Overall this felt like some of those A&E biographies at times focusing on the history of WWE with all that's been gone over already. Enjoyed some of the Shane O parts the most and felt worth the watch. I think my favorite part overall was Vince saying he didn't remember a 99 lawsuit with Sable at all, then they show a clip of it coming up in storyline in 2003, and Vince just says "All I remember is.... she came back to work". Hysterical. Also episode 2 opening up with Stand BACK!

Fun opening tag and trios matches, and Gresham/Laredo was a very good little match. Lei Ying Lee looked solid in her debut. Pretty good main event, Hendry/Nemeth is an interesting BFG main event. Being face vs face has me wondering if Nemeth ends up turning at all with JBL involvement or if Hendry just wins the big one there.

Nice Action Andretti/Tony Deppen opener. Abadon squash in a minute followed by Brian Cage in action and a fun Athena/Billie tag squash that ends with Abadon chasing them off. Liked the little backstage face off promo setting up Red Velvet vs Diamante. Johnny TV vs. Komander was pretty good with some fun sequences throughout. Pure title main event of Moriarty over Preston Vance felt super quick, but the Pure Rules timer on screen was all over the place suddenly showing 15, then back to 12 at the end but it never went that long.

Thought Bryan/Nigel was pretty epic and lived up. Loved the entrance fakeout until the proper Final Countdown hit. Enjoyed the finish and the commentary's reaction to Nigel thanking Bryan as he tapped. Sad to see the end of the FTW title, randomly out of nowhere like that. Good match to go out on, but I liked it as sort of the hardcore title of AEW and thought it could've had more life to it. Great fun tag match with the usual Callis screws things up with the weapon refusal. Mariah/Yuka was short but enjoyable, surprised to see Mina just appear in between Stardom events but always good to see. Excited to have MVP in the mix. Very good main event with an excellent looking finish in the Avalanche Death Rider counter. Sucks for Darby to lose his Royal Rampage shot, but Moxley/Bryan wrestleDream should rule. -
correct, next BOTB coming up will be airing after Collision on October 19

While probably the least amount of participants this year, still a huge accomplishment to be victorious! Thanks for running it. For the first time I saw 6 of these movies in theatres so I felt more involved. Biggest surprise for me is probably Furiosa being so middle of the pack in box office, the Crow I knew would be low RT but thought morbid curiosity would kick it up the box office a lot more than that. the Watchers & MaxXxine were my two underrated favs that I knew I would enjoy in theatre while not doing big numbers, but was sad to see MaXXXine get such a lower score compared to X & Pearl before it.

Great night for Masha Slamovich. Loved her reveal that she could understand/speak English and the crowd getting behind her babyface turn, then uniting with the Hardys for the main event ruled. She was on fire there. Cool the Fiend facepaint from Jeff. Also love seeing Tasha Steelz get to be in the main event mix anytime. Liked how the opening seg tied together several different rivalries at once. Santana/JDC was a nice bloody brawl around the arena in the Texas Deathmatch.

Red Velvet vs Allysin Kay is a pretty good 5 minute proving grounds opener. Bunch of squashes from Gates of Agony, Preston Vance, John Silver. Rachael Ellering looked good in hers over Maggie Lee. Decent little tag from the Infantry vs Angelico & Serpentico. More squashes with Anthony Ogogo and Brian Cage. Solid main event from Dustin & Sammy over the Dark Order, with a post-match attack from Cage of Agony. This week it's back to a just over one hour episode.

Really enjoyed Orange/Jericho in the opener, loved Jericho's catch in to powerslam. Women's tag was shorter than expected but fun while it lasted. Really digging the build to Ospreay/Ricochet thus far and should be an epic for the 5 year anniversary event. Jarrett is the best, absolutely loving his rivalry wtih Hangman. Very good main event trios match. -
I love seeing Robyn Renegade go three in a row this week with matches on ROH, Rampage, and then Collision for a nice little hometown pop. One of my top favorites to watch. Enjoyed all things Yuka and can definitely get behind a Serena/Aminata feud. Dug the Anna Jay Stardom highlights video, I hope she benefits greatly from her excursion.

