I think Anna Jay's pants are actually tinier. Also, I just can't visualize Tay as a heel, she's not bubbly but she exudes a positive vibe. TayJay to me are one of the biggest arguments for having a Women's tag title. I like them both as singles wrestlers but I think right now they get over best as a tag team (and the street fight sealed that). Them doing dual QueenSlayers on the twins was a nice touch. Which reminds me that Nyla and Emi were also awesome as a tag team this week.

My Texas site has been hinting at that for weeks. Reaction is mixed on the board. They also called Sanders last week, much more excitement at that possibility but he was an OU commit at one point (on offense, to Lincoln Riley). At one point, they thought JoJo Earle might be a possibility too. I'd imagine the tampering was mostly done through high school teammates.

I don't watch WWE/NXT and haven't for 15 years or more, so my guess would be they had her dress like a Carnaval dancer and giving people the Stinkface.

Yeah going forward I would love a weekly thread for the YT shows.

Watched Elevation and Dark through the JE/Factory match last night. It was cool to get double doses of Dante Martin (and yeah, he needs to start hitting that finisher farther from the ropes), Skye Blue, and then Hobbs squashing fools (the first guy who looked and posed like he was a 1940s babyface was awesome). The JD Drake/OC match was a highlight for sure, but I didn't actually think that was Avalon and Bononi under the masks and was expecting a SWERVE, probably because I have been reading Dolfan's Wrestlemania lockdown thread. The announcers were really putting over Bowens, and I'm ready for The Acclaimed to get their title run (as was said earlier, this was also probably Caster's best rap not just lyrically but he also really hit a flow). Finally, Kingston and Janela was a stiff brawl. At this point, Elevation is like a really good WCW Worldwide (my favorite syndicated show) and the last couple of Darks have been excellent WCWSN shows.

The announcers winced at that, she dropped her on her head like this was All Japan.

Bret knows where the marks are these days.

Williams may be doing due diligence (to avoid tampering claims) but I would be incredibly shocked if his plan wasn't to follow Lincoln to USC. Guessing Dart was finally informed.

It's the Justin Fields connection, but you are 100% right.

Seen a couple of references of Kiffin to the Vikings.

Is Jimbo Fisher something that's been mentioned, or just a doom and gloom scenario for you?

I stayed up late watching the Raiders/Chargers and I was briefly convinced that the Raiders were going to play for the tie before San Diego called that time out. I was rooting hard for a missed field goal. just because it would have been the wildest scenario for playoff qualification in a long time. I think I'm going to root for the Bengals, so hoping Dallas can knock out San Francisco just to be sure that Cincy won't possibly be facing the 49ers in the Super Bowl.

I actually agree with that. -

Great opener, most everything has been said about it but I also thought maybe Sammy had really hurt his knee. Then I realized he was pointing at it to try and get the ref to stop the 10-count. Table spot was a huge wow moment, and I was fine with the kick out since it was a 2.9, and because Cody took a while to recover outside after the spot, giving Sammy time to recover as well. Wonder if Eddie is going to get involved with Sammy-Garcia next week? FTW match was a solid Dark main event. I think @HarryArchieGussaid that Taz is hard to listen to when he’s calling a Team Taz match, and I fully agree. And whoever said to just trash the belt is right because that whole background/explanation was ridiculous. The after-match stuff was good though. Enjoyed the Women’s title match, done really well from a storyline point of view with some big spots. Table spot was scary as Hayter’s legs took a lot of awkward impact and I was really worried there would be another bad injury from a table. Riho wasn’t smiling the whole time, which honestly helped get across how serious the match was. 7 hours a week (including Dark and Elevation) was a lot for me. -

Because other than Sydal’s high-flying moves it was really meh. -
Especially if she can hit it like that and then roll through for the pin. I thought it was a great match, I liked Ruby Riho as a tag team and hope they work together as a duo again. It was cool that they tried some combination moves even though they were just a “thrown together” team. Also, Hayter and Britt both chose violence yesterday.

And Atlas didn’t immediately tap out either, so it obviously wasn’t too painful of a submission. It was a nice way to cover an injury IMO.

One of my cats is Ruby, she is named after the Shiner Ruby Redbird beer, not the Rancid song although Ruby Soho is one of her nicknames. I haven't noticed her perk-up when she hears her name on TV but she is usually curled up on my lap when I'm watching AEW. -
BYU arranged for all walk-ons to get NIL equivalent to the athletic scholarship. In the future, I would expect the bigger schools to use NIL as a recruiting tool for preferred walk-ons.
-
Hook should be squashing the JTT Dark/Elevation stars for a while.
-
I feel like the intent of the NCAA NIL rules was so players could get a cut from sales of jerseys and t-shirts with their name on it, and so the NCAA football video games could be made again. Maybe be in a local TV commercial. I don't think they intended to make a Wild West, I think it's just poorly run, knows they're basically toothless as far as enforcement, and really only concerned with their own bottom line.
-
Did they sign the big guy who did all the work? ?
-
So Tony Stark.

I try not to get hung up on size but I think -1 is bigger than Stunt.

Wasn't the first appearance of Sting after Hulk Hogan went NWO a lights out moment, followed by the cameras finally finding him in the rafters? To me, it's a spot that's been done to death and I don't even like it as an entrance for Black.
