    They need to basically cut 2-3 PPV's out of their schedule next year. That will help lighten the load. PPV business is not what it used to be. So if its postponed, does that mean that another event will be UFC 176?

    Dana White looked like he was about to break down over BJ Penn on Fox Sports 1 after the fight.

    I mean about the whole division sucking. Sure she is way more athletic than most of her competition, but she's been an athlete all her life and competed at the Olympic level. I don't think she's unbeatable though because IMHO no one in the sport is truly unbeatable.

    I really just have no idea what they can do for UFC 176 other than stripping Aldo and have Mendes fight Swanson instead.

    There are 10-10 rounds. A 9-9 round can happen if someone loses a point I guess. I guess he scored 10-8 round three for Weidman? Which might be a stretch, but whatever. Scoring 30-27 for Russell Doane was disgusting. EDIT: Chris Lee scored round 3 10-8 for Weidman. Really? 1 seemed all Weidman to me. Was controlling the cage and he tagged Machida more than once.

    The only round I thought was solidly Machida was round 4. A couple of them were close though. A decision didn't surprise me just because of the way Machida fights. I was very impressed with Weidman figuring out a way to deal with Machida's style, but he did get very reckless toward the end. But yes, Machida's biggest weapon is also sometimes can also be one of his biggest problems because here while Weidman was tagging him and taking control of the Octagon while Machida was being too patient and waiting to pick his shots. Not saying Machida is a terrible fighter. He's got a very tricky, elusive style. And that's great because a ton of fighters have no idea how to deal with it. But if a guy can deal with that, then he has a ton of problems. Even in the post-fight press conference Machida said he should've been more aggressive in the second round, which IMHO was a close round until Weidman got the takedown and the shots on the ground and then the knees. Sorry but that's on Machida.

    Why not. All the contenders are guys he's ready knocked out. Just have him say, I cleaned out my division. I'm moving up to 155 to fight Pettis or Melendez.

    Actually not a bad match-up since both guys are coming off wins and Maia is in the top 10. Both guys are basically perennial gatekeepers though.

    The brand-split was fine in theory, but after a few years, WWE completely lost interest in it and didn't really want to use it anymore. The world heavyweight title became a midcard title. They couldn't manage two sets of tag titles.

    Pairing up Cesaro with Heyman after WrestleMania turned out pretty terrible for Cesaro.

    Will they just get it over with and release Sandow already? That seems to clearly be what this gimmick is a prelude to.

    And yet people were eager to see him back in Strikeforce and the UFC. And in the first fight he's rigorously tested for and undergoes random testing, he's knocked out in the first round.
