Will have to catch the show in full tomorrow. Enjoyed parts of the show any way. Lashley vs Drew is always good. Matt vs Jeff should just continue forever.

*Show opened with new TNA World Champ Lashley cutting a promo about being the most dominant champion. Lashley said tonight is Gold Rush but no one would want to face him. Ethan Carter III interrupted to challenge Lashley. Lashley mocked EC3 and said he would beat him tonight. Drew Galloway interrupted and told EC3 to get in line because he's using his rematch clause tonight.

*Jeff Hardy def. Eli Drake via DQ when Matt Hardy interfered and bit referee Earl Hebner's hands. After the match, Jeff and Matt end up brawling in the crowd until Reby sprays Jeff with a fire extinguisher and Matt sends him in to a table. Matt vs. Jeff in a steel cage is announced for next week.

*Backstage, Drew & EC3 talk about earlier. Drew says EC3 will get his title shot but it will be against him.

*Eddie Edwards def. Trevor Lee (w/ Gregory Shane Helms)  to retain the X Division Title

*Backstage, Lashley tells EC3 to watch what he does to Drew tonight because the same will happen to him.

*Dixie Carter announced Gail Kim as the 2016 inductee into the TNA Hall of Fame.

*Backstage, Jeremy Borash interviewed Marti Bell who said she attacked Jade because she won the title and forgot about their friendship. Jade attacked Marti and laid her out.

*Decay def. The BroMans, The Tribunal, and Grado & Mahabali Shera to retain the tag team titles.

*Maria & Mike Bennett come to the ring for a promo, complaining about Slammiversary and the fans. They call out Dixie but Billy Corgan comes out. Corgan says they are the future but they can handle this in a meeting not in the ring. Maria insists on wanting Dixie so she comes out. Maria and Dixie argue. Maria gets in Dixie's face until she slaps her down and leaves.

*Lashley def. Drew Galloway to retain the TNA World Title via submission after EC3 accidentally hit Drew with a steel chair.

 

Lashley as heel champ is awesome. He came off fantastic in the opening promo and throughout the show.  Liked Jeff/Eli a lot. Drake shines in longer competitive matches and Jeff still rules.  Everything with the Hardys is greatness. Matt's last promo ending with him making faces was gold. Very cool HOF video for Gail.

Great to see Gail get the Hall of Fame honor. Totally deserved.

It's great for her, though I still have that nagging feeling TNA won't be around for her to give the induction speech.  At least she gave a speech Tuesday in case the bottom drops out for TNA.  On the positive side, she does very much deserve it.
