Every year they present us with a more degraded version of who they think their customer base is. So far my main takeaway from the commercials is that everyone is always kickboxing a heavy bag in an empty gym all the time. Perhaps we can finally ask the question of whether its Doritios or Vince McMahon who has less respect for their own customer base.

Brady getting the top heel reaction by far was pretty funny (and entirely forseen). Technically pretty close to his childhood home town (not that many locals could get a ticket to this).

It's pretty amazing given the 50 years, period, let alone how dangerous we now know playing the game is. I remember they did this a few years ago and Jake Scott & Joe Montana weren't able to attend. I believe this was (and the match that followed) from the very last episode of "WWF" Raw. Anyway, for one week there was a Regal vs Hogan feud! Maybe it's under the radar as far as Regal promos go but hey, it's my man heeling on Hogan, so of course it sticks out in my mind.

I know exploiting the time limit is a staple as old as TV Championships itself but Regal was the first I remember watching use it consistently as a wee mark and I loved how Regal blatantly playing for the tie became more frustrating than other heels cheating to win. It reminded me of 0-0 soccer draws that kept me from getting into that sport (and of course him being British made the association even easier for me to make). When I flipped my personal polarity and became one of Those People (who mainly and mostly root for the heels) he was of course one of the first I embraced. He's even the exception to my rule about being tired of the Heel/Meddling Authority Figure over the last 18 (really? wow) years. Tired of the rest. HE was a fun one.

It'd be wrong to have that theme and not have Vince shouting "IT'S THE ROYAL RUMBLE" over it. Hopefully they keep that clip in the can even after Vince dies. Like Bob Shepard continuing to posthumously announce Derek Jeter at-bats.

Definitely needs be kept protected as a finisher. It's like, 4 regular missile dropkicks all hitting you at the same time.

Re: Extra Points, I would like to see the NFL just borrow from/devolve to Rugby: conversions are kicked from the same angle as the try (TD) is scored. So if you run it in up the gut between the hashmarks it's basically a straight-on shot. But score in the corner and you have a super-sharp angle.

He already pinch hits Bumgarner is probably a better DH option than any conventional DH candidate they have in the farm system anyway.
