  1. Fun 8 man tag main event of Collision and post-match setup for Acclaimed/FTR. Big pop for Hologram wiping out Mark Sterling at ringside. Hologram/Mistico made a good team. I liked Fletcher/Cage a lot. Deonna's my fav so I love the Deonna/Thunder saga and can definitely get hyped for a Texas Bullrope match next week.
  2. 3. The opening trios tag was indeed a fun one, pretty quick and fast paced. Good furthering of Josh Alexander's new heel direction throughout the show. I dig how there's various guys all with different angles of gunning for the world title in Josh, Santana, Hendry, Moose, etc. Nemeth/Ali was a solid main event match. Reportedly this was Ali finishing up with TNA. I wasn't a fan of him initially, but ended up enjoying his brief run here. the Wedding was an amusing end to the show and a nice way to add Cardona back in to the mix.
  4. A solid first defense for the new six man champs opens this week. Leila Grey being the new manager of Top Flight was random but an interesting addition. Robyn Renegade vs. Maya World was quick but good. Anthony Henry is joined by cousin BEEF. Loving the Beast Mortos getting continuously increasing reactions. Pretty spectacular match here against AR Fox. Fox always delivers when he pops up at random and Mortos is on fire. Yuta vs Anthony Henry was good stuff. Nese & Daivari squashing Tommy Mars & Nikki Eight was amusing for Riccaboni & Caprice trying to make as many Motley Crue references as possible on commentary. Brian Cage vs Rocky Romero was a nice longer main event match. Sammy Guevara has arrived on ROH! Ending the show with a longer promo segment was different but a cool moment to have a return on ROH.
  5. thought this was a really great Dynamite all the way through. Solid MJF/Ospreay opening setting up MJF/Fletcher for what looks like a stacked next week then flowing right in to Ospreay/Archer which was awesome as that pairing almost always is. As always I wish Archer was consistently kept around at this level. Bryan/Swerve promo segment was excellent. Didn't love the officially putting the career on line part for the stip but enjoyed both guy's mic work as a whole. LOVE that we are going to get the Bryan/Jarrett first time dream match. Trios match was a blast. Felt like a huge win for The Beast Mortos who is on fire this past week. Beating Komander at DBD but then losing to Hologram the next night, this definitely made me wanna see a Beast Mortos/Mark Briscoe feud for the ROH title. Main event was epic and kinda shocked me with the outcome as I figured Hangman would get the win. Nice big win for Darby instead. Was surprised to see Darby immediately put in another match for Collision right after but I'm down with that. Looking forward to what else gets announced for Collision/Rampage as usual.
  6. I am ALL IN on Shane O Mac doing anything in AEW and I'm here for Shane O vs. the entire roster, anyone and everyone. Especially if he's in 2016-17 showstealer form.
  7. Solid opening tag from the All American Girls vs. Animal Instinct. Nice match from Genesis vs. GI Jane, two of my favorites in the lower/mid card. Likewise, Coach/Lil J was good. Stephy should've just accompanied Lil J, knowing Top Tier would be ringside. Main event was a decent quick defense for the tag champs, mostly to set up Miami Sweet Heat challenging again next which I highly look forward to.
  8. Catching up on the last 2 events. July 20 card had some awesome finishes, ending with Jandiroba's super slick transition to the armbar. Remember the Name! Happy for Belal to get the win as it felt like it took forever for him to get this title shot. Thought Bruna Brasil looked amazing on the prelims, great performance.
  9. Erica Leigh, she's had a couple matches on Honor this year and on AEW Dark in previous years. Agreed definitely, she's appeared with them on and off, but hopefully the pairing sticks together. I've heard not a ton but a decent amount and have enjoyed all that I've listened to of them, absolute jams for sure.
  10. Great catch! It is indeed Dance with the Dead's "The Man Who Made a Monster", awesome theme and definitely adds to their presentation.
  11. I can't tag people, but this came up in the thread late last year: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sXFlOuIdCXk CM Punk unearths the 2003 dark match of Punk & Doug Delicious vs. The Road Warriors
  12. This is indeed the case. Tony said on the post-DBD media scrum that he's come to the realization that ROH would have a lot more value as AEW Ring of Honor, saying it would benefit from even more association and that it's not crazy to think ROH could be televised in the WBD family. Sad but true! As of last week, reports say it was a cost cutting move to the new Mikey Rukus original "Red Light is On (Let's Go)"
  13. I thought Collision was a lot fun. Orange/Johnny a solid opener, then Hologram/Beast Mortos absolutely ruled. Great match and had the crowd hot. Loved FTR/MxM. First weekend in, MxM Collection feel like a potentially excellent addition to things and seem to be getting over with the crowds already. Pac/Lio felt a bit random for a main event, but good match regardless. Battle of the Belts main event made for a great moment for Dustin and the Von Erichs, fun trios match.

  15. As others have said, I was definitely wanting a Jarrett win in the Royal Rampage especially being in Nashville. Nice that he got to go close to the end though and had to be cost by interference. Would've loved a one off Jarrett title shot vs Swerve or Bryan at Grand Slam. Do still hope we at least get one Jarrett/Bryan singles match at some point along the way. Collision has ended up with an interesting lineup. The Beast Mortos as Hologram's second opponent, MxM Collection going straight after FTR, Pac/Lio Rush should rule, and Orange vs Johnny TV. Then Battle of the Belts is more Title Eliminators than Title Matches with Deonna/Willow and Toni/Taya, but we will crown new ROH Six Man champs.
