Bill Simmons coined the phrase "Shart for Smart" and I'm dying.

So what's the deal with Newsroom? I have friends who are absolutely in love with the show, but then I see people who loathe it. I've never seen an episode, but I've been curious about the division.

I watched a match from late 94 between Doink and Backlund, and I thought it was damn awesome. I'm not sure if that was Ray Apollo or Steve Keirn under the mask at that point. I loved the match though, because Backlund looked like a killer. I'm not sure why things went off the rails for Bob, because if THAT guy showed up every night, he would have been my champ until the Stone Cold era.

And will probably have a few "awww" moments, which I am not above popping for.

I'm probably alone in thinking this, but I like the sounds of that.

The problem there is that this is the first time that Abed did something really bad, and really showed no remorse whatsoever. Yeah, he's a "robot", but he always seemed to genuinely care if he hurt someone or found out he did something really wrong.

Great episode, but man, they made Abed look like a real piece of shit.

The Prince AJ/Karen Angle stuff had a weird charm about it. Especially when he took her to, what was it, Gator Town or some shit? He was like Kurt and Karen's adopted son, and he looked like Jughead with that crown on.

I'm not so sure. Keenex did seem pretty protective of Dorian when the other detective threatened to put a bullet in his head, which made be think it was filmed further along since it's established that they're friends. The note he wrote to Stahl seemed an indication he was finally doing something about his feelings for her after ages of flirting. It was weird how he's apparently been in anger management for several months and we never heard a peep, though. And they just seemed to randomly bring up his evil ex-girlfriend. Also, he was hostile towards Dorian early on in the episode like he was in the pilot, and they brought up his distaste for the MX's again which they haven't in a while. Eh, just read it WAS the second episode after all. In that case, they were already rushing the Keenex/Stahl angle lol. Not sure which relationship being rushed is worse. I just hope that when the show hits dvd/Netflix, they fix the order.
