  1. Do then predator one first, and after that it's pretty easy to find a deer or something, since you can't kill anything else between the two or save between either (which I didn't realize the first time). Just know you have to actually have an animal around, putting down bait won't spawn anything. I got the first part with a fox I saw in the woods with Eagle Eye, then just went down along the river for a deer.
  2. Peter Tork of the Monkees has passed away at 77. Edit because it has been brought up in the music thread but when I thought of him I automatically thought about the TV show.
  3. Considering how much they've exploited it, you can put that hat back on, sir.
  4. I generally like Gargano despite his faults but man, anybody who does the thigh-slap for a chop pisses me off. Just chop the fucking guy! I mean dude is a hardcore thigh-slapper but lacks so much subtlety. Black slapped his thigh like 30 times in his match but he's so damn fast AND subtle you barely see it.
  5. THANKS VINCE. But yeah I got to see Ricochet vs Riddle in Melrose before so Dream is a welcome replacement and almost certainly a far better match with Orange Cassidy. I'm also pretty psyched to see the Street Profits, and Melrose Memorial Hall is a great venue as far as there is barely a bad seat in the house. Now the key thing is to not drink too much, which is tough when they let you double-fist...
  6. Honestly I'm more psyched for Dream/Cassidy!
  7. Aloy is wonderful but I will say most of the other characters aren't even a quarter as interesting. I never used traps much besides against Sawtooths, but abused the FUCK out of the ropecaster. Shit, I gotta get back to that game...
  8. The hunting in that game is super satisfying, too. I haven't played in a while (since before the DLC came out) so when it's time to go back I'll roam around hunting to familiarize myself again.
  9. Finally taking a break from RDR2 and popped in Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice. I rarely play with a headset but it's highly recommended for this game, so I tried it and was freaked the hell out by the game's depiction of uncontrollable voices. It's an intense experience, and the atmosphere and imagery so far is gorgeous but I gotta say that the combat seems pretty secondary. Still, looking forward to getting through the story - just not something I could casually play at any given time.
  10. This is going to be a contentious statement, but I couldn't vote for Kobashi and especially Misawa because they were a huge factor in the dangerous head-drop style that had huge NEGATIVE effects for many years of wrestling history. I don't say that with any smugness or pride, it's actually really fucking sad, especially with how Misawa's life ended. If we're talking overall history they're the easy pick, but ultimately they did more damage than good.
  11. I fully agree, and want to add that he could kill it with comedy as well, and he spent time as both a great junior/cruiser and a heavyweight. If he'd lived a long life, I think it would be doubtless to many people that he was the best of all time.
  12. Same, and @odessasteps if you dropped into that thread, there was a LOT of quoting, and then he'd post twice in a row many times. It was just ugly to see ? As for Rusev and Lana, it seems pretty clear that somebody in the company dislikes them, so hopefully they get the hell out of there. Besides being good at the wrestling and personality thing, they seem like fine people. Go prosper elsewhere!
  13. For real. He started showing up in the monthly thread here and I was worrying half the posts were gonna be from a person I had blocked, rendering much of it a chore to read. Luckily he pushed his luck elsewhere.
  14. That top pic is from Electric Haze, a hookah bar where they run out of a lot, but I've never seen them there as I've only been to a couple shows in more proper venues (although the bar under the Polish-American club in Worcester has a skeezy charm).
  15. Once those guys started showing their personalitis with their involvement in The Fashion Files, plus Southpaw, I was hoping they would get to be more humourous and embrace their kinda silly image as a throwback/homage to teams like LoD and Demolition.
  16. Fucking forgot about Lowell... Damnit. Dijak vs David Starr from Americanrana '18 was a blast live.
  17. After seeing Gulak a few times in Evolve, I did not anticipate him doing well in WWE once he was signed. I have been completely convinced otherwise by now. Honestly dude has it all, and he's as big/bigger than dudes like Finn, AJ and Bryan so maybe after some time bouncing around 205/NXT and a UK "excursion" (vs WALTER please), he could kill it on the main roster at least in a Samoa Joe perpetual protagonist role.
  18. Comparing wrestlers, to me, seems like comparing ice cream flavors, and while I'll take coffee over pistachio any day, I'm glad pistachio makes somebody else happy.
  19. Not huge on the Beatles but really love The Animals. Cocker's "...Friends" is a million times better than the original.
  20. Joe Cocker has a good bunch of crappy covers available on YouTube but this one took the cake for me.
  21. For a moment I thought you were suggesting the conversation be moved to that thread, which would just be mean for anybody wishing to keep some of their sanity.
  22. Oh damn, only time I got to see Ricochet on the Indies was at Evolve in Melrose, might have to hit this one up.
  23. See, most of the covers I like are the more out-there ones, so it's hard for me to think of shitty ones. Then again, I'd never heard of this Bono monstrosity til now. The Google machine tells me that Attack Attack covered Katy Perry. I ain't subjecting myself to that for anybody.
