  1. The Instagram video that actually took the time to explain why Logan Paul wasn't removed from the Chamber after his elimination was such a nice touch.
  2. Honestly one of my favorite things about the non-North America PLEs is that there is almost always someone that gets an out of the ordinary crowd reaction. Like Io Sky getting a huge babyface reaction over Belair at Backlash in Puerto Rico. I think it's also usually not anything to be too worried about as I don't see her getting the same kind of reaction on a regular basis.
  3. While I would be totally down for that, I'm also a little partial to letting Gable get his WM moment and a) let him and Gunther get to do their thing on a major stage and b) give Gable his "WM moment" by having him finally get the big win over Gunther.
  4. When he was plugging that Smackdown would be in Salt Lake City next week, he said something along the lines that if Sami lost that he would be "stuck hanging around with Stevo and Bob."
  5. Props to Corey for dropping a SLC Punk! reference on Smackdown.
  6. She appeared on a Smackdown segment with Aldis and Peace, continuing to basically hype up which brand she signs with. Probably the question is whether she ends up in the Elimination Chamber match or not.
  7. Also announced for Raw: Miz/JD, Tozawa/Maxxine vs. Ivar/Valhalla, and Shayna/Becky in an Elimination Chamber qualifying match. (Rhea also confirmed to face the winner of the Women's Elimination Chamber at WM.)
  8. DIY vs Creeds vs Imperium vs The New Day announced for Raw to determine the Raw side of the qualifying match to face Judgement Day at Elimination Chamber. I feel like DIY is the favorite with Imperium and New Day negating each other and the Creeds seemingly being cooled off a bit.
  9. It was nice to see them pick up the plot thread of B-Fab talking to Lashley in the back for weeks. Now if we can only find out what Aldis's plans for Ashante are.
  10. Also who tries to sell 2024 calendars in February?
  11. The one thing that kinda sticks out to me is that you have rural areas where people might have had access to USA via satellite tv but don't have access to high speed internet.
  12. It's what he has been calling it since his time in New Japan, so it's very much a name that he decided to use.
  13. Also a shout out to whomever decided to do the blurred out "Yeet" t-shirt. I know I wasn't the only person out there that just assumed that production had decided to blur out the shirt because of legal reasons.
  14. Fun show. Happy to see KC² win the Women's Tag Titles. I also have to wonder if the Brutus Ball is long for the world, especially as a regularly used move. I don't feel like it was an issue in NXT but Brutus has not had great luck when it comes to his landings on Raw.
  15. Bummed that Warrior is being cancelled at MAX. There's some talk that Netflix could do a season four if the show does well when it starts airing the first three seasons but I don't usually get too hopeful with talk like that.
  16. I honestly think Ospreay walks out of WK with the title and then drops it at one of The New Beginning shows.
  17. Depending on the popularity of your tv brand/model, you might be able to find people's settings online or there are general calibration videos on YouTube. That said what you're probably noticing is that when you're receiving a channel OTA the signal is uncompressed, where the signal you're getting from your UVerse box is compressed.
  18. Garza and Carillo continue to look amazing and The Family has really grown a lot in the ring. Did love the spot at the end where Tony tells Stacks that he loves him and I'm like, "Wait is he turning on him?" and then he proceeds to throw him over the top rope as an offensive weapon. Not as crazy about basically wrapping this storyline up so quickly but that might just be being my Los Lotharios fandom talking. Do have to wonder if post-Deadline they do the Dusty Cup. Roxanne costing Kiana the qualifying match was pretty predictable but I agree that her doing it by ringing the bell was kind of a weak way to go about it. Kelani looked good and I liked that they had Kiana cut off her usual spots like the 619 arm drag which forced her to find different ways to get into it. Really think that, at least in terms of NXT, they have found something with Thorpe. Feel like you plug him into a quest for the NXT Championship in '24. I'm digging the weird vibes of the Gacy promos, even if I have no clue where they're going. I felt a little bit less the stealing of the ring bell as that just seemed goofy and didn't seem to really vibe with the promos setting up. I liked the backstage segment setting up Frazer and Dragunov which was just brutal but allowed Frazer to at least get a couple spots in. I do feel that the commentary probably could have floated the idea that Dragunov was possibly snapping because of Corbin to further the storyline. Also in some timeline Frazer turns heel because of the fans basically calling for his destruction. Tatum Paxley appearance during the Lyra/Fallon interview! What does it mean? Who knows! Like the continue slow burn on Carmelo's eventual turning on Trick and tying it in with Lexis King's shit stirring. I think King was good in the backstage segment and I like that his offense has some unique stuff in it. Also his finisher looked so much cleaner tonight compared to his debut. The main event was pretty awesome. Building it around with Bronson just destroying everyone and having Ivar be the only thing that could basically keep him from winning. Vic at least brought up if Dom would give the winner a North American shot if someone besides Wes Lee won. Liked the show ending with Kiana and Roxanne brawling in the parking lot. Will be interesting to see whether we get some kind of stipulation match between the two at Deadline or if they save it for tv.
