  1. You know what, fuck it man good for him. He's doing whatever makes him happy in front of a couple dozen people. Not much different than playing Mass Effect or Dungeons and Dragons in your spare time. What am I supposed to say, "Join the real world, get in debt, struggle all your life to look like a celebrity. Die unfulfilled" I've decided I can't look down my nose at anybody. My job is pretending in front of strangers and I post on an internet message board. Who am I to judge?
  2. Every couple of months I youtube Michael Tarver and I'm rarely let down. He's great. He's got a goofy but fun match with Trent Barretta from this year. EDIT Dylan, when you C/P highlight that stuff and hit the little Eraser button. It's the second icon from the left on the top row.
  3. Oh god. The Lizard still wrestles in a backyard: The Little Asian guy is in my JaeDMC TOP 100 now.
  4. Just about, yeah. I actually felt bad for The Lizard. Wasn't he the one that the "real promoter" came to and wanted to give him some shitty mask gimmick, and he'd probably just be a guy that some fat guy would beat the shit out of.
  5. I've heard this Alex Colon cat's name come up a lot. Anyone know what I should seek out of his first? What's his act?
  6. Can't trust Dust Blue (Import). Sounds foreign and douchey. Like an e-cigarette add. Black Board Ringer is made in america and 82% all-natural, honey. She'll show you a good time.
  7. But he said he wouldn't play unless he was 110%!!!! WAFFLING SON OF A BITCH I LOVE HIM THOUGH.
  8. Pretty good chance that him backhanding that guy with the game will be the best thing I see all week. Maybe month.
  9. Del Rio at 12 is maybe my favorite rating. Any Briscoe ahead of Dolph Ziggler is one Briscoe too many. Some one recommend me their best match this year so I can watch it see if I still hate them.
  10. Random movie thoughts thread. Yeah, that makes sense. I couldn't remember what we called this stuff before. I think my memory went with the crash.
  11. No way we keep Nate Robinson.
  12. Oh I loooove The Long Walk. I think I first read it around 12-13 years old. You could feel the length just beatingdown on them. Must read for just about anyone, I think. Read The first trade of Peter David's Legendary Hulk run. Very awesome so far. Todd Mcfarlane's work is a little hit or miss, but he knocks one change sequence out of the park. What the hell dos McFarlane even do now? What's the last book he ever penciled? Cover? Also finished How to Create a Mind by Ray Kurzweil. Talks about the structure of the neocortrex and how we're trying to replicate it in computers. Some stuff was pretty beyond me, but for the most part I learned a lot of fascinating ahit. His idea behind augmenting our brains by plugging us into the cloud so that all knowledge is universal and instantaneous, sound both awesome and fucking horrific.
  13. Well I'd rather hear good things than hear that he's a jabroni, you rain cloud acting son of a gun. Gotta talk about something. I mean all we got this offseason is Dunleavy.
  14. I'm hearing that Marcus Teague is having a really good summer league. They're comparing it to Jimmy Butler's Summer League last year. Could be hype, but I really hope the kid pans out. Could be a solid, healthy back up to Rose or trade bait. I have no idea who plays on the Sixers anymore. It's kind of ridiculous considering how good they were getting the year they bounced us in the first round.
  15. Awesome, thanks. It's not that I din't believe you guys, I just wanted to see the words instead of taking people's word for it. Lots of disinformation out there, ya know. I must have totally skipped that bit, like a moron. With that being said, that section should probably get tossed.
  16. But where is that in the law? I can't see where people interpret that. I just want to see the words that people are saying can allow people to shoot people on a street corner.
  17. I can't seem to find that in the statute, unless I'm just plain looking in the wrong place. I see this a) The person against whom the defensive force was used was in the process of unlawfully and forcefully entering, or had unlawfully and forcibly entered, a dwelling, residence, or occupied vehicle, or if that person had removed or was attempting to remove another against that person’s will from the dwelling, residence, or occupied vehicle; and (a) “Dwelling” means a building or conveyance of any kind, including any attached porch, whether the building or conveyance is temporary or permanent, mobile or immobile, which has a roof over it, including a tent, and is designed to be occupied by people lodging therein at night. ( “Residence” means a dwelling in which a person resides either temporarily or permanently or is visiting as an invited guest. © “Vehicle” means a conveyance of any kind, whether or not motorized, which is designed to transport people or property. So are we saying that a street corner is considered a dwelling? I don't even know if Burger King counts. Unless it's open all night and people can just chill there.
  18. Honestly, I kind of dig the idea of honor duels. Instead of this chicken shit drive by stuff. Let's just have an appointed place where two guys decide to just shoot at each other...we'll call it a Colosseum. Leave the bystanders out of the stupidity.
  19. Like I said, I just youtube the stuff I want to see. To me RAW is like 15 minutes long.
  20. What is the value of the Stand Your Ground Law? How would people change it? Do you get rid of it, or further define it? I kind of like the idea of the Law, just because if someone broke into my son's bedroom and I stabbed their face in, I'd like a little legal protection. But then again, how often is that going to happen? Do I need a law "just in case" if so many people are going to abuse it? I'm not sure of the answers here. Maybe the law isn't the issue. If it were overturned do things get better? I don't think so.
  21. I could totally be wrong, and this is all speculative because it's impossible to know what would happen if it were the other way around, but if this was flipped George Zimmerman could technically be considered a person who Law Enforcement officials have appointed to aid them in enforcing the law(even if it's without compensation). Here's what being considered Law Enforcement means in Florida: http://www.flsenate.gov/Laws/Statutes/2012/943.10 It appears to me, and I'm no lawyer at all, that there's a room there for someone in a Neighborhood Watch who works directly with the Police, no matter how loosely, could be covered here.
  22. Well that's fair, I suppose. But I don't think I want to be the person who enjoys how they book John Cena, so everyone wins, I guess. :-)
  23. Is it cynicism if the WWE fucks up their booking so much? Every time I put my hand in boiling water it gets hurt. You wouldn't call a person cynical if they said "No thanks, I won't put my hand in boiling water - It'll suck." They seemingly get more stuff wrong than right, and the stuff they do get right eventually gets mucked up later. I don't think anyone can deny this is the case. The best part of the WWE is the wrestling segments. There are some incredibly talented dudes putting on quality matches. It's nearly everything surrounding the two guys in the ring that isn't working, and it makes it in credibly frustrating to sit through a whole show like that.
  24. Unfortunately, according to the law, that wouldn't have helped Trayvon at all. Law Enforcement Officials are listed as a special exception in regards to who you can stand your ground against.
