  1. The disc version only has Episode 1 and the Season Pass for the rest, so if anything it implies that no other episodes will come out in the next month. Hopefully they will drop at one a month, I tend to wait until they are all out as I hate the idea of having to wait to finish a game.
  2. Possible, but there is no position that is a surefire first round success. What if someone passed over Gurley in the first round to pick someone like Dee Milliner (I choose him not to pick on him but DB are seen as safer picks), you still lost out on the better player. I'm not advocating picking RBs early just because they had a great year in college, I'm just saying if you think someone will be elite in the NFL then you pick them if and when you can. The draft is 70% luck anyway in regards to which players will pan out, so teams have to trust their boards for better or worse.
  3. While I generally agree with you, I wouldn't chalk up one bust to why its dumb drafting RBs high in the first round, sure Richardson was a bad idea but if Gurley was drafted in the Top 5 I don't think anyone would be questioning it now. I do think RBs have a lower chance of being worth that high of a pick since so many RBs go later and have productive NFL careers, but if a team thinks that a RB is a super special talent then I won't blame them for drafting high. ...... maybe not quite that high though.
  4. Kinda sad that Ice Age does so well overseas that I don't think they are going to stop making them. But what a surprisingly awful display this year, I think America has had enough of it.
  5. Ayako Hamada vs. Michiko Omukai in ARSION on 7/3/01 I loved this match so much, lots of fire and emotion. And blood.
  6. I have .5 PPR, feel that full 1 PPR makes WRs too strong but no PPR makes them too weak. So its a compromise of sorts.
  7. I am guessing there will be but I try to be nice and let everyone that played last year have a chance to re-join, and I don't know quite yet if anyone isn't coming back. If anyone drops out I'll let you know first.
  8. Since questions started popping up in the Preseason thread, figured we were due to do an official fantasy football catch-all thread so we can ask questions and seek advice from people just as clueless as we are. If you have done the DVDVR Paid League in past years, if you sign into Yahoo the league has already been formed. I sent an email but it may have gone to junk mail. I need payment the week before the draft or your spot will be given to someone with $25 more readily available, tired of chasing down people for money
  9. This doesn't even look like it could be real, but it was. Crazy people.
  10. Agree to disagree. If he doesn't get an extension (which he shouldn't), he will make 800K this year and be in the same situation next summer. And other players may 'step up' in his absence, there is a new QB that he really needs to get chemistry with which he won't get sitting at home. He should voice his displeasure before the next CBA is agreed to. I'd say the same thing if Tyrod was holding out, and he deserves more than two million. That's the way the cookie crumbles sometimes.
  11. Silly when players do that. I never begrudge a player for getting paid when a Free Agent and I understand the dislike of the franchise tag, but holding out when you have two years left on your contract isn't logical. It very rarely works, and in the meantime he is getting docked pay, which is ironic since he is losing money when he likely won't get any more money while complaining about not making enough money. It works so rarely I am surprised players still bother, it hurts the team and could strain relations with a team he will be on for at least two more years. People complain, and someone will probably say it, that its not fair since NFL teams can cut players and pay them nothing so why can't they hold out for more money. Well, the players and owners agreed on the CBA. This is the structure they all agreed upon. Players can up the guaranteed money in their contracts to get around this, and they do, which is their right. But the CBA is what structured the rookie contracts, and if players can (rightfully) want more up front money in case they get cut, owners can (rightfully) expect players to play out their contracts. Especially with two years left on it. So in these cases I do side with greedy owners and not greedy players, they can change it in the next CBA if it really bothers them.
  12. I am not getting excited about my upward swing since Ice Age is just going to kill it. I haven't seen a lot of talk about Ghostbusters being a commercial flop (I don't mean here, but anywhere). Are people afraid to say it in case people accuse them of being sexist? I mean it clearly didn't make near enough, globally it hasn't even met its production budget. I saw it a few days ago and it was actually better than I was expecting, surprised it didn't do better then it did between old school Ghostbuster fans and those that wanted to see a movie with female protagonists.
  13. The theory is that I set aside the ones I'd rather keep (really just Asuka in this case), sell the rest and if I am already in the black then I just consider the card I wanted a bonus for my collection. But generally I sell them unless I get something really special I can't part with. If I had pulled the Macho Man cut auto for example that would be hard for me to sell.
  14. I got a case (eight boxes) on Ebay for $1,350 shipped, so $168.75 a box. Still expensive, but more do-able.
  15. I bet you guys were just thinking "I bet by now, Kevin found another good price on a case of WWE cards and brought more to re-sell" and you'd be correct! I already have 60% of my money back on the last case with 60 or so cards still posted, so what the hell. Nothing epic in this case but some solid stuff, these were the top cards: That's about $500 worth of cards on the market, so I'm pleased.
  16. Save me from reading 43 pages - since I am not paying for the base game, what DLC give the most bang for your buck?
  17. If you have Amazon Prime, cancel those gamestop pre-orders for the NXT version. I guess they didn't sell as fast they hoped: http://amzn.to/2az6XqJ. $80 for all that is a steal.
  18. It is very Nintendo. On one hand, I can understand the desire not to compete with PS4 and XBox in regards to power and do something different. On the other hand, this doesn't sound like an ideal way to be different.
  19. That 2 TB one is a bit of a trick for those that either aren't tech savvy enough to plug in an external HD or don't understand how easy it is and how cheap hard drives are now. Never mind the fact that 1 TB is enough for anyone that isn't a hardcore gamer, and hardcore gamers are probably the ones with extra hard drives lying around Both my consoles are 1 TB, I download quite a bit of stuff but neither are close to full yet. I guess buying a console without any games included in these days just seems silly to me, all consoles come in reasonable bundles now. The 1TB deal seems fair. Also, yay I can play WWE 2K16!
  20. Mariko Yoshida vs. Lioness Asuka in ARSION on 7/3/01 This was Asuka's debut match in ARSION, after Aja Kong left the promotion. Huge backstory there of course, really just a fun match between two high-caliber wrestlers.
  21. I use Ebay. Its not the best, but by opening a shop and meeting some criteria, I have the 'final value fee' down to 7% which is a lower percentage than if I got a case in a shop or something like that. Funny timing as this just happened which is crazy but could only happen on Ebay: That is just a base card, not autographed. So the benefit of Ebay is if you have two crazies that really want a card, it can go up higher than you could ever dream of if you sold it for a set price in a store. Its the best method to get a card out on a national level, I wish there were better options but there aren't really any as even if I had my own URL I'd have to find some way to point people to it which would cost advertising and stuff.
  22. Trish was 2011, for Lita it was a good while before that since she had a 'real' match but I would imagine in those scenarios it would be Sasha doing the bulk of the work during the match anyway.
  23. Yes. The problem with what Sasha tweeted is that now people are anticipating it, and WWE is batting about .100 with delivering on surprises. It almost has to be someone at least somewhat exciting or it will fall flat.
  24. It depends on what they are going for. Nia would be deflating to the crowd (compared to the other options) but would probably help if they are creating an ongoing storyline. If they want to pop the crowd and make it a 'big' moment then it needs to be Bayley, Asuka, Trish, or Lita. Not knowing their intentions it is impossible to guess, I am going with Trish just because she is overdue to pop back in and it would be fun to watch. Maybe Trish could return and turn on Sasha to create a new storyline, which is what she really wants anyway.
  25. Funny you mention that, I have done that for my parents for years too. And both like them (obviously I don't go overboard with it), they both have a little display and I am really selective of course to only get their favorite players. My mom's favorite card is a shiny Doug Flutie, he is one of her favorites.
