Right you are about VHS 3. For me, the only fun moment of the whole film was about 5 minutes of skaters vs Mexican zombies. Parallel Monsters was a neat idea that they didn't flesh out (pardon the pun) nearly enough. The rest was awful and could even get within sniffing distance of the good stuff from the first two.