  16. Pretty decent Zero Hour. thought MxM Collection looked good in their debut, but surprised to see they're being immediately thrown in with FTR already tomorrow now. Welcome in Melissa Santos to the backstage interview team. Beast Mortos/Komander was an awesome opener as expected filled with crazy spots and Komander dives. Reminded me of the previous Mortos/Vikingo opener on ROH PPV. Good showcase win for Mortos to get and now he gets to be Hologram's 2nd opponent tomorrow night. Tag title match was really good. Kyle and Ishii's total elimination ruled. Leyla vs. Diamante was an absolutely epic bloodbath, definitely lived up to expectations. Iconic hardcore performance from Leyla with her missed moonsault into the thumbtacks, then putting herself through barbed wire with an apron samoan drop, and ultimately finishing with a ladder moonsault through a table. Awesome brawl. Yuta vs. Moriarty turned in a really great Pure title match. I was shocked by the title change as I didn't expect that at all as I figured this was more just Yuta getting back in to the mix of defending again. Moriarty dropping Yuta over the top straight down on the apron looked brutal. They got a lot of time and both using up all their rope breaks added to the drama. Nice crowd reaction for it. Thought Velvet vs Billie was very good as well. Another I was shocked by the title change, didn't see any chance Billie would lose her first big defense but an epic win for Red. Thought it was a great finishing stretch with Billie trying to fake the injury again backfiring this time. Dustin & the Von Erichs make a fun trios, would be down with them as champs. Thought it was odd that Kyle Fletcher wasn't in Survival of the Fittest since he got involved earlier and never got a TV title rematch. The match was a pretty fun multi man spotfest. Loved the dive train ending with Brian Cage's big flip dive to a big pop and then a tease of a Shane Taylor dive. Was sad to see Taylor the first one eliminated though. Big Shotty's elimination looked killer. the Cage/Johnny TV sequences reminded me of their Impact feud. Nice win and retain for Atlantis overall. Billie losing her title and then Athena/Aminata not main eventing had me leaning more towards Athena retaining. Turned in to another pretty great Athena defense. In a different scenario I would've thought Aminata was the best choice if anyone was going to beat Athena, I'm good with the reign continuing towards 600 days but always wonder who else is left to challenge. Mark and Roderick put on a great main event as would be expected. Overall another really good show, always love the ROH PPVs ROH Death Before Dishonor full results:
  17. Miami Sweet Heat vs Aussie & Tormenta was excellent! Wild match with some awesome spots throughout. Tormenta crushed with the double kneedrop and then the double suicide dives with Aussie was killer. Miami Sweet Heat are on fire in everything from the promo to the match and back to the mic. I guess the ref decided to let the match become no DQ when Vicki Lynn just start wiping people out and then MSH hit the Fab Jab for the win. Great match and definitely one of the longer ones for WOW. Holly Swag was hilarious on commentary, loved that. Sierra/Fury was fun, some nice unique moves and the finishing cross body got some huge air. Sugar & Spice are always exciting and I liked the double finish from Las Bandidas, another nice quick match. Beast/Penelope with a pretty great main event. Penelope can always be relied on for going longer. The twisting apron german was definitely crazy. With new tapings taking place next month, I assume these tapings are ending soon and Vicki Lynn was leaving with the Tongas, so it will be interesting to see what's up next.
  18. Kamille officially gets the graphic
  19. Loved the Blood and Guts as usual with that match every year, thought most everything worked out pretty well and did a good job furthering the feuds within the match. Lots of excellent spots throughout. Always enjoy Britt/Shida matches. This one maybe not as great as some of their previous, but still good. Shida busting out a full sequence from the Yakuza game was cool. Jericho/Suzuki ruled. As did the Mariah/Toni pull apart. Great to see Kamille officially become ALL Elite, pairing with Mercedes should be killer for sure. Nothing announced yet for Collision but looking forward a weekend of Death Before Dishonor/the Royal Rampage/Collision/Battle of the Belts
  20. Decent little show coming out of Slammiversary. Nothing too major happened but some stuff set up nicely for next week. the main event was a solid trios match that got a lot of time.
  21. Paul Wight is now on the ROH Board of Directors! Hopefully this is used more than when Jerry Lynn/stokely were like dueling GMs. Solid opening tag of Yuta/Claudio vs Moriarty/Ogogo. Fun final segment for the women's title matches. Leaning towards an Aminata win at the moment but being in Athena's home still gives me some doubts. Nice debut for EJ Nduka. Shane Taylor/Johnny TV vs. Atlantis JR/Lio Rush was good stuff. 10 man tag was fun with Fuego's return. Pretty good Von Erichs/Dark Order main event. Didn't realize that vacating the trios titles also undid the unification too. The PPV cards always come together strong in the end, looking like another good one. Final card for Death Before Dishonor as of now:
  22. Tony announced the Royal Rampage returns on Friday as well. Last year was for a TNT shot at All Out, this year is for a World Title shot at Grand Slam
