  1. The fact the internal storage is only 32 GB heavily implies that games won't do a big 10 GB install just to play. It can be expanded with microSDXC cards, google tells me a 256 GB version sells for around $90 on Amazon.
  2. There hasn't ever been any rumors that Whaley doesn't make draft decisions since taking over as GM, unless you're privy so some hot insider information that no one else has reported.
  3. I miss the days when each major promotion had their own fan-made site in Stuart's Network with all the latest news. Purolove is great for results but can't go into detail like those sites used to.
  4. Nintendo is also going to start charging for online the same way Sony and Microsoft do, which isn't shocking as they were leaving money on the table by not charging for it. But it also looks like they are doing the 'one free game per month' thing which is exciting for me since I hardly played any Wii or Wii U games so it likely will be games I haven't played. Hopefully uh good games. It has also been announced that Sonic Mania will be on the Switch, I think we knew that but it was confirmed anyway.
  5. Also the main games they showcased I think were targeted more towards Japanese fans, and also to showcase the 'new' stuff that the system could do. I mean SMT, Fire Emblem, and Mario Kart would have been bigger titles to show off for US fans than Arms and 1-2-Switch. The issue was more their theory on how to present it than an issue with the console itself. I was hoping for a surprise like Monster Hunter or Pokemon, but besides that it was about what I expected. Zelda being a launch title I think is a really big deal since Mario isn't coming out until before Christmas and nothing else big seems to be planned for the first few months. Zelda will keep people busy though.
  6. Zelda is a launch title and now I have to try to find the damn thing at launch.
  7. And he did plead guilty to obstruction so it isn't like he was a completely innocent third party. He also said afterwards that the fact he was successful on the field proved he was innocent since God wouldn't let him be successful if he wasn't. I don't think anyone (well, most people) thinks he actually killed someone, but he is so damn annoying that it makes a fun joke and many do believe that he knows more about it than he admitted due to the whole obstruction thing.
  8. I don't think Whaley is stupid, so likely where our opinions differ
  9. You're confusing the Bills with the Bucs. Although the "B" is the same....
  10. Obviously the Bills aren't actually drafting a WR in the 1st Round since it isn't a need, the bigger question is if they will "reach" for a QB like they did with EJ or go for the best Safety/CB.
  11. On a serious note, this move is probably the worst in modern major sports history. Generally a team moves to a new city for more money and has fans in that city excited to see them arrive. LA gives even less of a shit about the Chargers than SD does. From what I can tell they literally don't care, we saw in the 90s that LA isn't great at supporting local teams, its just a really bad idea. I am surprised that the NFL didn't do more to try to block it as I am sure they have some measures in place, but I guess not enough. In no way does this benefit the NFL or NFL fans, its a lose-lose situation for all involved.
  12. Every time I think Twitter is completely pointless, something like that comes along to justify its existence.
  13. Since I have no video-game-creating knowledge, I have no idea how hard it would be to make a game have two different processor/graphic requirements. I mean PC games have multiple graphical settings, is it any different/much different for developers to do the same for the Switch (an actual question I don't know the answer to)? Since Skyrim, NBA 2K17 and a few others have already been confirmed I'd have to assume its not super difficult, at least not as difficult as it was for developers to make the Wii U Gamepad part of the experience. I guess we'll find out shortly.
  14. I'm fine with Sean McDermott for the Bills. I admittedly don't know much about him aside from what I just read but he seems as good as anyone else available, especially if he gets a good 'team' of coaches around him.
  15. Yea but the argument was why didn't Brock just lose in New Japan instead of losing in IGF so Angle could then go lose in New Japan. It was all a bit odd.
  16. The match itself was fine, a cookie-cutter WWE-style match where neither went outside the box, but Angle has never known when its appropriate to mail it in. I mean a ridiculous premise but not the worst Brock match in Japan.
  17. I imagine, but since it looks like they didn't make enough, pre-orders will probably fill in minutes. Because you have the people that want to own them, then the people that want to flip them, pre-orders for hot items don't last very long.
  18. While obviously his early death was incredibly sad since he was only 40 years old, his body was pretty broken down at that point and he was still recovering from injuries. And a lot of his 'aura' had already faded due to the aforementioned reasons. I am sure he had some quality big matches left in him if he had fully recovered but I doubt he would have come close to regaining his old form on a regular basis. I got into puroresu right around 2003 so I missed a lot of this stuff live at the time, although I was around just in time for the Lesnar/Chono/Fujita shit so I still feel like I witnessed much of the worst of it in real time.
  19. The irony of course (or hypocrisy, whichever you prefer) is that Inoki put his fighters through what he refused to do. Besides the bizarre Ali match, Inoki wasn't having real fights against highly trained opponents, he was having worked fights against highly trained opponents. Then to 're-create' that he put his young wrestlers in legitimate MMA fights they had very little chance of winning since they were against legitimate MMA fighters. All very dumb, I just assume he is legitimately insane.
  20. With the official conference soon, seemed like a good time to revive this thread. Europe, bless their hearts, has brought us this leaked list. Take it of course as a rumor: Final grain of salt item - several places have it listed at $249.99, which I think is a good price point. Here is the youtube link to the live stream of the presentation, which since the console comes out in two months should answer any questions. The stream is already 'live' and has a countdown, the presentation starts at Thursday at 11 PM EST. I'd buy this at launch if I could find it at launch, but I am not a crazy person that pays above retail or waits in long lines. If I "happen" across it online, so be it, but I'll wait awhile if necessary. Not like I don't have enough of a backlog anyway.
  21. Such an exciting game, as a mostly neutral person that didn't mind seeing Saban go down I really enjoyed it. NFL and college teams run rub/pick plays all the time so if that is what Alabama fans harp on, that's on them.
  22. JML is just a nicer person than I am. Tokyo Joshi Pro appears to have some really solid young wrestlers. I know they are DDT-owned but I wish some of them get a chance to 'branch out' at some point, if they desire to. Not all of the wrestlers there are top notch of course but Syoko Nakajima and Miyu Yamashita in particular look quite good.
  23. I have no issues if people use spoilers to be nice, but I don't as if someone wants to watch an event un-spoiled then reading a general Joshi thread is a bad idea. As long as spoilers are kept out of post titles of course.
  24. Brady is human and can be shut down by a quality defense just like any other QB, just look at his game against Denver a few weeks ago. But it would take Houston having a near perfect game defensively while also catching the breaks (turnovers and what not) to win. I'm not expecting it to happen, but I wouldn't be surprised if Houston at least hangs in there.
  25. Houston's only chance is if they completely suffocate NE on defense, but I fear that even if their defense does then NE will still win like 14-3 or something. But a guy can dream. Pitt/KC should be fun, I really don't know what to expect. I just hope we get some close games next weekend.
