  1. Part of me believes, Tony Khan even booking a major PPV at Wimbley Stadium was his way to get Punk to work a major match with one of the Elite.
  2. She really is Awesome, it's just parts of her reign has been lackluster. Not a fault of her, Just the way she's been booked. Unless she's programmed against a 4 horsewoman, she isn't given anything good to work with. Her and Piper Niven have good chemistry , I'd like to see them have a real program. Like Cena also, she's a great representative of the company.
  3. Logan Paul is the Bad Bunny equivalent of Social media influencer. He managed to have a decent amount of his following tune in to watch him work. Plus him fighting Mayweather gave him credibility. WWE likes to make alot of these celebrities a bigger deal than they are. Not everyone is going to turn out to be really good at this. They lucked out on some good hands over the past decade or more with Maria Menounos , Snooki , Johnny Knoxville, even Snoop we saw last week was able to work on the fly and save that segment when Shane got hurt but those people are not social media celebrities. The problem with Logan Paul being so good is that WWE is probably going to throw money at other people like him and they won't turn out as well. I don't know if he was the biggest fan growing up but he definitely was familiar enough with it. His entourage on his podcast seem to be bigger marks of wrestling than him. Most of these celebrities that have turned out to do the best are the ones that are huge fans. I'm not to familiar with Bad Bunnys music but I know he is a huge star in music and he's big enough currently that he shouldn't be doing wrestling other than the fact that he loves it so much. Same with Pat McAfee. They lucked up that people like that have come along at the same time that just so happened to have the dream to be apart of WWE. I also remember Bad Bunny on LeBron James Barbershop show with Jay-Z on HBO after one of his Mania appearances and Jay-Z saying Wrestlemania is bigger than the SuperBowl. Image the money WWE would throw at him now if they knew he said that lol
  4. The type of gear Dom's been wearing he can have most of his body covered and wear a mask to mock Rey. He's life MJF, he goes out his way to get heat. They probably have to tell him to tone it down headed in to PR.
  5. As deflated as the Audience was at that finish against Cody, A decision like that would probably kill the town lol. They could've put one of the titles on Sami at EC or Drew in Cardiff or Cody at Mania. Whichever title he beat Brock for he could drop and Still have the title he already had and still make the 1000 days on however long. They already teased Bianca vs Rhea so when it does happen it's probably going to be a Unification matching , so that another indication they don't want to Separate the Men's main titles. Them doing the draft explains why we didn't get and call-ups this week
  6. Probably not since they became a multi billion dollar company but wasn't the reason for not turning Cena heel because they thought it would effect merch sales with the Children and Women audience?
  7. I wish he got way more shine in the Survivor Series '19 tag. It should have been Keith Lee's breakout performance. He killed it but Vince didn't see enough to follow up. Bit as far as Gunther, as great as that match was, I was let down that he didn't get much time to show what he could do on the main roster. Then again it wouldn't have made a difference at that particular time anyway because Hunter didn't want them off NXT
  8. I just seen somewhere that Cody’s merch is continuing to do really really well which would have made even more sense to put the belt on him Sunday. It's funny that some people still think it was a possibility of fans turning on him. I know Cody's still happy to be back an clearly the top Babyface. He wasn't going to vetiver the finish of the Mania match but given the reception and the sells of his merchandisHe's got to believe he's the next in line for the title
  9. So someone put it out there that a Brock and Cody feud was planned a month ago before Vince was anywhere close to creative. Don't get me wrong, I think Cody is a nice fresh program for Brock but I find it hard to believe that wasn't Vinces idea. I totally see Brock not wanting to do a big angle if Vince doesn't put his 2 cents in it. Much like everyone believes is why he wanted to work Omos over Bray at Mania. Why would someone feel the need to put it out there that it wasn't Vince's idea to run Cody vs Brock unless you are trying to continue assure the a certain section of audience that Hunter is still the head booker. They are trying to hard especially with having Hunter go out and rally the crowd.
