  1. Wait are they using light tubes in that match?
  2. The band playing as Crimson Dawn in that last episode was, drum roll please... (no wonder they sucked haha)
  3. Because I watched the new South Park last night Some version of the SP Mouse needs to show up every time they do something that's gonna make you guys mad
  4. https://www.latimes.com/archives/la-xpm-1992-02-11-ca-1654-story.html Yeah, Valenti-era MPAA didn't give a fuck if you were just "a thriller".
  5. If anything that Vs. video shows that some of the charm in the kills is actually in their brevity. For example, I thought the R cut was more effective in the hacksaw one just because it was faster. It seems most of the problem was lingering on the wounds. Both cuts of Jason's death should have been edited together, really, because the first is effective but the unrated is a nice aftermath shot. The banana one is stupid though. So we can show the knife go in, but not come out? That helps what, exactly? Now, when Paramount are going to finally release all unrated cuts of these fuckers is what I want to know...
  6. It got the cover of Famous Monsters of Filmland when it came out. I'd say sure. It's rougher than you think, watching it back again.
  7. Cody, Brandi, MJF and Tony Khan were all just on the local news, guess they flew out to Champaign and did a meet and greet. One guy drove three hours just for that so I think the Assembly Hall show will have a good turnout.
  8. Dish has a "you might like" list of shows when you look at a show's info and that showed up, which is the only reason I found it.
  9. Re: Revenge, I just skipped over the rape. No way I was gonna watch that, the way the guys were acting was nasty enough. It was just time to see them get wrecked. EDIT: Okay so watching Bram Stoker's Dracula on BBC America and they just showed a cut where the three vampire hos had clothing on. Has anyone ever seen this before? I swear I've only ever seen them nude.
  10. Yeah, seeing him wobble around up there after the incident with Cutler earlier said something is wrong here for sure. I wonder how Lucha Bros. and company dealt with it.
  11. Oh and I agree about Maitland. Her book Broken Mirrors, Broken Dreams about Argento is sitting around in a box over here somewhere, never expected to see her in the flesh and she is a bit creepy for sure. You tell me she couldn't be a wicked stepmother...
  12. HA! I remember watching this shit. Eli Roth is a similar channel changer for me. Not just the fact that he isn't a very good filmmaker (that has never been a turnoff to me), more that he is just annoying. He's all over the Why Horror? doc and the Shudder horror doc series/whatever too and I just can't take it. I had a personal Creepshow moment in a house me and some friends rented about ten years ago. While everyone was on tour in their band, I decided to clean the never-cleaned kitchen downstairs, which was quickly being infested with roaches. There was a TV tray that the microwave previously sat on sitting there (the microwave was taken outside and beaten with a baseball bat by me after I set it on 15 minutes to kill whatever was living inside it). I decided to move the TV tray... You can fill in the rest. Wasn't Rob Zombie all over this too?
  13. Awww you should be sending these in to Rippa as Havoc reviews. I think I'm gonna do mini-reviews of some of the stuff I posted above in the spoiler. Lord knows there's not much blood I can get out of the stone that is Creature.
  14. We're all sleeping on getting to see Dean Malenko again during one of the fight break-ups (I forget which one). I immediately thought "C'mon, don't hit the guy with Parkinson's..." Which is actually not bad in theory, heel sees Dean, decides to cool it because he doesn't want to react.
  15. MJF was a prick, PAC was a bastard. Like I said, Tony got a potty mouth They even apologized for going backstage for that 30 seconds or less of Jericho and LAX. Excaliber has his job down. Tony and JR were fine.
  16. Hell, I dunno. I just went back and read the Ebert site review of Nightmare and they said the first one was the best one in the film.
  17. I feel bad because it is an anthology and there might be some good ones in there.
  18. Here's links to some free stuff if anybody wants to watch, I might add to it as I find things. Rituals is fantastic. Hunchback is one of Paul Naschy's gorier efforts.
  19. Never seen Riho and she was so goddamn tiny it was impossible not to root for her.
  20. People have mentioned here that Swagger has said some far-right shit publicly, I guess? Which I wonder if there will be blowback over them hiring him due to that. I really liked the cam looking through the buckles. You know somebody is gonna do a Santito-style corner tope at some point right over it.
  21. Perfectly fine show. Tony has a potty mouth. Crowd got me into the women's match more than I would have been otherwise. Moxley is an idiot landing on glass with his "healed" arm. People need to stop doing SSPs and reverse stunners PERIOD.
  22. That's the only one I own aside from Christmas Vacation and Silent Night Deadly Night Guess which one of the three I make sure to watch every single year (though one of the others I have to because of family too)
  23. Nightmare Cinema was so bad I turned it off after the first segment, btw