  19. I don't need that kind of stress. It's bad enough that the Warriors have played the Kings 5 times(2 pre-season, 3 regular season) in a month and a half. Average margin of victory over those games? 3 points. I look forward to two months without playing the Kings.
  20. Kelani and Kiana James in the Women's Iron Survivor Challenge qualifying match and Bron Breaker and Eddy Thorpe for the men. Assuming that Kelani ends up in after Roxanne prevents Kiana from doing something dastardly. Edit: Dragunov/Frazer added to the card.
  21. Enjoyed the opening interview segment which allowed Randy to get his reaction from the crowd and let Rhea get a little shine in also. I'm never a huge fan of gauntlet matches but it was a good use of the first hour going commercial free. The booking also didn't do the match any favors as the crowd definitely didn't seem to love the Creeds going over the two face teams that they actually seemed to care about. Think they figured the Creeds' athleticism would win the crowd over but it didn't really seem to happen till pretty late in the portion of the match with Imperium. That said the Creeds basically never don't show out in a match. The booking also seemed weird that after Imperium lost to the Creeds that Gunther is talking about them dealing with #DIY who they didn't even interact with tonight. Did like that Miz seemingly isn't done with Gunther. Liked Shinsuke revealing that his target has been Cody, especially with the red mist that made it look like blood was dripping from his mouth. With almost two months before the Rumble, it'll be interesting to see how they go with this. Ivar and Bronson was great and happy that they'll be running it back sooner than later. Also I loved that they did the LED board display messing up when Ivar did the crossbody to Bronson on the outside. I've missed them doing that when people hit them. Think they're doing a good job building Nia to be Rhea's next opponent as people look competitive against her but just at the end of the day can't put her away. Will say that people like Zoey kinda make me wish that they had a secondary women's single title, without bringing the NXT Women's title to the main brands. Looks like we get Shayna/Nia next week. I would say that McIntyre is doing his best character work right now but I'm not really sure how much competition there is for that title. The women's tag match wasn't anything special but was still entertaining. Chelsea/Piper have really started to click and I loved the spot during the commercial break where Chelsea tried to slam Piper on Nattie. Would like to see them either get to work a program with Carter/Chance or the Unholy Union. Dom was a great first opponent back for Randy as it let him get maximum reaction from all his spots and even let Dom get a few spots in too. JD is also seemingly out there literately willing to die for the Judgment Day. Punk's interview wasn't anything earth shattering and I don't know if it was great placement with a not super hot crowd at the end of a three hour show. That said I felt like Punk got the crowd into it by the end. It didn't really give that much direction to Punk, as honestly I felt like Rollins/Drew segment seemed to give more direction toward Punk. But I suppose a perk of the WWE situation is that they can slow roll the Punk situation as they pretty much have an abundance of riches at this point. Will be interesting to see if Punk and/or Orton show up on Smackdown as they should both be free agents.
  22. I'm kinda wondering if they bring back up Humberto and Angel to give Santo a new Legado del Fantasma. Partially because I can't think of anyone else Hispanic on the roster for them to put with him.
  23. Suspension is in, five games for Draymond. Edit: $25K fines for Klay, McDaniels, and Gobert.