  10. I imagine there will be more big names either ready to leave WWE or released by the company and becoming available by the time of the Wimbley Show If Bayley leaves WWE , I believe it would increase the likelihood of Sasha coming in to AEW. She'll more people she really enjoy working including getting to work Saraya. TK getting to book Goldberg and Sting either as a team or across from each other would be a good draw for Wimbley
  11. Since Vince has facial hair now, you think he overcame his distain for sneezing? Does he refer to steak and chicken wraps as burritos now ?
  12. If she's not on TV next week, it's going to leave increased speculation that she wants out. She and Sasha carried the show in the pandemic era especially pre thunderdome. She was also instrumental in Io and Dakota coming back. It would suck for them to be left without her but with Vince being back, Io and Dakota would probably resume teaming without acknowledging Damage CNTL ever existed. Bayley is more of a HHH guy than a Vince guy but Hunter hasn't booked her too good since he's been in charge so you can't blame her if she does decide not to resign or request her release. I'd imagine Vince wouldn't want her to go. He's kept people around way below her on the card.
  13. It's one thing seeing Sasha Banks mark out for Aja Kong. It's another thing seeing Naomi mark out for her and tweeting her to back fist her. It seems Naomi hinted that she isn't done with the inring side of her career too and she was backstage at the Ring of Honor PPV. Athena also mentioned in the scrum how close they are so maybe she could sign with AEW/ROH. To me it should be more of a bigger deal that the wife of one of the biggest acts in wrestling chose not to resign with them. I've been saying long before she left that she should've been in the Bloodline. It would’ve added even more unique dynamic to the group and would have gave her the a much needed switch up from fun dancing offense. I know Rob Naylor was putting alot of the women on to Joshi and just international wrestling in general when he was in FCW/NXT so it shouldn't be surprising that she's familiar with people like Kong. It was surreal seeing Kong Retweet Mercedes and Naomi about hoping to get to wrestle them. As much as I'd still like to see Naomi in the Bloodline. It's cool to see her continue to pursue pro wrestling outside of WWE, especially for someone who came from outside of wrestling and definitely has talents to do things outside of wrestling and to do other forms of entertainment. Much like Bianca Belair now she has her own love of Wrestling that alot of people from the outside that didn't grow up on it never have.
  14. Though Bayley has been featured as one of the top Women on Raw under HHH, the circumstances of the booking has left her on the losing end alot. She was going over Bianca in the Fall and even though I think they should have , her and Damage Control wasn't going over Trish Lita and Becky. It sucks that she wanted to have WWEs first dominant women's stable and they can't dominate. She probably thought she could be kept being in a faction without having to lose to the Champ straight away but she was feed to the Champ straight away. If Bayley was to go to AEW, it would increase the likelihood of Sasha coming in. Naomi teased this weekend she isn't done wrestling. She was backstage at ROH visiting Athena so I could see her coming in to AEW
  15. Samantha Irvin is the best Ring Announcer in this Current era. She's the closest thing to Howard Finkel we will have.
  16. Are they going to have Cody beat Brock at SummerSlam or something on the way to Challenging Roman next Mania
  17. I've seen a few people of the opinion that that finish of Cody not going over last night was Cody's idea because that's a Dusty Rhodes playbook storytelling. I understand that viewpoint but it would be a real challenge for Cody to keep the audience just as hot for him to win as they would've been if he'd won this weekend.
