That is definitely plausible. I used to be into all manner of nerd shit like anime and Shadowrun, but grew out of it, even though I still kinda hang with that crowd. I like the stuff from back when I got into it, but I don't see newer stuff. My outlook on pro wrestling is almost the same.

They should have had a vote for Okada's opponent. Speaking of Okada, is he the only case where pulling the trigger on a title win early worked out? I know Nakamura got it super early too, but he took a few more years to really become a start. I don't recall a HUGE backlash on Okada last February, even though I admit that I wasn't sold at first. Dude has won me over since then, and I think he's going to be a great company ace once Tanahashi winds down.

She was wrestling hot, and we all grew up seeing her. There is definitely some nostalgia involved. I hate to make the comparison, but she's kinda like the same as "porn hot". More often than not, a hot girl in porn would only be ok in the real world. That's Sunny. With that said, 1996 Sunny is instaboner for me. Oh, by the way, 1996 Sunny smokes Megan Fox.

That Bucks match was awful. Honma/Shibata, Ishii/Tanahashi, Makabe/Ibushi vs Bullet Club and Okada/Anderson are all worth checking out though. Mostly fun show. I'm sure others will enjoy Naito/Tanaka and Nakamura/Minoru more than I did. I can't stand Naito though.

I don't see Naito vs Okada drawing for shit. Hell, they could run Okada vs Ishii and get the same house, with a better match, and a crowd that actually cares.

I agree, but boy did ESPN sure like em. My friend Tommy is a lifelong ND fan, and he was convinced they had a chance, even after I accurately predicted how it would turn out. As for this season, I really don't see beating Bama. Yeah, they are weak against longer passes, but you can't do that for a full game.

I'll admit that I lowkey wanted a Bama-Oregon championship game, just so they could put them in their place and embarrass them just like they did Notre Dame last year.

This. Mettenberger was just getting battered in the 4th, and he didn't have to be. Saban was after blood. People can bitch about Bama being on top, but I don't see anyone knocking them off anytime soon.
