Dustin & Sammy beat the Frat House to open this week's tag team heavy episode, Dark Order come after the Frat House kinda randomly waiting to the very end of the match. Gates of Agony have a more extended squash over Deonn Rusman and the former Von Wagner, Cal Bloom, who looked pretty good. the Outrunners beat the Premier Athletes, and then the Infantry beat the Dark Order with the Frat House's distraction. Lee Moriarty vs AR Fox for the Pure Title was a fun main event. Moriarty uses a submission in the ropes to retain, ending this episode at just under an hour. Last night the social pages were advertising another Lucha trios but it did not air.

Chantilly/Paola was fun and then Holidead pretty much squashed Sylvia. I like the announcement that they are going with the 4 way for the tag titles. Loved the build to Genesis chasing Classmaster, but was depressing that she ended up just getting beat just like that and that was it. Felt like an odd/flat way to end things there and not having Genesis at least win a shot at the title. Main event was awesome with the super hot start and the crowd was way in to it. Thought it was weird that it was non title and then mostly 3 on 2, but nice to see the faces pick up the win. -
The women's Owen seems tough to call with Mercedes and Athena on the same side of the bracket. Nobody jumps out as an obvious Toni opponent to win, or Bayne could win the title before. While I'm sticking with/rooting for Ospreay in the men's. Tornado opener was a lot of fun, as was Penelope/Toni. Loving Penelope's continued involvement and the build up to Toni/Megan. Ospreay/Knight ruled as a team and I'm glad to see Archer get some shine even with Cage out. Solid main event from Cope/Claudio and I loved the chaotic ending with the Hangman/Swerve confrontation feeling like an important moment.

Apparently it was a David Wolff project that only did those two songs which is how they ended up reused on the wrestling albums. Guitarist Vernie Taylor said Jive Soul Bro was originally to be titled "Jive Mo' Fo" but the company wouldn't release it with that title.

It's a cover of the original by Captain Chameleon from 1981, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fWCJOvhFHHQ same as Slick's "Jive Soul Bro" being a cover of their original "Jive Ol' Fo".

Loved all the various women's segments for different feuds throughout Collision. The way Penelope came in to frame on the attack of Toni was awesome, she's been killing it as of late. I mark for Robyn Renegade so I love any time she gets on, which hasn't been as often as of late. One of my top favs. Excited to see potential progress in aligning with Mercedes which was rumored some time ago. I was hoping they wouldn't try to rush Athena/Mercedes onto Dynasty, I don't know if they'll wait to All In as I'd like the most, but I hope to see a nice build up to it. Digging the continuation of the Queen/Serena story, and a fun different main event from Hayter and Billie. -
Masha vs Jacy ruled, always love to see Jacy get any chance to shine so I'm glad to see she'll be back next week as well. Will have high hopes for the eventual Masha/Tessa match. Pretty good main event from Nic vs Leon.

Dark Panther vs Okumura is a solid opener this week. Willie Mack joins the tag champs for a trios win over Johnny TV & MxM, then gets laid out in the post-match attack while MxM steal one of Dustin's titles again. Nice little highlights package of Taya & Lady Frost teaming up in CMLL. Athena & Diamante quick tag squash of Jordan Blu & Mazzerati in Diamante's minion tryout. the Frat House help the Premier Athletes beat the Dark Order. a couple of video promos furthers the QT/Paul Walter Hauser feud. Atlantis Jr pins Barbario Cavernario in this week's lucha trios main event. Decent amount packed in to an hour and 11 mins or so.

Omega/Blake was shorter than expected but a nice way to start the show, enjoyed the Omega/Speedball back and forth. Then Fletcher/Brody get the time with two breaks, liked how that flowed in to Hobbs/Davis. Takeshita/Briscoe ruled and a really fun main event. Thundertits is an epic team, but I really like the Penelope/Bayne pairing as well and Penelope ending up in a main event is cool to see. Guessing Bandido is taking the ROH title from Jericho at Dynasty. edit: Forgot to mention but I loved seeing an intro video back on Dynamite, even if I still wish we got more than one week of "I'm so Excited" as the theme -
Saraya's AEW debut will always be one of my favorite moments and all time best crowd pops. Glad she got to have her All In moment while she was there.

Miami Sweet Heat will always be my fav team but Animal Instinct has become pretty great right behind them, nice to see the fans get behind them when having to choose between the heel teams. Fun trios tag and I'm loving the Daisy Lane character change for the former Pep. Solid build up to the Mother vs Daughter main event which turned in a fun match. -
Looks like it will be the April 16 Dynamite in Boston as #289. they're calling it AEW Spring BreakThru and Tony says they will celebrate becoming the longest running

Just confirmed: ROH Supercard of Honor will be May 2 in Atlantic City, NJ. Not running WM weekend this time.

Another super fun lucha trios tag, this week is the opener. Mistico, Neon, & Fuego make a pretty great face team. La Catalina with a nice win over Viva Van. Quick squashes from Mortos/Dralistico and Satnam Singh while Top Flight beat Aaron Solo & QT. AR Fox vs. Kevin Knight was pretty awesome as they go to a 10 minute draw. Very good main event from Komander defending the TV title over Dark Panther. Short but solid episode.

4 way was a super fun opener. I figured Ricochet to win but I can dig the triple threat. Loving Speedball's run already, great exchanges with Orange. Mercedes/Billie was excellent. Enjoyed the chaos of Moxley/Cope. I'm with Ospreay for All In, digging the importance being put on the Owen Cup. Good main, Bayne/Toni will rule.

First three matches were all short but fun. Catalina looked good and Paola/Abilene are great together. Blaze & Kai are doing very well as a team. Thought Mirage shined here as well. Definitely digging Blaze & the Dojo Defenders as possibly being the trio to beat Top Tier. Xena Phoenix, the Albanian Grappler looked good. Scout remains my favorite undercard talent that never wins but always has solid outings. Enjoyed the main event, nice defense for Classmaster, and Genesis ruled on commentary. Highly looking forward to Genesis getting her eventual shot. -
Big fan of that one! While it's cool that the Hardys get to use their original theme everywhere now, I always loved the era of Jeff using his own music as themes. Similar Creatures was indeed his 2012 theme. "Modest" was his original TNA debut theme for the first few years, "Another Me" was when he turned heel in 2010-11, always thought that was an awesome song and super underrated theme as the run only lasted maybe 6 months. "Resurrected" was when he returned from suspension in 2011 while Matt used an instrumental version of "Reptilian" as his TNA theme once he came in. Jeff later made "Willow's Way" for his brief run as his Willow character in 2014 and then the great "Obsolete" for the Broken Hardys run.
