  1. I guess that's just Wyatt's thing, he wants to turn the good guys and the heroes completely heel. Didn't he basically to do it to Kane and almost did it to Bryan as well?
  2. I'm all for Taker retiring now. I think he should've retired after the second Triple H match to make it an even 20.
  3. The Wyatt match was pretty spectacular. Props to the crowd for figuring out a way to sing "John Cena Sucks" to Cena's music theme. Cena's reaction when he realized what was happening was hilarious. The Wyatts are pretty amazing. I didn't think much of Husky Harris on NXT, but he's really tapped into something here. I think that just speaks of how fucking terrible NXT is and how shitty WWE writers are. Apparently all the Wyatt stuff is stuff that Wyatt comes up with and he does it all himself. Which is how it should be done. Also in I don't know how many years, I'd like to see some sort of documentary with the McMahons and Triple H coming clean about what the plan was for this year and why they had to change everything and why they thought they had to do it the other way. Maybe it can be on the Daniel Bryan DVD.
  4. Thanks for pointing that out. I thought that was the Watergate hotel in the background when it was like juxtaposed from the view of the SHIELD office. Thought that was a cleverly done shot. Like SHIELD is in the shadow of Watergate.
  5. Does anyone know what fans were singing in Barrett vs. Mysterio?
  6. No, the show was pre-empted last night because of WrestleMania. Sunday will pick things up with Nattie getting nasal surgery and all that.
  7. Overall a good show. Bryan's post-match promo was awesome. The War Games thing is a great idea and I hope they do it at Extreme Rules. If I have one complaint its...who did Samien Sandow piss off?
  8. I was reading before the Lombard fight he thought had one fight on his contract, I guess they meant after the Lombard fight. Shields and his manager really shouldn't be surprised.
  9. I could care less about a Sting vs. the Streak match because Sting is 56 and his in-ring performance is nil these days. And it's been that way for almost 10 years. All I really want is Sting to get a HOF induction and some new Sting DVD's.
  10. I think I found WWE Reddit guy He's like the new Kent Jones
  11. Rock Wrestlemania babies were probably made last night.
  12. I think big guys letting him do his moves on them also really helped. How can you not love a guy who does the Big Swing in Khali?
  13. To me, The Shield kind of turned out how I wish Nexus did.
  14. Well isn't this a matter of his contract was up and they chose not to renew? Honestly good riddance. I don't hate Shields or anything but he's a one dimensional fighter and he continued to be a one dimensional fighter in the UFC. Now don't get me wrong, he beat some talented dudes. And he was so good at that one thing he was able to beat a lot of people, but when he runs into guys that are better at that one thing or more well rounded, he gets embarrassed. He's never going to get any better. Fighters don't really change or evolve at this point in their careers. He got his chance against GSP and looked like utter dog shit.
  15. I think he has beaten him if you count those handicap matches in like 2002 or 2003-ish. Michelle McCool from last night http://wrestleshare.com/?di=32WU
  16. Cesaro becoming such a big star is still kind of surreal to me. I still can't believe he beat Orton completely clean on Smackdown and the fans were really up for it too. I always liked Claudio, but after what happened with Cabana and Hero I just wasn't sure I ever foresaw him getting to this level.
  17. I think that's possible. And I don't think that was worth the risk. I saw HBK/Undertaker live at WrestleMania 25 and I for a second thought after HBK kicked out of the last ride and the tombstone that maybe it would happen. And I was excited because I would've loved to have seen HBK do it. HBK doing it, fans wouldn't have hated him because he's HBK I think. Bryan as much as we all love Bryan isn't really HBK's level yet. I think the streak was so beloved that that no matter who ended, even it was say HBK, there would've been backlash though. Even though this is a pre-determined, fake sport people actually got behind and believed in this unbeaten streak like it was real and it could never be broken. In terms of matches this show wasn't the best, but in terms of moments it is one of my favorite WrestleManias.
  18. http://www.wwe.com/shows/wrestlemania/30/daniel-bryan-wrestlemania-diary/day-6-26218433 Bryan's fur lined boots were an homage to Bruiser Brody. That's him and Regal right?
  19. I really have no problem with Lesnar beating Undertaker. I think someone like Roman Reigns beating Undertaker at this point could be a make or break moment or burden to his career that he doesn't need. If Bryan had done it this year, people might have hated him for it. Fans were going to get angry and ticked off about this no matter what, so it's better it was someone like Lesnar. The streak had become downright comical to me because it was almost as revered as like the World Series or something. People had truly talked themselves into believing it would never end and it would be great to have this legacy of a giant 20-plus year winstreak of Undertaker at WrestleMania. But Taker has become older and slower, and suddenly the streak has lost its mystique. I think it was better for it to end now than continuing another three years against the likes of Sting, Cena, etc because IMHO it can't frankly go on any longer. OK so he loses the streak to Sting? Another old part-timer who will be pushing 60 by that point? Sorry, but no. Flat no. And Cena? Yeah fans will really be OK with that. I'm not saying this is best case scenario of the streak ending. The match itself was not one of Undertaker's better matches, but for the power of that moment and the reactions, I think it was good. I think the problem is the audience did not have enough time to recover for Undertaker losing. They shat on the Divas match and were depressed during the main event. They really need to get a better handle on match placement and timing at Mania IMHO. At WrestleMania 25, Undertaker and HBK had a five star classic, but then HHH really thought it was OK to put himself over Randy Orton in a lethargic main event.
  20. Way to go Cesaro. So happy to see this guy get such a big moment. I loved Claudio and the Kings of Wrestling in ROH so much and I always thought they were so talented and had so much potential. I remember getting to see the KOW live and at an ROH event in LA, and even though it was a tiny crowd, they just kind of made it feel like it was like 100 times that size. He's adjusted really well and come into his own.
  21. Such an ugly, stupid spot. Shouldn't have done it. I assume Orton messed himself up on the monitor because the match literally stopped dead at this point and it looked like no one knew what to do.
