - Daryl Morey, apparently.

While they may not have the rings, the titles, or the respect of peers and fans, the Rockets do consistently lead the league in Excuses Above Replacement Player. Maybe they can hang that next to their "DID NOT PAY LUXURY TAX 2019-20" banner. In conclusion:

The Worst Star Trek Episode Of All Time(Not Including Discovery)
Zimbra replied to Ryan's topic in MOVIES & TV
It's true: I am both extremely correct and extremely brave. I think the Vic Fontaine and baseball episodes share a lot of the same flaws, mostly that they don't fit tonally with the rest of the season. Which I could forgive if the writing was better, but it doesn't work for me. I also don't like any of the DS9 mirror universe episodes so I might just be a grump. -

I voted for Code of Honor because of the racism, but if we're keeping it a buck a lot of season 1-2 of TNG are pretty hard to go back to now. I would also submit for consideration every episode of DS9 where the crew becomes inexplicably obsessed with a lounge singer on the holosuites. The baseball episode of DS9 is also extremely bad, but is saved by the casting of Keone Young as the greatest baseball player in history. -

That is a really great deal for Utah. They still need to try to add some shooting on the cheap but I think they'll be in the top tier of the West next year.
-
Apparently things went extremely pear-shaped in the past 5 hours because Horford is no longer expected to re-sign with Boston.
-
Can't wait for Houston to use all those draft picks they were gonna use to get Butler to dump CP3's contract instead.
-
Harrison Barnes and Al Horford both declined their player options for next year. Both are still expected to re-sign with their current teams.

Oh fuck not Klay too.

They need to sign that man to a 10-day so he can go out right. It is insane how much of the offseason, and even the next five years of the NBA, is dependent on the results of Durant's MRI.

I don't know what you guys are talking about, the Avengers game looks great

Tony Parker is officially retiring. Also NBA TV is cancelling The Starters after the Finals end, which sucks.

I cannot believe that this commercial actually exists and is not from a way-too-on-the-nose piece of satire.
