  1. Because they need to protect Braun by not having people notice he has no heat when he's not beating up Roman or Sami (which is pretty much all he's done this year)
  2. Sasha going over was a bad move I think, unless they're planning on having her beat Alexa or having Bayley accidently on purpose cost Sasha the match. The two fueds that are built up in storyline are Sasha/Bayley and Alexa/Nia. Sasha and Bayley are jealous of each other and want to be the more successful of the duo. The only woman that worries Alexa is Nia and Nia's never really gotten an actual shot at Alexa.
  3. I think Jon has to really die at some point. My guess is when he and whoever brings the White Walker to King's Landing, Cersei will kill them all because Jon believes only in the White Walker threat and has continually ignored the threat from Cersei. His blindness to her will be his undoing.
  4. Her father is Ric Flair, she grew up watching her father in the 1990s. He probably had to justify a lot of shitty storylines involving him to her so she's grown to like shitty movies.
  5. My assumption was in WCW he was held back by WCW politics. In WWE, my guess is since he didn't work like a typical WWE big guy and didn't talk like a WWE big guy those were deal breakers to Vince. Add in the top was populated with Austin, Rock, Hunter, Angle and I assume many ECW loyalists still had a ton of resentment toward him. All of this made WWE a political minefield for Awesome so he was probably a miserable bastard until they fired him and he did a few Japanese tours.
  6. This was classic overconfident babyface monster vs. small babyface underdog. The monster takes the underdog lightly (BoT looks amused at first and doesn't go that hard), the underdog uses their speed to their advantage (Ninja Arya), monster gets semi-serious (BoT finally putting some weight behind her strikes, forcing Arya to drop Needle) and the underdog survives when the time limit draw occurs (BoT has sword to Arya's face just as Arya gets Catspaw at BoT's neck). As long as BoT gets to smash some White Walkers or Lannister men in the upcoming episodes she'll be fine.
  7. I don't see any way you stop Shawn from getting the big win in 1996. Now I wouldn't have given him another reign after it though.
  8. But the Jags have an Interception Machine starting, a guy who can't get the ball past the line of scrimmage, and someone I assume is not a real person.
  9. Who in their right mind decided having a Jags/Pats joint practice session was a good idea? Did we really need this to visually explain the difference between the best team in the league and the worst?
  10. What if Bulldog actually gets the title in 1995? I mean I know there's 0% chance Vince gives up on Diesel so quickly but what if Bulldog wins the Rumble, wins the belt at Mania 11 from Big Daddy Cool and holds it until SummerSlam when we get the SummerSlam 92 rematch between Bret/Bulldog where Davey Boy drops the belt to Bret
  11. Logic dictates that Corbin should pick up the win over Cena since he's going out of his way to bring down Corbin but WWE logic dictates that Cena has to go over if Corbin is cashing it later in the evening. I wonder if WWE would do something screwy like having Nak/Jinder go on before Cena/Corbin so the WWE Title changes hands three times in one night Jinder -> Nakamura ->Corbin -> Cena .
  12. So with Bayley out are they just gonna roll with the Nia Jax face turn and championship?
  13. Well I mean they are headed to New York soon or they could just fly the Fashion Police to her
  14. Corbin cashing in is fine because then you could have AJ eventually win the belt at the Rumble and Nak win the Rumble setting up AJ/Nak at WrestleMania for the WWE Title and Nak can get the big celebration at Mania.
  15. I think Orton's in this weird place where he knows he's not getting the belt any time soon so he wants to work with certain people and would be willing to put them over. I could see the match ending screwy where Rusev cheats and Orton passes out in the Accolade. Or WWE continues this trend of ex-wrestlers costing Orton matches and Vladimir Koslov returns and helps Rusev win.
  16. So what will be Cris Cyborg's involvement in SummerSlam? The only thing I can think of is there will be a Becky/Cyborg faceoff. Carmella and Ellsworth will interrupt and the segment ends with Cyborg KOing Carmella and Becky making Ellsworth tap out.
  17. This whole thing is going to end with Jason Jordan hooking up with Kurt's wife isn't it?
  18. Wasn't it explained that Oleanna and Ellaria aren't in charge with titles but they are effectively the ones in charge because they control the men in charge from their respective countries?
  19. So I'm wondering if Nattie winning means we're getting some version of WWE Four Horsewomen vs. MMA Four Horsewomen at SummerSlam. Though I wonder if they would have attempted to go with Becky Lynch vs. Cris Cyborg too.
  20. It's a bad thing when people say you should be on the level of Hulk Hogan/Steve Austin/John Cena. But yeah I agree having a Big Show/Kane WWE career is not a bad thing at all, especially if you can remain healthy and save your money well.
  21. The problem with a big monster staying over is eventually they have to lose and when they do, they need to be compelling characters to stay over. Historically, the WWE has struggled with keeping monsters over without using supernatural powers. I think Braun's trajectory is closer to the Big Show's than say Undertaker.
  22. I don't get people thinking Braun has a high ceiling. I think Braun is the embodiment of the anti-Roman fanbase and when he's paired up against someone who isn't Roman Reigns, he's not going be anywhere near as over as people think he should be.
  23. Balor. He's the only one on the roster not named Roman Reigns that is at a level where beating Brock would help him and has the look of someone I want on TV as a face of my company if I were Vince
  24. http://deadspin.com/dante-fowler-jr-allegedly-punched-a-guy-stomped-on-hi-1797053863 At least I won't have to put up with "The Jaguars have won the offseason" stories again.
