  1. I LOVE Kamen Rider OOO. WIZARD starts very strong but falters in the middle, though the action scenes are always good and BEAST might be my 2nd fave secondary Rider (1st is METEOR because he was just a badass). GAIM is complex and has a feel of the earlier Heisei shows. My personal recommendations are AGITO and 555, as they have the deepest stories. OOO has the coolest upgrades and forms imo, I just love the look of Tajador form and PtuoTyrannoSaur form James
  2. Watched the first 4 episodes and was digging but then I started watching West Wing again and all I can say is "Crime... boy I don't know" James
  3. In regards to the Lawler DVD... I thought Lawler confirmed that WWE has the Memphis library now? If that is the case I think they might have rushed the DVD because you have to think about just how many hours of Memphis footage there and if they had enough time to cull through all of it. James
  4. Y'all seem to be in a Lucha mood so I give you this... This one is for DEAN, given his long lost love for Osamu Tahihikari... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lrUaV-tAhgo James
  5. and then there is this... James
  6. I love Barry Windham I love Tito Santana This match is like wrestling nirvana for me Did I mention I also love Don Muraco? Special Guest Star: A Green as babyshit Barry Windham! James
  7. I fuckin LOVE Momia De Elvis! Titanes En El Ring has some amazingly great goofy gimmicks, like having a Musketter wrestlign a "robot" James
  8. The Jr Tag straps meant more in the late 90s and turn of the century, but the talent pool for the juniors was way deeper then James
  9. Piven makes me excited for SummerFest! James
  10. A reprint of of Impulse? DAMMIT! Those first 12 issues by Waid were just some of the best Gag comics ever written! I mean that as a total compliment James
  11. On The Life of David Gle... blows my mind that the goth chick was Melissa McCarthy James
  12. I love Onita Funk because at its core its still a wrstling match with mountains of psychology. The fact that you have terry Funk in a ring surrounded by exploding barbed wire and he decides to just bust out a spinning toehold is twofold. It plays to those old school fans that want that style of wrestling AND it irks the FMW fana who don't. I just plays in to how brilliant Funk is. It shows that Terry Funk is the definition of pro-wrestling James
  13. Death matches are inherently lame as hell. You can't hold that against him. The fuck is this? I think the modern Deathmatch has kind of lost its allure. But classic stip matches (which is all that Dethmatches really are) still have a place. Also there is definitely a difference between the FMW era Dethmatch and what it ended up spawning via W*ING and Big Japan. Onita had that time in Memphis to show him how to build to a stip match and in turn how to work it and build to something special. A bump into exploding barbed wire is no different than bump off a laddwr in terms of building to the moment. and visual spectacle for the crowd. There are some excellent deathmatches out there BUT I can understand it being someone's cup of tea. You don't like Deathmatches, that's fine. Me, I really hate stunt show ladder matches that have been the norm since the late 90s... but that's me. To each his own. Here's to pluralism in pro-wrestling fandom James
  14. Honestly? Jem wasn't the most coveted of 80s shows. But yeah, this basically the same plot as Josie & The Pussycats minus the jokes and Dr, Zaius! James
  15. That ending for American Crime... sweet crap... All the talk has been about Felicity Huffman but I barely hear about how amazing Tim Hutton is it. I think he more than anyone blew me away James
  16. So I'm not that far off the mark. Yeah I totally meant MM and not the Beyonder. In the heat of reading all that my mind was just so insanely blown away This is the most ambitious story since Cerebus it seems James
  17. SWEET CRAP! After reading that you're basically telling me that... Yeah I know that's really not it exactly but no I'm going to have to buy every damn trade of Hickman's MU stuff James
  18. Its Shadow WX, mainstay of Big Japan for more years than I can remember James
  19. If it were LSH Five Years Later Time Trapper version of Glorith... I'd lose my damn mind in joy! James
  20. I'm personally hoping for the return of Sal Bellomo James
  21. No no, Database becomes MCP and then builds the Terminator... only it will be the 3rd Laurinitas brother and not Arnold. James
  22. You all laugh now but when the Database becomes self-aware you know GFW becomes? Hint:
