There was a documentary released six or so years ago called "The Posterist" about Yuen Tai Yung, the artist who did the movie posters for a lot of mostly Golden Harvest films, starting with Bruce Lee and then on to Jackie, Sammo and the Hui Brothers. One of them is Last Hurrah for Chivalry which famously gives away the ending to the movie. Really interesting, made by one of the sons of the Huis. Trying to figure how LIJ vs KONGO will play out. Naito vs Kenoh, Takagi vs Nakajima, SANADA vs Soya seem natural but is it still too early to go all the way with some of these? If Titan is back they can do Hi69 and Ohara vs BUSHI and Titan. That would leave Hiromu vs TADASUKE which is kind of weird. Or Hiromu for Titan and then TADASUKE is just kind of there. And then the main event? Okada/Kaito vs ?? Tanahashi? Is it not time to put Jake in there? They surely can't do Okada/Tanahashi vs Kaito/Jake.

OK, nothing was actually learned from watching the backstage clip other than that it will be a singles series, possibly at the Yokohama Wrestle Kingdom show. Oh, and Kenoh comes off a bit whiny.

Hase (remember, he is the governor of Ishikawa prefecture) straight up lied to the press in early December during a press conference where he said that he would be taking some private time off during the New Year's break. Someone asked if he was so tan because he was training for a pro wrestling match and he said was not and that he was only training (and tanning) as a way to ward off covid. He later said that he would be a pro wrestler until he died.
