Is he gone forever? Jesus fuck thanks for the heads up, that dog will not move more than a block from the house from now on. I was on the beach playing catch with him and trying to scare some of the girls walking down the beach. I threw the ball into the water where he refused to go. When I went to get the ball, he followed me in. Then I heard a whimper and the note on the side "Chop has died." He respawns after a couple of minutes in Franklin's backyard. After he drowned, I walked away from the tv for a few minutes forgetting to pause. When I returned, I was horrified to see Chop's body still there. Yeesh.

I just got the game and I just found out Chop can't swim. Edit: I mourned his loss by getting a blow job from and then killing a hooker.

Not for nothing, but Pettitte's post-playing career will be very interesting. By all accounts, he is a no questions asked Hall of Famer... but he's in the Mitchell Report. Does he get in? I know the idiocy of this statement, but he may be the cleanest "dirty" player of the steroids era.- 396 replies

So if you hadn't heard, former NY Giants lineman Brian Halloway had his summer house in upstate NY all but destroyed by a bunch of local kids who broke in and threw a party while he was away. They instagram'ed, tweet'ed, vine'd and posted to facebook as it was happening too, which is how he found out it was happening. Instead of pressing charges, he published all of their pictures and their [online] names in an effort to publicly shame them and get them to come forward and own up to what they did. And of course, because why not, the parents of those shamed kids are angry at Halloway for publishing the kids info/pics. http://www.npr.org/blogs/thetwo-way/2013/09/20/224382580/teens-trash-ex-nfl-players-home-parents-are-mad-at-him Oh, and a fun fact the article leaves out: The kids stole the headstone on his property of his stillborn grandson. Yeah...

He STILL has the tweet up! Jesus Christ. I am astonished at how people in 2013 do not understand how the internet works.- 396 replies

Since he announed his retirement, Todd Helton has been the most fun player in baseball to watch. For example, exposing Chris Carpenter's stupidity:- 396 replies

Since baseball is about 10 games from ending, it's always nice to get a head start on worrying about next season: Who gets to win the Giancarlo Stanton sweepstakes? Or will the Yankees finally realize it's time to rebuild? Or what ridiculously stupid contracts will be signed by a team desperate to be competitive again? (Philadelphia, I'm looking in your direction) Also, speaking of monumentally stupid, here's a fun bit of news, Marlins President David Samson will spend his offseason prepping to play Lorne Michaels in a play based on a season where he let everyone except Chris Kattan go. Oh, irony. You can be so ironic. http://blogs.miaminewtimes.com/cultist/2013/09/david_samson_you_ignorant_slut.php Grr. Happy duck. Pitchers and catchers report February 16th.

I think I've hit my problem with the Stephanie angle. Unless something major changes, there's no way they can resolve it satisfactorily: She's evil and must eventually get her comeuppance at some point, right? There are two ways to do that, a) strip her of her power, or beat the holy fuck out of her. A is out because dad owns the company and her husband is in complete control. B is out because PG. So what happens? She gets to go unchecked and is never threatened. Part of good storytelling is that someone can't have all the cards, because otherwise, where's the conflict. ---- And frankly, even though we all knew it was coming.... Daniel Bryan's two WWE Championship reigns lasting a combined 22 hours absolutely sucks. At least he didn't hand back the belt willingly. And for the record, JBL and Lawler sounded idiotic when they earnestly were trying to sell that AJ was somehow behind a defective pair of headphones.

With MJD out, as of now, those are both double digit losses.

Oh, and reddit guy finally had his streak broken. He got everything right... but he predicted ADR to win. He believes it was changed on the fly, but will not take credit on any technicality.

I think DB's getting his title stripped, but I do not think Orton is going to get it back. HHH made the specific point to tell Orton 'I'm not sure you're the guy.' So I think the title gets vacated and we have a stipulation match for the undisputed title at Battleground.
