Yeah, it did. Gives you a warm fuzzy feeling to find yourself next to a guy that's about 20 levels above you and knocking him out with a melee attack. I only registered seven kills and had a k/d ratio that suggests that I was killed more times than I actually had kills racked up, but it was still pretty cool. The only other Crucible option available was Combined Arms.

Just about to level 7. Made my first trip to the Crucible today for a "Control" mission. I wasn't great. . .lowest scoring player on our team (of course, I had the lowest level, too. . .one guy was at 9 and the other 4 were all in the mid-to-upper 20s). Was kind of fun, though. . .I'm sure it will be more so once I get leveled up a little further.

Gotten myself up to Level 3. Still getting used to some of the mechanics, but I'm enjoying this quite a bit so far. Hopefully this weekend I can get myself powered up a bit more.

Here's the thing. The Vikings set a precedent for shit like this back in 2011, when Chris Cook got into a fight with his girlfriend at the time. They suspended him for as long as they could (which I believe was 3 games at the time or something like that), and when that suspension was over, they kept him on the roster, told him to stay the hell away from the team, the facilities, whatever, and just deactivated him every week. He didn't go to trial until March of 2012, when he was acquitted of everything and not punished by the NFL. They could have done the same thing with Peterson. Obviously, it was easy to do something like that with Chris Cook because. . .well, Chris Cook was/is/will be a shitty football player. Peterson, even after his down year last year, was named one of the 5 best players in the league on that NFL 100 list. The Vikings probably thought they could just slide him back in under the auspices of "just letting things play out," and apparently severely underestimated the backlash they got. I was on the "cut him" train as soon as the pictures came out, and even though they had to be dragged kicking and screaming to do it and for whatever reasons, the Vikings wound up doing the right thing.

Amazon is still being stupid. Rather than ship my bundle to my APO address, apparently the first time they shipped it to somewhere in Virginia. The tracking thing on Amazon.com said "delivered" and I was no longer able to track the package. So, I called Amazon, asked them what the hell was going on, and they went and sent a second package. This one says it has been shipped out. Looking at the order, it says that it is "Out for Delivery." In Louisville, Kentucky. Neither I, nor my APO address, is located in Louisville, Kentucky. So, we'll have to see how this ends up.