  18. Roman has been having a top tier run but just because the company is worth 9 billion currently has nothing to do with him as Champion. That's not taking anything away from Roman. If they where going to but the title on Cody they should have done it at Mania. If they do it at Summerslam, it might be cool but it won't get the same Reaction. Back when they prolonged Roman's title win at WM 31 and That other WM match against Brock, it was done just as a last minute Swerve on Vinces part. Whatever plan they have for Roman to drop the title is most likely something they've had planned a while back. I don't know if you have any more strong believable challenger to him outside of someone in the Bloodline. Unless Big E had a miraculous recovery and they were able to build the biggest comeback story and have him go over Roman
  19. As over as the New Day was and still is , the never had The headline feud as a team. Let's be honest, the main reason the Usos have gotten to close PPVs as a tag team is because of the Bloodline. Now slight on the Usos at all because they on an all time great level run, its just that WWE isnt a tag team territory. Unless your a team paired against one of the aces of company or aligned with one of the aces on TV then chances are slim of a tag team really main eventing. The Usos have surpassed the New Day as overall better working team but most of this Bloodline run each of the 3 have dealt with injuries. Zayn proved early this year he's a main eventer so I hope WWE would really invest more in the Tag team division as a whole. This can't be like KofiMania where he wins the title in an all time classic moment but don't really invest in him having a good run. These guys should have some good tags and 6 mans and 8 man tags with the Bloodline.
  20. You can tell they kinda went back and forth about deciding between the Women's title Match and the tag title Match as main event because you'd think they'd drill the fact that this was the first time the Tag Titles main evented Wrestlemania for the first time. I have to watch Rhea vs Charlotte again but people forget Charlotte is probably the best big match wrestler. People say she's been phoning it in alot on the regular shows but on PPVs she really brings it atleast when she's in a featured Match. Charlotte had a chip on her shoulder because she really believed she should have. In retrospect now, most of us would've have been upset if she had but maybe that made her bring it more than she would have. Seth Rollins too is another really good big match wrestler. I kind of expected him to lose to Paul but even if Logan does stay, we probably won't see him till leading to SummerSlam. Logan Paul was impressive again of course but it's difficult to have a bad match with Rollins unless he's put in that Feind type situation. I said it before, Dawkins is improving alot. Ford should be the one to breakout but I like that Dawkins isn't letting Tez completely tread ahead of him. He was in developmental so long before getting called up the past year he seems to really get better. Rey entrance was so lit too, almost got emotional hearing Eddies music. My eyes got a little watery seeing Zayn and Owens shed tears and hug. It would be wishful thinking for me to expect them to put more steam behind the tag division. New Day won't be tagging up anytime soon and the only other team close to as over as them is Street Profits and they are another babyface team. I doubt they want to keep doing rematches with Usos alot, Which would be excellent matches but wouldn't make sense business wise. They don't have heel teams that seem credible enough for Zayn and Owens.
  21. When he said he was going to stop featuring Ring of Honor matches on Dynamite several months ago, I knew he was serious about doing something with it and really making it separate from AEW. Although I do believe he should occasionally put an ROH offer match on both Dynamite and Rampage from time to time just to get it more exposure on free TV especially since it's only on a streaming service you want people to pay for. If it doesn't succeed its still a win for Tony because atleast he has Ring of Honor content. Now he has 20 years of that content and not just the 3 years of AEW content that they are just starting to build up.
  22. I watched the Hype video for Claudio vs Kingston, I like the clips of their feud in Chikara. I remember some of their matches from back at that time. I thought Kingston would have been money for AEW but I guess they already have one top heel that's dope on the mic. Is Vikingo going to be a regular for Ring of Honor or is it just to beef up the Supercards or is he going to be more of an AEW talent. Ring of Honor looks like it's how Tony Khan would book AEW if it was just him without the Elite
  23. I heard it drew 9,000 people. That's really good.
  24. Why couldn't they just do another Open Challenge. Have him Challenge someone in the locker room. I thought it would have been great to have him face Xavier Woods. It would give Woods to have a spotlight singles match on Mania since Kofi is out and you could have Big E corner him, we'd all love to see him out there.
  25. I'm not familiar with hee opponents yet but I thought the same thing. Just for the fact that alot of her Wrestlemania matches were multi person matches, I figured they'd want to only book her in singles matches. I suppose it will be good and it will get a ton of time but I'd much rather see her in one on one matches especially against fresh talent she never faced and people like me aren't familiar with yet
