Being from near the Mobile area I can tell you that Holly was a regular at all the bar/club tough man contests.In his book Bob claims one time since he had beat everyone they brought in a bear for him to fight. I wish he had said the name of the bar this happened at so I could make some calls and see if he was bullshitting about fighting a bear in some Mobile AL Redneck bar.

I know there is matches on the various Dallas shows that MLW filmed and never aired. Andy Dalton had a match and last time they were in Dallas Apoc had a match that never aired.

So as of right now the last indie show to happen in MS was the two night Widowfest event March 13th and 14th. I posted the best matches of each night already. Learned earlier today,while out looking for bread and TP,that I was the only person that filmed any of the Battlezone Hall of Fame stuff.

And some matches from Night 2 of Battlezone's Widowfest 2020 event Battlezone Jr Heavyweight champion Braxton Hunter defends his title against Golden Simon Philips Both guys are good rising talent. Four team tag title match for the Battlezone and the Pro Wrestling EGO tag team titles. Renegades of Phunk(Joey Abel/Faroh of Phunk) vs Ursa Major/Nightmare Known as Jeremiah vs Frankie Thomas/Chris Black vs Jesse Dalton/JD Jenkins. Main Event Night 2 Xtian Blake/Dr Tom Prichard with Brett Ian Landry vs Marvelous Monty Warbucks/Cassidy Riley with Big Ramp and Prince Tavion Ok so the promoter Joey Abel had a miscommunication with Al SNow. And AL thought the show was canceled. So during the Battlezone Hall of fame induction of Prince Tavion,Xtian Blake,Brett Ian Landry and Dr Tom Prichard ran out and smashed Monty Warbucks face in the cake that was brought out for Prince Tavion. And I will give the promoter huge props. He announced at 6am Saturday morning on twitter and FB that Al snow wouldnt be there. Then when the show started he got in the ring Explained how Al not being at the show was all the promoters fault. "If you came to see Al and want your money back go over to the ticket table and get your money back. But you can also stay and watch the entire show. If when it is over you are still upset or mad that Al wasn't here just go to the ticket table there is sheet. Leave me your email and name and for the rest of the year I will let you into one Battlezone show for free." As we were leaving I looked and saw there was 2 names on the sheet.

Last Friday and Saturday Battlezone Championship Wrestling had their annual Widowfest memorial event. Pops The Widowmaker owned Battlezone for years. Once he passed they created a two night event named after him. Once Pops passed his wife MS Dee and 2 sons Faroh of Phunk and Jesse Dalton took over running Battlezone,known back then as NWA Battlezone.Ms Dee passed 3 years ago.So this years Widowfest also had the Ms Dee Cup. Where each night of Widowfest there was a 15 man battle royale. The winner of each night would face each other in the first Ms Dee Cup memorial match. Thankfully Bodyslam Media Productions was at the show both nights. I made Night 2 and joined in on commentary for most of the matches. Highspots if worth the price just for all the shoots they have on the service. Add in all the full shows they got and it is my most used Wrestling service.

Reality of Wrestling has been a fun watch for over a year now. My local indie BIW uses some ROW talent off and on. Moonshine Mantell from ROW also works for SWE Fury outta Canton TX. They also have Andy Dalton and Barrett Brown. Airs on FITE app and Right Now TV.

Oddly locally all that is in short supply is toilet paper and hand sanitizers. Had to go on a TP run yesterday. Both of my parents are elderly and my father has bad lungs. So told them for the next few weeks to stay at home. Had to goto 5 stores to get some TP. Walmart was out. 3 Dollar Generals were out,Family Dollar was out. But found some at Walgreens. And to make this wrestling related Battlezone Wrestling is having their once a year big 2 day Widowfest show. Normally BZ draws maybe 50 people a show. Last night at night 1 of Widowfest ,after bringing in Al Snow,Dr Tom Prichard and Swoggle,they barely drew 100. EDIT-Forgot to hit send. Second night of Battlezone's Widowfest event happened.Drew 80 people. The lady doing the music had on a horrible perfume and it made me keep sneezing. But hey got to see a main event with Marvelous Monty Warbucks/Cassidy Riley vs Xtian Blake and DR TOM PRICHARD!!!

For the past 5 years been donning the Ultimo Guerrero mask and calling myself Ultimo Gallos while doing commentary work for a few small southern feds. And have always wanted a wrestling title belt,not a replica a legit one. Last year on May 4th Hoodmark Lucha Libre had their first,and sadly last show,Matt Cross beat Ricky Reyes for the title. The two guys that owned Hoodmark had a falling out. So one kept one of hte belts the other kept the other belt. About a month ago got a call asking if I wanted the belt. And it was the one Cross won. Was told to make an offer. I made a really really low offer and they accepted. So Leap Year 2020 I picked up the belt. Now Ultimo Gallos is the Hood Mark Lucha Libre Central American Champion!!

Just learned my local indy,Bayou Independent Wrestling,has booked Damien Wayne!!! and Kincaid for their July show in my town. So after hearing about and seeing clips of Wayne here on DVDVR for what feels like 20 years I will get to see him in person.

I love how supportive this place is. Cause of the fucked up weather down here,in Central MS we never really got winter this year,my depression has acted up a bit. Normally my cycle from depression to manic happens on a somewhat normal schedule. But with there being no real winter I have in some days cycled back and forth thru them. Thankfully I got a great support system locally. Good luck Eddie on the job hunt. And Natural always remember no matter what it will get better. Like my amazing lady tells me often "We are both broken,but put what pieces of us are leftover together and we are whole again."

Moonshine has mostly been working East TX based indies like VIP. BIW used him for a few years on their shows in LA and MS. Really nice guy that gets over with the crowds. I will look in a bit and see what of his matches I have filmed and uploaded.

Oh hell Moonshie is on MLW!!! DUde has been a blast to watch since 2014.

LOL they used Britani Nikole as one of the "fans" watching the Hawx Aire match. Britani just recently bought Elev8 Pro,which is a southern LA based fed that runs against Luke Hawx's Wildkat Sports in Southern LA. And years ago Britani was the ring announcer for Wildkat.

A friend of mine's dad managed to embezzle close to 1 million from Jackson County MS back in the early 90s. MS is fairly corrupt. But stories about the corruption rarely make national news.

If what is rumored is true this embezzlement ring is huge.
