I always found Doris to be fairly knowledgeable, but a tad bland. I think she'd work better in a studio setting than she would calling games, but she's still best suited to sideline duties.

It seems like everyone agrees that Jalen and Simmons should stick around, but Wilbon and Magic are the major problems. If Wilbon was more like Ernie Johnson, and less like the Davey Richards of hosting, he would be ok.

This is nothing but an upgrade. The show should at least be tolerable now. I love Doris forever just for her "one question" moment with Popp. As Burgundy said, she's the only one that could stand there with a Popovich or Carlisle and not be intimidated.

Based on the two preseason games, "Monta basketball" looks pretty damn good. He's a good fit for the Mavs. Dalembert needs work.

As I recall, the whole point of the Douglas/Taz feud was that everyone knew Taz was going to beat him, and that was the point. Douglas did everything he could to get out of it. Created an issue out of nothing to get Taz distracted with Sabu, sent the Triple Threat after him at every turn. He wanted no part of Taz. The payoff was Taz finally getting him. Now I do agree that they could have probably done a little more out of letting Douglas get some kind of screwy win in at GAC.

Actually, there is a ton of quality stuff from 04-06 ROH that got lost in the wind for whatever reason.
