  1. I thought a bird/chicken chest meant the sternum was more outwardly pronounced? A friend from way back in elementary school had that, called it a chicken chest.
  2. Beyond Wrestling is starting a series of shows on Wednesday nights of all goddamn nights... Uncharted Territory. First show's gonna have Masato Tanaka vs David Starr. That's almost worth have a miserable Thursday at work.
  3. So it seems we're past worrying about spoilers in this thread by now, but even if, I'll word this simply - if you got any of the scattered gold bars before the epilogues, apparently they respawn after the endgame. Just stopped into Limpany again to test it. Didn't see anything at Braithwate Manor, though, but I think that's more due to the location being story-oriented.
  4. So like, how do they have a match now? Is Ronda gonna just not sell anything, or refuse to cooperate? Are Becky and Charlotte gonna still be able to perform their scripted moves? It's one thing to flirt with shooty shit but now you gotta follow this up with, you know, a scripted match.
  5. Not using the name Starlander is a serious missed opportunity.
  6. I'd argue that "what we now call cultural insensitivity or offensiveness" was always insensitive and offensive, especially to the folks mocked and degraded.
  7. Purely out of curiosity, but what kind of censored documents and artifacts are you thinking about?
  8. Artists, musicians, performers, athletes - there are literally millions upon millions from the beginning until now that can be recognized and appreciated in place of somebody who turned out to be a piece of shit. I'm not necessarily going to jump down people's throats for liking what these pieces of shit put out, but the idea that we can't - or shouldn't - leave them in the past is completely false.
  9. Eh, they put on a fine show, and I think Joey Castillo was playing drums which ruled, plus Converge ripped it up. This was sometime between 1999 and 2001, forget exactly and Google isn't helping.
  10. Very surprised by the love for Disturbed here, to be honest. I saw them, then unknown to me, with Danzig, Six Feet Under, and Converge and needless to say the audience was NOT into it. Singer douche acted like he was gonna meet some of the front row people in the parking lot after to fight. Awful, awful shit to my ears.
  11. Colby Corino is supposed to be at the next Evolve show I'm attending, and as I've never seen him I did an image search and DAMN he is the physical epitome of sleazy skinny indy dudes. Those tattoos, man...
  12. Oh seriously, walking around on horseback and picking off alligators makes that challenge incredibly easy. As for the shotgun ammunition one, I got that one by clearing out Shady Belle, the explosive and incendiary shells are a blast, pun fully intended. I've finished the Explorer, Survivalist, and Hunter challenges and have only 2-3 left of everything besides Bandit and Gambler. Honestly though I'm not sure I'll ever completely get them all done because some of those Gambler ones seem like they require playing over and over and I'm not sure I have the patience for that.
  13. Do then predator one first, and after that it's pretty easy to find a deer or something, since you can't kill anything else between the two or save between either (which I didn't realize the first time). Just know you have to actually have an animal around, putting down bait won't spawn anything. I got the first part with a fox I saw in the woods with Eagle Eye, then just went down along the river for a deer.
  14. Peter Tork of the Monkees has passed away at 77. Edit because it has been brought up in the music thread but when I thought of him I automatically thought about the TV show.
  15. Considering how much they've exploited it, you can put that hat back on, sir.
  16. I generally like Gargano despite his faults but man, anybody who does the thigh-slap for a chop pisses me off. Just chop the fucking guy! I mean dude is a hardcore thigh-slapper but lacks so much subtlety. Black slapped his thigh like 30 times in his match but he's so damn fast AND subtle you barely see it.
  17. THANKS VINCE. But yeah I got to see Ricochet vs Riddle in Melrose before so Dream is a welcome replacement and almost certainly a far better match with Orange Cassidy. I'm also pretty psyched to see the Street Profits, and Melrose Memorial Hall is a great venue as far as there is barely a bad seat in the house. Now the key thing is to not drink too much, which is tough when they let you double-fist...
  18. Honestly I'm more psyched for Dream/Cassidy!
  19. Aloy is wonderful but I will say most of the other characters aren't even a quarter as interesting. I never used traps much besides against Sawtooths, but abused the FUCK out of the ropecaster. Shit, I gotta get back to that game...
  20. The hunting in that game is super satisfying, too. I haven't played in a while (since before the DLC came out) so when it's time to go back I'll roam around hunting to familiarize myself again.
  21. Finally taking a break from RDR2 and popped in Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice. I rarely play with a headset but it's highly recommended for this game, so I tried it and was freaked the hell out by the game's depiction of uncontrollable voices. It's an intense experience, and the atmosphere and imagery so far is gorgeous but I gotta say that the combat seems pretty secondary. Still, looking forward to getting through the story - just not something I could casually play at any given time.
  22. This is going to be a contentious statement, but I couldn't vote for Kobashi and especially Misawa because they were a huge factor in the dangerous head-drop style that had huge NEGATIVE effects for many years of wrestling history. I don't say that with any smugness or pride, it's actually really fucking sad, especially with how Misawa's life ended. If we're talking overall history they're the easy pick, but ultimately they did more damage than good.
  23. I fully agree, and want to add that he could kill it with comedy as well, and he spent time as both a great junior/cruiser and a heavyweight. If he'd lived a long life, I think it would be doubtless to many people that he was the best of all time.