I was absolutely devastated to learn we no longer have Lauren Hunkele, my favorite ring announcer in all of wrestling these past few years. She was the best and will be missed terribly. Other than that, new season was looking good. Great start with the trios titles match, everybody looked good here. Very cool to see the Island Girl Tracy Taylor join the mix, great veteran addition. Agreed on the Fury solo talk, made me wonder if Rebel Haze is gonna be gone now too. Poor Ice Cold almost always on the losing end, would like to see her post-match angle lead somewhere good. Animal Instinct v Mighty Mights ruled, two of the best teams going. Main event was the usual goods from Penelope and Aussie. Jessie Jones did have a good point about never getting a title shot while Penelope has gotten multiple shots at every single champion to hold it since she did. Aussie's cutter out of the corner and Penelope's eventual finish both looked killer here. -

ugh. so sick of fucking shevchenko. Too bad Alexa isn't going to get a rematch and another rematch and one more rematch to make sure she's champion again. Hate this show -

TNA+ Victory Road - 9/13/24
DreamBroken replied to DreamBroken's topic in TNA WRESTLING (Though it forever be Impact)
After being surprised to see Wentz win the X title 2 weeks ago, now I'm surprised to see him drop it back so quick. Seemed random but a good match as would be expected. Good for Spitfire to stay together, though sad to see the end of MaLisha, but at the same time I love seeing Tasha Steelz get any sort of spot again so that part rules. Thought Hendry/Alexander was pretty great, shocking to see a submission finish but a huge win for Hendry. Crowd seemed super hot for him here. Had a feeling the System would win the tag titles back after last night's loss, setting up either the Hardys challenging at BFG or a multi-team match. Jordynne/Wendy was pretty good. Nice to get a little Santino/Arianna father daughter segment backstage. Very good main event from Nemeth and Moose to end a pretty good show. the JBL involvement remains intriguing. full results TNA Victory Road: -

Maclin/Hammerstone was a pretty quick opener but sets up an interesting tag. Heather Reckless looked good in her debut/Gisele Shaw's farewell. Good further setups for Victory Road which came together pretty quick. Pretty great main event tag from the Hardys vs the System TNA iMPACT 9/12/24 full results

Atlantis Jr. vs Peter Avalon opens this week in a solid proving grounds. Aminata vs. Harley Cameron ruled, loved the post-match backstage bit with Rachael Ellering mocking how Harley acted towards her last time. Fun squashes from Top Flight & the Outrunners, with the Outrunners making peace with the Infantry after. a Robyn Renegade squash is always great, she's awesome. Good to see Willie Mack back, good match vs Exodus Prime. Lots more squashes in between. Nice main event of Lio Rush v Rocky Romero. I think this is supposed to be the end of the separate Arlington sessions.

RIP to longtime indy wrestler Micah Taylor at the age of 47. He worked OVW & Deep South in the mid 00s https://slamwrestling.net/index.php/2024/09/12/indy-veteran-micah-taylor-dead-at-47/

Perry's finishing knees on Lio looked great. Mariah/Aminata was solid. Loved the Hangman/Jarrett segment. Bryan/Nigel finally happening after all is the best. Ospreay remains the Casino King in this new gauntlet format, him & Fletcher vs the Bucks should be a lot of fun. Huge pop for the Outrunners definitely had me kinda wanting the upset there.

Animal Instinct continue to rule as a team. Goldie is awesome and thought Katarina shined here with her. Guess that's finally the last Tonga Twins match after their blowup with WOW seems so long ago now. Classmaster's big bumps were amusing in the Santana match. Excited for the "new arena, new superheroes" hype for next week kicking off the new season. -
