  1. No, that was first season winner Richard Hatch. Gervase originated the "be everybody's pal and you can get away with murder" social strategy.
  2. Who do you have in your pool? Rumor has it that Gervase, Aras and Tina set up an alliance going into the show.
  3. Julie Chen : (after Howard's answer about the racist comments) Spencer, how do you respond to that? Spencer : Well, that's unfortunate, it's too bad if comments people made reflect badly on the show and bring negative attention to it. (pause) Ummm, did I say something, Julie? Julie : We don't have time to get into that! Andy winning was the only logical choice for winner of this season ... so of course that moment had to be crapped up by following it with the America's Favorite Player vote. Thank you, voters, for giving $100K to Elissa for the difficult task of being Rachel Reilly's sister, her absolute only contribution to the season besides crying over how unfair everything was and changing her mind every 5 minutes.
  4. Just getting caught up and listening to this one, I have missed the past few C4 shows (lack of funds) but will be going to the next one , unfortunately am now somewhat dreading it. The crowd has gotten pretty bad but it has usually been restricted to one section and they usually don't make the charity shows. Sounds like it got out of control and the in ring action was pandering to that particular lowest common denominator. I'll still try to keep going to their shows but I am hating that it is getting ruined by these pinheads.
  5. From Rob Cesternino (from Survivor Amazon) 's podcast with Ian Terry (winner of Big Brother 14) : Rob C. : So, worst Final 3 ever? Ian T. : (Long pause) ...................... yes.
  6. Not sure if "Guy with small role in big movie shows up in earlier small role in crappy B-movie" qualifies for this thread, but I got a chuckle out of spotting the guy who played Maynard (the pawn shop owner) in Pulp Fiction making an appearance as Roadrash in MST3K "classic" Hobgoblins.
  7. Wasn't sure where to put this besides here. Getting caught up on listening to the Wrestling Party podcasts, just wanted to correct one error that came up in Podcast #18. Col. Debeers was not the original manager of the Truth Commission in WWE, the Commandant was played by a South African actor named Robin Smith who got the job as a friend of Bret Hart.
